ellenka
Vika, how are you with the pea soup, how did it come about?
Temka is not very active, probably the cartoon is so good and understandable in work that there is nothing to discuss))
Vika *
Thank you, I cooked the soup yesterday, but the peas did not boil like mashed potatoes, I really like baking bread so far I haven’t done anything else, I want to try pilaf, I don’t know only on what function
ellenka
I haven't cooked pilaf yet, but on the BREADMaker's website there are different recipes for pilaf in different models of MB.
even in the book from multi "200 recipes" on page 65 there is Plov.

Thanks to Eiienka for the tips, I've already looked at different sites and everyone cooks in different ways, I can't decide how, after all., I made yogurt in 12 hours, I will spend a little peroxide with me for less time
Tatiana Gnezdilova
Vika *, 12 hours is too much for yogurt. I put it on for 6 hours, then it ripens in the refrigerator and it tastes great.
Manna
Girls, what do you use as a leaven? If ready-made yogurt, then 12 hours is too much. But if dry starter cultures are used, then on average 8-12 hours are fermented on them. On ready-made yogurt for 4-6 hours. But it is better to check after 2-3 hours, because it may ferment during this time.
Masyusha
Good afternoon everyone! As a starter I use natural yoghurt SVALYA "Organic" or 2.5% natural yoghurt Valio. I make yoghurt in Redmond jars. 6h 30 minutes 40 degrees on the Multipovar program. It turns out a thick tasty yogurt. I take milk 2.5% or 2.8%. But the fatter the milk, the tastier, of course, and the yogurt is thicker.

But with porridge there are obvious problems!
Maybe I'm doing something wrong?
I ask someone who has porridge in the M70 without any problems to describe in detail the process of cooking any simple porridge so that I can conduct a test.

Hello! I have been using this multicooker for 1.5 years. I'm very happy - that's putting it mildly.
The porridges are excellent! True, for this I had to work a lot to correctly calculate the proportions and choose the cooking time (I do not use the recipe book).
At the moment I am preparing 8 different cereals. I post my notes. I think that they will be useful to many. All my cereals are designed for THREE servings - there are three of us in the family. I always put the timer on a snooze for the morning. I take ultra-pasteurized milk, fat content 3.2% - Prostokvashino or House in the village.
All porridge (except oatmeal) I wash well with water and throw it back on a fine sieve so that the water is glass. I additionally pour the millet with boiling water so that the bitterness goes away, and I soak the pearl barley in water for 10-12 hours.

FOR ALL CASH:
1) grease the bottom of the bowl with butter
2) salt - a pinch
3) sugar - 2 tablespoons
4) liquid = 3 multi-glasses of milk (up to the very top, wrinkle) + the rest is water
HERCULES (long-boiled hercules, it should be written on the box that the porridge is cooking for 10-20 minutes)
1 multi-glass of cereal
4 multi-glasses of liquid
salt
sugar
"Milk porridge" 30 minutes
heating 1 hour
RICE
3/4 cup cereal
4¼ multi-glass liquid
salt
sugar
"Milk porridge" 30 minutes
heating 1 hour
CORN
0.5 multi-glass of cereal
4 multi-glasses of liquid
salt
sugar
"Milk porridge" 35 minutes
heating 1 hour
Barley
0.5 multi-glass of cereal
4 multi-glasses of liquid
salt
sugar
"Milk porridge" 40 minutes
heating 1 hour
WHEAT
3/4 cup cereal
4 multi-glasses of liquid
salt
sugar
"Milk porridge" 45 minutes
heating 1 hour
Millet
3/4 cup of cereal (rinse and scald with boiling water)
4¼ multi-glass liquid
salt
sugar

If with pumpkin: + pumpkin cubes

"Milk porridge" 45 minutes
heating 1 hour
OAT (from oats)
3/4 cup cereal
4¼ multi-glass liquid
salt
sugar
"Stewing" 1 hour 45 minutes
heating 4 hours

PERLOVA
0.5 multi-glass of cereal (soak for 10-12 hours)
4¼ multi-glass liquid
salt
sugar
Quenching 2 hours
heating 4 hours

