And in Vitek, I wonder how many of these grid inserts with blades for cutting cubes ... Who looked at the completeness? Is there only one or are they removable and there are still a couple of pieces?
Marusya
In Vitek, there is an insert for cutting into cubes 1 piece.

For Phillips 1669, additional lattices (cubes and triangles) will still have to be purchased, since they are not included in the kit. Can really buy Vitek.
I will reveal a military secret!
Zvezda has a Phillips cube. And since she took Philps, it means he is better.
She is such a star - shines only for good !!!!!
She knew about Vitek - but did not buy it.
Marusya
Was in the store today. Phillips and Vitek are standing next to each other. What to say? On the color and taste, as they say .... But Phillips was more on my soul (quality of plastic, ease of closing the lid, etc.), My choice is Phillips.
Lagri
I also like Philips more, because after all - the European quality. I think it's more reliable. But there you will have to buy a nozzle for mashed potatoes. Maybe they will release a model with such a nozzle ... After all, in the 1669th model there are already replaceable grids for cube cutters.
julifera
As far as I understand the chopper in both blenders is microscopic! What's in Phillips, what's in Vitka.
I have a second Kenwood blender with both a huge chopper and a potato grinder - a great complement
More than once I have faced a situation when well, sooo needs a large shredder.

So if now I was offered to buy everything from scratch - I would still buy two blenders in the same way - Phillips-cube and instead of Kenwood 724 - its analogue Phillips, but not Vitek (although I have nothing against him!)
Marusya
Lagri. in Phillips 1669 - one lattice, the rest need to be bought 1700 rubles + potato maker 1990 rubles + whisk 1600 rubles. I think that to take a Phillips cube with a potato grinder to Phillips's cube, since the child will soon switch to another food, then everything will come in handy.
Lagri
And in a blender I need: a cube cutter with replaceable lattices and a potato grinder. The rest is all there and not in one copy, and with good power.

I recently received my Vitek 1480. I chose for a long time, read reviews, including here. I already have a Phillips-harvester with a complete set of nozzles. He has served me faithfully for the seventh year. So I have no doubt about the merits of Phillips. Therefore, at first I wanted a blender 1659. But I was very much embarrassed by the poor equipment. I even decided to buy 1653 (even though there is a whisk) and then buy an attachment for cubes and a leg for mashed potatoes. According to the information from the official website, these attachments are suitable for blenders of the 165 series (0-9). In 1655, there was already a leg for mashed potatoes, but the blender itself could not be found with fire during the day. But then Vitek came into my field of vision. And I decided not to waste extra money, effort and time on finding and buying the right attachments. Of course, Philips is a respected and reliable company, but Vitek also cannot be discounted. I believe that if a person can afford to spend more than UAH 2000 and fully equip Phillips, then let him take it. I didn't. Can't tell much about my blender yet. Immediately pleased with the lack of smell - neither during work, nor from plastic. The engine block is heavy, but it is convenient to hold due to the recess in the back, the buttons are easily pressed (before that there was a simple clathronic blender - this is where to develop the strength and tenacity of the fingers). Somehow the metal leg is attached too easily (which was embarrassing), but it works fine - whipped a milkshake.I cut raw onions and potatoes on a cube nozzle - everything quickly and accurately. Boiled meat was chopped in a large bowl. There is a small chopper (0.5 l) and there is a knife for a large one (1, 8 l) -Phillips cannot be completed like that, for a large bowl he does not have a universal knife. Well, that's all for now. I will try further.
I think my story will be useful. If you have any questions, ask, I will answer with pleasure. Somehow, there are few real descriptions of Vitek 1480. At least I missed them and I took the blender at my own peril and risk. Therefore, I decided to write about my impressions.

I am in a stupor: I received a thermopot for my husband's relatives. The guys were invited to come back for shopping, and I said that I would come to them for a Philips cube when there was a discount on it. At this time, a number of peasants received their device and got into the conversation that he bought a Phillips cube for his wife, and he went to bed on the second day of use, after the exchange, this unit worked for 5 minutes and also rested. For the third time, the little man took the money and ordered 1480 for Vitka's wife (he took it exactly). So I sit and think: maybe such a party has come across? Or is it just that this little man is not lucky? And so I wanted a gift for NG! Anyone have any more examples of "punctures"? Or is it an accident? I tried it today. What can I say? It turned out to be a great mashed potato, effortlessly and with only one appliance. I liked both in the process (cool "worms" come out through the holes), and as a result (though I did not take a picture, suddenly the guests came to dinner). My verdict is that you can take it if you really want to!
Ksyusha, but I still bought the same potato grinder. More precisely, the Philips HR1618 blender, in the package of which it was included. I also liked the puree with this attachment. And really, no effort, but only one pleasure. There are never too many blenders, I thought, buying it, it will come in handy on the farm. Now it remains to resolve the issue with the cube cutter ... and then that's it! Actually, I don't really want her yet - I get by with Niser.

