But it’s just not clear to me why we need several multicooker in the house. Maybe over time it will come to me and also want to.

Denni, of course it will! .. As a rule, after a month of using CF, the eyes start to burn on the 2nd, or even on the 3rd ...
when they ask me: "why do you need so much MV?", I answer: "well, at home you don't cook ALL dishes in one pan or saucepan" ... It's the same here ... In one MV it is more convenient to cook soup, in another to do roasting, and in the third - baking and porridge ... .. The point is that sometimes you need to cook several dishes at once, this is where the need for a 2nd, 3rd assistant arises ... After all, you get used to that one the dish is prepared in one cartoon and does not require your attention, and already "in scrap" to devote too much time to the preparation of the second course!

I also did not understand until I lived 3 months from the first. And then she was really missed. For example, in a large one - soup, in a small one at the same time - a pie. Well, and so on. In the big one it turns out fried better, in the small one - porridge.

I showed your post to my husband, sits and laughs. Says, can I buy you a couple at once, so that later you won't be fooled? Well then, the microwave will get bored, and the bread maker!
Nope, until I'm ripe, let me even understand how it is, not to cook in the microwave. I’m too used to it and I’m still somehow doubtful that it will turn out better than in the micro.
For example, how can you bake meat with cheese in a slow cooker? If it does, then the volume is too small. Or make a huge pizza? We go to bow to the microwave.

Denni - dear, your husband speaks correctly! ...
I'm telling ... my friend bought MV - she asked me which one to take - advised her - then she took Brand 502 .. In the evening they brought her home ... we had telephone conversations almost until midnight about what to do with the cartoon first once before cooking, how to lay, then they waited until it was cooked and then the dish would be tried again! And what do you think.. ..in the morning she went for the second cartoon ... already without my advice .. she didn't care what kind of ... .. she just realized right away that in practice she couldn't do it alone ... .. now she walks happy "like an elephant "...

And about HP, I can tell you .. now it plays for me, by and large, the role of a kneader, that is, equalization of temperatures and kneading - EVERYTHING ... Then I send the bread for proofing already in the cartoon, and, accordingly, I bake there too. .. So all the devices in the house are involved ...

Huh, what fans are here! I don’t understand this yet!
And about the bread from the multicooker, there is too huge a saucepan, we can't eat that much. We make only the minimum size of 350-400 grams of flour and then eat it for at least two to three days. We usually bake white one day, black the next. Unfortunately, you can't make it smaller in a bread maker, so I would bake tiny ones every day. I used to bake everything in an airfryer, now I switched to a bread maker. The only thing I don't like is the impossibility of baking small bread.
But trying bread in a slow cooker is interesting.

In vain you think so ... .. I constantly bake bread from 400 grams of flour .. Rinin bread - I just love it ... I use MV precisely because the shape of the bread turns out for me personally more convenient than from a bucket of HP, that is, the bread is round and it is much more convenient for me to cut it ... ... but you can bake in MV at least half a portion of the kneaded dough, just the bread will then be low ...

That's just favourite bread from MV ...

What do you mean! Agree while it offers! And then later you will have to persuade and explain why the next one is needed and how it differs from the previous one. We, of course, have a relevant topic, but then it will be more difficult. Eh, if mine had told me so, then I would have turned around!

No, it's okay, you don't have to persuade, he never refuses to buy something for the kitchen. On the contrary, he likes to buy any new equipment into the house. Probably because he sometimes cooks himself. And no worse than me.

Denni, I would still advise you to stay not on the induction 1055, but on the heating element 1051. There is practically no difference in the cooking speed, but in practice in 1051 many dishes turn out better, I really like it.
Most importantly, it is morally more modern than the 1055, which is simply an updated and reprogrammed version of the much older 1054.

Hmm, my husband says that the very principle of induction should be better. But you have both models, and what, the comparison is in favor of 1051? Is the quality of the saucepan the same? And I don't understand, because 1055 is a pressure cooker and 1051 is not, how can it cook at the same speed?
Vei
How is 1051 not a pressure cooker ?! what kind of pressure cooker is just another type of heating, let's say more reliable and less capricious
Cuco is the flagship of the cooking! It's just that the cereals are more successful in 1051, the bowl is the same in quality as in 1055, only the bottom shape is wider and there is no upward bulge due to a different type of heating and, accordingly, a different device. And if you also have voltage drops (for example, the house is not new), then the induction to them is very sensitive and can fail much earlier than you are ready.
Baking in 1051 is softer, I don't know how else to explain ... it feels in many ways that it is more modern

I couldn't choose which cuckoo to buy, as a result my husband took me to the store. Or to the warehouse, I didn't even understand what it was. In short, we tormented 1051 and 1055 for almost an hour, got tired ourselves and pissed off the saleswoman. As a result, they still bought 1055. Outwardly, 1055 also looks somewhat quieter, we don't have red in our kitchen and somehow we don't need it. Meat and vegetables cooked in new clothes have just been sentenced. Mmm, not bad! I'm starting to understand the multicooker fans!
It's not really a pressure cooker though. The meat was cooked for about 35 minutes. In my old pressure cooker, it took 10 minutes less.