I hope everything is clearly written.
Tatiana Gnezdilova
Vergo, thanks for the selection about porridge, took it to your bookmarks. And then Panasik cooks all the porridge for me, but Redik is somehow not covered yet, we will correct the situation.
Manna, about yogurt, totally agrees with you that 12 hours is a bit too much. I do it from the ready, like Masusha, put it for 4-6 hours, and then in the refrigerator for ripening, it turns out a thick, tasty yogurt.
Povarina
I recently bought myself such a slow cooker. I cook porridge without problems, the child is delighted. Even the cupcake turned out to be amazing, in my case it is a rarity.) But with yogurt something was immediately incomprehensible. In the instructions for making yogurt, it was written that you need to set it at 8 o'clock, but it is peroxide in the mult. After that, I did not do it anymore, I will use your advice and put it on 6.
Vika *
Povarina, I now make yoghurt in 4 hours, because in 6 it also oxydated. Good luck
Eva3
Girls, yogurt needs to be cooked out of time, but checked, as soon as it has thickened, taken out and in the refrigerator, let it ripen. It all depends on the leaven. I have ready-made yogurt on Genesis sourdough in 4.5-5 hours, once I bought some other one, it took 8 hours to prepare. If I take ready-made yogurt (my own) for sourdough, then 4-4.5 hours is enough. I really have a different slow cooker, but it doesn't matter. Well, this is also taking into account that a sachet of starter culture is designed for 1-3 liters of milk, I always take a liter. If there is more milk, then perhaps the time will increase. So only experimentally you can calculate the optimal time for yourself.

I bought this slow cooker a week ago, cooked broth, stewed fish and chicken, baked cottage cheese casserole. In principle, I'm very happy, but the problem turned out to be with the casserole, I found the recipe, set it for 45 minutes, the baking program, 20 minutes passed and I turned it over, after 45 minutes it was ready, but the problem was that the bottom and top looked very good dark turned out. although there was no burnt taste, why is that? Did you put a lot of time or a small portion or a problem with this mode and you need to change the multicooker? Who was it, tell me. you are welcome!
Venta
Good evening.
I want to ask for advice. They tempt me to buy a slow cooker, the more I read about them, the more I get confused. Regarding this model, I would like to ask the advice of those who have had it for a long time - they write on the internet that this model has a problem with the lid fixing button, like it quickly fails - is that so?
Is the ceramic bowl coming?
And yet - in the multicooker section, you are better guided by me - if not redmond m70 (m90) - what other multicooker can you pay attention to for good functionality and programs? If I don’t change my mind about buying, then I would like to see more and more reasonably)
Masinen
Venta,
that this model has a problem with the lid fixing button, like it quickly breaks down - is that so?
All my friends who bought the m-70 and 4502 had a button and a multi lid, respectively)
So I do not advise you to take it.
There are more interesting models both externally and functionally.
Rarerka
I am VERY happy with my 4502, no complaints about the button or the cover, respectively. By the way, none of my acquaintances complained about her.

