Klekselkuchen pie

Ingredients

shortbread dough 300 g
poppy 150-200 g
sugar 100 g
Apple 4 things.
cottage cheese 400g
egg 2 pcs.

Vanillin, star anise, lemon zest taste

Cooking method

  • layer of curd mass (Beat 1kg of cottage cheese with 4 eggs and 250g of sugar, add juice and zest of half a lemon, as well as 100g of whipped cream) (* I had: 400g of cottage cheese, 2 eggs, 100g of sugar, zest of half a lemon, vanillin, 2-3 tablespoons of semolina *);
  • streusel layer (150g butter, 100g sugar, 200g flour, vanillin).

Baked in a 24 cm mold and made a full portion of cottage cheese.
During the baking process, he almost jumped out of the mold, but then he sagged slightly and turned out exactly as in the picture, but without a strisel
(otherwise I would have jumped out for sure!)))
So it is better to take 600-700 grams of cottage cheese on a 24 cm form.
The husband said that the option with fillings is a win-win, and semolina successfully removes excess moisture.
Next time I'll put more apples, this time I didn't have enough.
There is only one problem: we just can't remember its name!)))