Marusya
Masha, is the cutter attachment suitable for your blender?
Zima
I have one, only without a potato grinder, model Rolsen SM-700MFS, I bought it home for my mother, we use it when we visit her, though not often, and although the reviews in the market are not very good, I have no complaints about it, maybe because rarely used.
I can only compare with Phillips, I have not used others, Phillips likes the chopper more, I think that the elongated shape of the glass plays a big role, Rolsen has a leg, since it is easier to wash it (knives on a long pin). There is also a Rolsen SM-401MF model with a crushing machine, it really has less power, but it costs from 1700 - although I think there should be enough power for mashed potatoes, and there is also a double whisk in the kit.

Today I loaded my Vitek 1480. I used all the attachments, except the disc for potato pancakes (I used to make potato pancakes on the Philips harvester with a universal knife - I load everything into the bowl at once, even whole potatoes, and for 30 seconds in a pulse mode. And I will be the same in the blender). Well, first things first. I must say that all attachments are attached very easily (too easy). I cannot say that this is bad. On the harvester, I have a multiquick system (or something like that). That is, I put the bowl down, put on the lid until it clicks, and that's it. I also remove the lid with one hand - I pressed the button and that's it. There is no need to turn anything, no effort to make. After this, all the harvesters and blenders are easier to assemble, the better. But because of this lightness, the whisk flew off the motor unit a couple of times when whipping not completely softened butter. But this is in the first seconds. And when the butter was mixed, everything was fluffed up wonderfully. Even 30 grams of cognac and 150 ordinary milk was driven into the cream. The result is a homogeneous and tasty cream. I made "lazy mayonnaise" with my blender leg. It turned out to be ideal for salad dressing thickness. I was very pleased with this method of preparing mayonnaise, although at first I reacted to it with distrust. And the egg is completely used up (no protein remains), and very quickly. On a grater disc she grated boiled potatoes, carrots and beets for a fur coat and raw carrots for a hodgepodge. I liked the size of the grater, and not large and not small. Somewhere with a match. Most universal size. I used the cube cutter for Olivier and for hodgepodge (boiled potatoes, onions, cucumbers, boiled and semi-smoked sausages). I cut the potatoes for the hodgepodge into a disk for French fries (I like potatoes in the hodgepodge and borscht). There are residues of food on the discs, but in small quantities. On a cube cutter, one slice and the last one you cut. On the rest of the discs, they are larger and can slip a little into the bowl with grated ones (raw - a little, boiled - more). But in Phillips, I also had a little food left (however, they did not get into the bowl, apparently the gaps between the discs and the lid are smaller). I believe that it is better to grind carrots and onions for a liter of soup in a small grinder - there everything will be crushed without a trace into pieces of the desired size (the longer, the smaller). And for large volumes, the amount of products that is not crushed is insignificant. More about the mini-chopper (and not only Vitek) - the instructions say that the products must first be cut into pieces of about 2x2 cm before they are put into the chopper. parts, onion - 3-4 slices). The pieces should be large enough and long enough, then, when grinding, balls that are bunched from all sides are not formed and everything is crushed evenly. Back to the cube cutter. The cubes are good, for Olivier they seemed a bit large to me (especially potatoes, I used to cut them on a net made of a thin wire), but this is not fatal. This size suited us. She made liver pate in a large grinder. The result is pleasing. I think it will be possible to entrust both the kneading of the dough and the chopping of meat for cutlets (before that, the Philips harvester did everything, I was happy). I rubbed the mashed potatoes with my foot for mashed potatoes, it turned out not sticky and not stringy (I used to do it with a submersible blender, and a universal knife in a combine, and a mixer - the result is one-paste). A foot for mashed potatoes is a different matter, like a regular hand pusher. After the work done, I can say one thing - I am very pleased with the purchase of Vitek 1480. If the manufacturer also made 2 sizes of cubes (one is 6-7 mm, the other is 1.2-1.5 cm), it would be an ideal kitchen appliance for any housewife. But these cubes suit me too.

Tell me, please, you need a blender: mashed potatoes, chop nuts, if possible, then mashed meat and potatoes. There is a mixer, graters are not needed, I rub it with Berner.
Which of the following models would be better ?:
Kenwood 714, 723, (maybe even lucky and 724 will be) and Braun 320 or 530?
As I understand it, the three-bladed knife is only in Kenwood? And Brown's grind will be worse, and you can't make them mashed potatoes, right? There are a lot of other Bosch, Unit, Vitek, but after reading Temki, it seems like they are considered worse in blenders? ...