I would like to be more specific, to see, you can not only redmond
Manna
Marina, with this question (about not only redmond) please HERE
Venta
Manna ok, thanks a lot for the hint
Zhenya 1986
In my M-70 on "Cooking-Milk Porridge" all the cereals boil over, I have tried different proportions of both milk and cereals. Now I cook only for "Multipovar", temperature 100 gr., Time of arrival. 30 min + heating until morning. Never boiled away, it always turns out delicious
mamadimo4ki
good evening!!! girls, tell me, does it burn to the ceramic bowl? how it happens with ceramic coated pans
Manna
If you use the bowl as a frying pan and heat it up without food, and then lay them out, do not wash thoroughly, then yes ... the bowl quickly begins to stick. And to burn what will be in the multicooker, unless, of course, leave the food on the fry, forgetting it?
Zhenya 1986
I have been using this cartoon for a year, two months ago it began to stick, this is where frying in the MV ended, now only soups, compotes and cereals. For baking, I cover the bottom with baking paper .. I cooked a lot and often in a slow cooker, apparently the bowl could not stand it
mamadimo4ki
Thank you girls, they calmed me down, otherwise they were worn out with the pans, already from the phrase "ceramic coating" it starts to twitch nervously
Manna
Yulia, coatings of different quality can be. Some fail very quickly, some serve for a long time.
mamadimo4ki
girls and another question, now there is a special offer from Redmond, as a gift you can choose 4 jars for yogurt or a new holder for the bowl, what do you think is better to take?
Zhenya 1986
In my opinion, jars for yogurt are better, the holder is not very convenient for me personally, it is lying in the closet
Masinen
I can say about the Redmond bowl that when frying, everything starts to stick to it quickly. Better buy a teflon gold bowl. Here she is very good)
Love.
Girls, my cartoon is more than a year old and now the clock has turned off, every time you plug into the outlet, you need to set the current time, and only then you can use the timer, it's very inconvenient. Is it possible to fix this problem, can anyone come across it?
Manna
The battery needs to be replaced - most likely it has died
Love.
Manna, I should know where to look for it, the instructions do not say anything about the battery, I already tried to look for it.
Manna
Usually under the body in the bottom. Or in the lid. I mean ... you need to disassemble it.
Love.
There is definitely not a lid in the lid, but tomorrow we will try to unscrew the bottom, if there is no seal there, it is still under warranty.
Povarina
So, what's the problem? If still under warranty, immediately to the service. I would not advise you to change the battery yourself and break the seal. There is also a guarantee for more than two years, and so it is canceled automatically ((
Love.
The multicooker was opened, the battery was found, but the contact was soldered to it, they decided not to touch it. When the guarantee was drawn up, we were warned that in case of problems, go to the store, so we will try to contact, it is never too late to break, but the seals were not found. Povarina, Manna, thanks for the advice.
Zhenya 1986
Love., if it's not difficult, unsubscribe later, change the battery or not. I'm in trouble with my watch lately
Povarina
Love, of course, will change, I'm sure of that. Warranty service has not been canceled yet)
Love.
Girls, I will definitely write. But I don’t know when I’ll get to the store.
Masinen
Love., why go to the store? You need a service. In the store, they won't disassemble the multicooker and will they just take it from you and take it to the service.
Povarina
If it is under warranty you need to go to the store where you bought it, and if it's not about the battery? Warranty service should be provided by the store, plus, in theory, it should be free. And in the service, the guarantee is not a guarantee, but you will have to pay
Masinen
The warranty service will change everything for free!
In the store, no one will disassemble the multicooker!
Povarina
You may be right. I just somehow started to junk the blender was under warranty, took it straight to the service, they sent me to the store, informing me that warranty repairs were carried out not in a local service, but in general in another city. And it really was sent (at least I was told so), and I received it after a certain number of days.
Masinen
Ah, well, I wrote about this too.
If the store picks up, then it's for a long time (
Manna
No, no, you don't need to go to the store. Better directly to the service center. It's faster and more reliable this way.
Love.
During the registration of the warranty card, I was warned that if problems arise, contact the store, that the multicooker is not being repaired for two years, but replaced. Therefore, I'll start with the store, I bought it in a hypermarket. I'll tell you later.
Love.
I changed my slow cooker, but the m-70 was not available, I had to take the m-150 with a surcharge. As promised, there were no problems, she explained the reasons and that's it. Once again I am convinced that the equipment should be bought in large chain stores. I feel a little sorry for my old one, it suited me completely, well, now I have to master another model, I will go to learn from the experience to the happy owners of the M-150.
Zhenya 1986
Love., did you only have problems with the watch or something else? I think I'll take mine to the store too
Love.
The delayed start did not work for me, perhaps because of the hours, everything else worked, but every day I put porridge in the morning, and in the morning I wake up, and the multicooker has not turned on yet, but they did not check, what if it’s not a clock and a battery is not necessary, so we went straight to the store.
Povarina

Happy for you. It's good that everything is in the best possible way. Well the Redmond 150 is also a very good option. I think you will quickly get used to it)
