Mukunda - Indian apple roll

Ingredients

Butter 100g.
Milk 150g.
Wheat flour 375g.
Sugar 50g.
Baking powder 1h l.
Vanillin 1 \ 4h. l.
Filling:
Apples 2 pcs. (370g.)
Raisins (optional) 75g.
Sugar 70g.
Cinnamon 1 \ 2h. l.
For lubrication:
Sour cream 2st. l.

Cooking method

  • Heat milk with butter to 37C and the butter is completely dissolved.
  • Add flour mixed with baking powder and sugar. Knead the dough.
  • For the filling, remove the core from the apple and cut into small cubes. Mix with raisins, sugar, cinnamon.
  • Roll out the dough into a layer 3mm thick. It is more convenient to do this on a silicone mat. Lay out the filling. Using a rug, roll into a roll. Pinch the edges.
  • Along with the rug, transfer the roll to the baking sheet, seam up. Lubricate with sour cream.
  • Bake in an oven preheated to 200C until golden brown. The time depends on your oven. I have 50 minutes.
  • Very aromatic and tasty !!!! : nyam: We ate it again in one day !!!!