For chopping a small volume (0.5 liter chopper), whipping (whisk), making mashed potatoes from everything except potatoes and cocktails (leg), any of the following Kenwood and Brown models are suitable. But mashed potatoes can only be made with a special nozzle (and not only Kenwood is good at it, my Vitek can do it too), only Kenwood 724 has it, but the Browns do not (of those listed). And minced meat in a 0.5 l grinder is not very good to grind. This requires a large shredder. Brown has one in 550 and 570 models, but Kenwood, in my opinion, does not (if I am not mistaken). True, some do not like such minced meat, they prefer a meat grinder. I have been making cutlets from such minced meat for the seventh year and I like it. First in a food processor, now with a blender. So to choose a blender for all your needs, you will either have to sacrifice some attachments or choose other models, albeit with extra attachments for you in the form of any graters. Unfortunately, nothing is perfect.
Lanna
In future plans, a meat grinder, I just would like to get by with a blender for a while, and 550 and 570 with extra graters are useless, I got used to the Berner for many years; and even in my dreams there is still a harvester, but there are always graters there a priori ...
But Phillips and Bosches are considered worse, right? There are just more of them in stock.

subiata
My personal opinion about the manufacturers - Kenwood is better (and that because they are positioned as manufacturers of professional and semi-professional appliances - a narrower specialization aimed at kitchen appliances) And Phillips is not worse than Brown. I don't know about Bosch. Phillips, I have a harvester, a TV, a hair clipper - everything is working reliably. Well, if you are going to buy a combine harvester, then, of course, you do not need a large bowl. My new blender has a large bowl, so I have now stuffed the food processor into the cabinet. Blender faster. But the crushing machine for mashed potatoes cannot be replaced with a combine.
subiata
I also liked Phillips 1618 - and mashed and chopped. If you still buy a harvester, then such a package is the best option.
Lanna
Thank you! 1616 found, available, but no shredder.
We live in such a remote place that reliability is more important, in this regard, as I understand it, should there be fewer problems with Kenwood or Brown? We don't even smell like service centers ... But our own vegetable garden and goats are available)))
Thank you, girls, everyone for the advice, tomorrow I'll look in more detail, otherwise it's inconvenient from the tablet ... And if it just feels like it, I can’t stand it anymore, I’m waiting for my salary, like from a pie oven, without buying a device, it’s already starting to break ...
Oh, while I was writing, they added - no, 1618 is not available, but nevertheless, a chopper is needed, even if later I will swing at the combine. I'll take a closer look tomorrow, maybe I'll find some potato + chopped.

Try it in different stores. When I bought Vitek 1480 for myself, I also "ran" around the shops. There is not and there is not. And where there are wonderful shops, sometimes they don't deliver, sometimes they don't call. So I was just looking for a model and scored to buy. Already on page 5, I accidentally found some kind of shop, when I had no hope. Now I'm sitting happy, I think what else could I cook so that I could cut the cubes with a blender. I wish you a good choice and shopping. The main thing is clearly defined with the goal. And since you know what you want from a blender, half the battle is already done. If there is somewhere to grind and rub, then only mashed potatoes remain. And here is the Kenwood 724 and it may still have the same configuration. It remains only to decide on the brand. Choose, shop and let him bring you the pleasure of cooking. Do not forget to share your impressions later. Good luck.
subiata
Well then. We, too, are far from the capital of the world, but online stores are very helpful.

I have a 600W Brown 530 with an iron leg, whisk and 0.5L choppers.

It was written here that minced meat cannot be made in such a grinder. You are wrong !!!
I make minced meat or chicken fillet all the time. I put a maximum of 300 g of meat / fillet at a time (the instruction allows). The blender grinds in just a few seconds. For 2-3 passes, you can grind a kilo of meat.

Now I don't use the meat grinder from the combine at all, because I like cutlets from the blender more. I "invented" my own recipe for blender cutlets and learned how to fry them so that the guests at the birthday said they were perfect.

It is very easy to wash the chopper after minced meat. I have a Philips 7605 harvester with a 1.5 bowl, so I don't mince in it! Because it takes a long time to scrape the leftovers of meat and wash it for a long time. And the chopper once or twice ... and already washed

So - why do you need a meat grinder? Buy a hand blender with an iron leg (!!!), a 0.5 l chopper (optimal size) and a nozzle for making mashed potatoes. A whisk is optional.

UPD

I looked at blenders with potato masters. The Philips 1618 has a very small shredder (0.35 l), you can only put 120 g of meat in it. Therefore, the ideal option is Kenwood HB724, which has a normal 0.5 liter chopper. In it (according to the instructions) you can put 250 g of meat.
