Fish soup with cream

Ingredients

Small white fish 2 pcs.
300-400 g
Shrimp 10-12 pcs.
Water (chicken or fish broth) 1-1.2 l
Thick cream 100-150 ml
Bulb onions 1 PC.
Carrot 1 PC.
(a piece)
Cherry tomatoes 5-6 pcs.
Garlic 1-2 teeth
Potatoes 3-4 pcs.
Fresh greens 1 tbsp. l.
Vegetable oil 1/2 tbsp. l.
Butter (ghee) 1/2 tbsp. l.
Salt, spices taste

Cooking method

  • Cut the onion, tomatoes in half, grate the carrots on a coarse grater, crush the garlic with a knife, potatoes into pieces.
  • Cut the fish into medium-sized portions.
  • Heat butter (vegetable + butter) in a frying pan.
  • Put onions, carrots, tomatoes, garlic, spices - fry until half done.
  • Transfer vegetables to a saucepan, add potatoes, water (broth) and simmer until potatoes are tender.
  • Add fish, shrimp, cream, herbs - let it boil and simmer for a few minutes until the fish is ready. Taste and salt.
  • When serving, add a pinch of green onions to the finished soup.

Note

I used water for the soup, a mixture of vegetable and ghee.

It turned out to be a very tender, not fatty soup with fish and shrimps, pleasant to the taste.

And it prepares very quickly!