Good day to all!
I'm new to your forum and just plan to become the proud owner of a multicooker
For the third day I will not get out of the Internet, my head swells from the variety of choice. None of my acquaintances have such a unit, they cannot advise, so I am addressing you ... From the entire assortment, I liked several models:
Polaris PMC 0517AD (but here I am confused by the problems with setting in the delayed cooking of porridge and judging by the reviews, the menu is not convenient)
Redmond RMC-M70 or REDMOND RMC-M4502 (like similar models) Confuses the brand of the company itself, many talk about the discrepancy between price and functionality ...
Polaris PPMC 0124D (I understand this model for those who have not decided what he wants)) Multicooker or pressure cooker))) Does it really perform all the functions of a multicooker !? I don't really need a pressure cooker due to the lack of preservation of vitamins during the cooking process, but what if something urgently needs to be prepared! ??)
Something like this ... I don't know of course if I need such a number of programs ... But you always want to have as much and more as possible))))
I can only say that there is no full-fledged stove yet. And so I want casseroles, fries, buns and cakes)))) And stewed porridge advertised on all forums !!!
Perhaps you can advise to pay attention to another model ??? The price range is around 10,000 rubles. A family of three. Thanks in advance for your attention
And I almost forgot !!! I still cannot understand how you cook soups! ?? Scale must be removed there !!!

Do not! How did they cook in a Russian stove before? They put the pot in the stove and do not touch it until cooked. The principle is the same here.
Vei
Irina, take Polaris 0517 or 0520 for starters. The first menu is absolutely normal, the same as Redmond 70 and 4502. Only the price is reasonable. Polaris also have no problems with postponement or porridge, and those that once had been resolved for six months already. All functions are there, everything works fine.
Try for a start what kind of beast the multicooker is, and then you yourself will understand what is important and necessary for you.
AntX
Good evening, dear members of the forum.
I have been reading this forum for about a week now, because I choose a multicooker.
The situation is as follows: my friend and I study at the same university, we live together in a hostel. This year we were moved to one room, so now we live together. There are only two stoves on the floor (and one of them barely works); it is forbidden to store electric stoves in the rooms. And there is not so much time that can be devoted to cooking - it is rarely possible to spend more than half an hour on weekdays or an hour or two on weekends on cooking. So buying a multicooker seems to be a good way out of the situation. Based on the situation, the requirements for the multicooker are as follows (I tried to sort in order of priority):
1. The ability to easily cook any porridge in milk (and preferably only in milk, without water), an omelet or casserole in the morning for two using a delayed start. This is a basic requirement, since there is no other way to have a good breakfast.
2. The presence of a large number of recipes on thematic forums (in particular, on this forum). Since we are still far from being aces of cooking, and there is no extra time to check the recipes, I would like to see a large number of proven recipes. Accordingly, I pay special attention to recipes for various cereals, omelets or other dishes that can be prepared for breakfast. But, of course, I would like to see various recipes for pastries and meat dishes, because on weekends you can pay attention to the preparation of such dishes. The fact that the recipes in the books attached to the multicooker should not be trusted has already been written everywhere.
3. A ceramic-coated bowl is highly desirable. I don't want to rack my brains over how much money DuPont and Tefal paid to researchers who proved the safety of Teflon and its analogues. And yet they do not save on health.
4. Due to limited free space, the width and length of the purchased multicooker is limited to a frame of approximately 30x30 (cm). There are no height restrictions.
The upper limit of the budget is 5,000 rubles. I'm going to buy in an online store in Moscow, the shipping cost should not be included here. The estimated service life is 2 years, but, as I understand it, any multicooker with careful handling with it can work without problems for two years.
The first question I faced when choosing a multicooker is its volume. Multicooker with a volume of 5 liters is presented in the largest assortment, including those with a ceramic coated bowl. But such a volume in 90% of cases (making breakfast for two) will be redundant. When trying to choose a multicooker with a volume in the range of 2-4 liters, I ran into a problem: either there are few recipes (for example, Maruchi RW-FZ47 or Binatone MUC-2130), or there are problems with cooking porridge (Binatone MUC-2116 - there is no such mode, users get out using other modes, but with varying success), or the bowl is not ceramic. Everything was fine with only one cartoon: Redmond RMC-01, but the question immediately arose: whether two liters is enough for us (or 1.4, if we measure up to risks). Given the fact that there is more time on weekends and we will often cook on the weekend (followed by warming up), it seems that there will not be enough. It is possible that the solution could be the purchase of a multicooker with a Teflon coating, followed by the purchase of a ceramic bowl, but in this case, the range of choice expands significantly, and it becomes more difficult to fit into the existing budget. I ask members of the forum to offer purchase options that meet the listed criteria.
Vei
Panasonic 10 - the volume of 2.5 liters (or even 3 liters) I don't remember exactly. There are a lot of recipes, since all recipes from the large version of Panasonic will do. For the price, too, go through.

I'm the same for Brand 6051
I think 2.5 liters is not enough. On weekends, boiling soup or making meat will not be enough. And I cook porridge for 2-3 people, right next to it, enough for 800-1000ml, so a saucepan for exactly 5 liters is needed.
Olega_mama
I am also for little Panasonic. Everything is normal with her with the cooking speed.
Not a pressure cooker, of course, but everything is within reason.
The absolute absence of any dances with tambourines, elementary management - these are all advantages. I doubt that young people will be interested in delving into what temperature to choose for what mode, etc.
Well, in terms of reliability, whatever one may say, it has no equal. And all other brands in this price category (and among many more expensive ones) are a lottery upon purchase.
