Regarding yeast-free bread, I answered in another thread.

Girls please tell me
Baking bread on water and everything worked out great. Then my friend gave me a 3-liter jar of buttermilk, I began to add it instead of water, and surprises began right away
I follow the rules of the kolobok, but the bread will rise badly, then the crumb is damp, it seems to me. And today it did not rise and it turned out to be cool, although I tried to bake with raisins according to the recipe, hung out on the scales, dried the raisins and rolled them in flour. What is the error I don't understand?
I even took into account the weather conditions, we have been pouring rains for a month now (the flour is noticeably harder to sow).
Maybe buttermilk has some special properties?

Hello everyone! I really want to buy a stove, but I can't make a choice: help, please. I hesitate between Scarlet SL-1525 and Scarlet SC-400, I want to bake yeast-free bread, but in Scarlet SL-1525 there is no such program and the reviews about Scarlet SL-1525 are not very good. Who can, tell me, please. I really hope for your help.

I have a 1525 stove. But I am a beginner baker and there is nothing to compare with. But I like her. The only thing is that there is no function of rye bread, but this is not a problem. You can bake on another program. And the heating button is not very clear to me, but the girls write that you can bake with this program. I haven't tried it yet.

There are not a lot of specialists here, more and more "amateurs". Better go to Admin (Tatiana), no one can help her better. Try to consult here:

We have already written about this button, I will quote it again:

I already wrote before about the bad translation in the instructions. For example program 12 in Scarlet 400 called "heating", and in Scarlet 401 - "bakery products"!!! It seems to be a trifle, but how many misunderstandings !!!
In addition, in the table of the running time of the programs after the end of baking, it is indicated: in Scarlet 400 - "keep warm for 60 minutes", and in Scarlet 401 - "maintaining the temperature for 1 hour". In the instructions to Scarlet 401 (page 9) clearly states: "after the completion of cooking, the bread maker automatically switches to the mode of maintaining the temperature for 60 minutes.", and in the instructions for Scarlet 400 unfortunately it is not specified.
That is, after the end of the program, the bread will be hot for another 60 minutes. But this does not mean that it does not need to be removed, on the contrary, it is necessary, since during this time it will become damp.
Although this is not about your HP, I think you will understand.

Scarlett Bread Maker

Hello owners of our Skarlushi. Once again I want to share my experience in baking rye bread, proportions of wheat and rye flour 60 gr. and 340 gr. respectively. In my opinion, the result is not so bad. Indeed, before, even with a higher content of wheat flour than rye, my bread collapsed the roof.According to my observations, the whole thing was in flour, I bought rye flour from another manufacturer and the result began to please, the bread was already obtained with a normal top. And so I decided on bread almost entirely from rye flour alone. I baked in 2 modes: first, mode number 9 (dough), then let the dough rise for another 20 minutes, and then turned on the baking mode (number 12) for 60 minutes. And then for another 20 minutes. Here is the result. What do you think?
Tomorrow the bread will cool down and you can take a picture of it in a cut. The weight of the hot one turned out to be 771 grams, the height of the bun is 9 cm. Tomorrow I will weigh it again, already cooled down.

Tell me later how it tastes. And show a photo of the section

very good-looking bread, similar to Borodino. Then give pzhl the whole alignment of ingredients, or better with a separate recipe, so as not to get lost in the feed of the forum. THX.

This is how the photo of the cooled bread promised, on which the weight and cut are visible. The crumb is slightly damp to the touch. It tastes sweet, since honey and raisins are added to the dough besides sugar. It resembles small buns of brown bread in the store, in our city it is called "Boyarsky with raisins".
When baking on setting number 12, the crust turned out to be normal, not thick. Even when I took out the bread, I was surprised that the crust was softer than usual before.
As for the recipe, I will share with pleasure, but I will do it for the first time and I have no idea how to do it. Can you tell me where to start?
natsik
It seems to have succeeded in creating a recipe. The bread is called Rye-wheat bread in Scarlett-400

I have 1525 heating button (baking function - program 12) baked rye bread for this program and the result satisfied me.
P.S turned off the light, somewhere on the forum I read that someone was bothering so, well, I decided to try. Since the dough in the oven has already come up and it would be unreasonable to start the whole cycle again.
So now I will use this function more actively.

Quite right, you must either press the "+" several times to make up to 60 minutes. catch up, or 1 time for "-", then the same baking time of 60 minutes will be set.

Good day to all! I need the advice of experts, I bought a Scarlett SL-1525 oven, there is such a suspicion that there was no kneading paddle in the kit, there was some kind of "pin" sticking out, on one side slightly beveled, no more than 2 cm. just its size, what can it mix? It seems that I need to put this spatula on top of it ?? When I turn it on, it hums, but nothing moves and does not mix, what should I do now? I bought it at METRO, and already more than 2 weeks ago, they will not change it for sure if that ... I'm waiting for your tips, Thank you!

Try to contact the service center, sometimes they bring an inoperative device and the component parts remain, maybe they have such a stirrer and grab your bucket, suddenly they will be offered to try it on from another stove.

Does anyone already have an updated model 400 with 16 programs? I looked at the instructions on the manufacturer's website, for some reason the main program became even shorter. She was already not very long compared to the same Panasonic. Right now I am racking my brains in choosing. In fact, I immediately leaned towards Panasonic 2501, but the stove is quite expensive and you won't be able to buy it right away. And then (probably with the update of the Scarlett 400 model) we threw out the old model with 12 programs at a very cheap price. So we are thinking now, maybe for a break-in of skill, we can take this model right now (then it will go to the dacha) or still not spoil the first impression of the bread machine (if it is suddenly not of sufficient quality).

Hello everybody
Six months ago my Scarlett bucket broke down, we thought the motor wouldn't turn, but this is a play in the bucket, well, everything is as usual. Nobody bothered with a new bucket? maybe from some kind? While I mix in a small one and bake in a round shape right in a bucket, but this is not at all the same
Scarlett Bread Maker Scarlett Bread Maker

the service said that they do not sell buckets, because Scarlet herself does not provide buckets with a guarantee, that is, initially there are no guarantees for them. And in general, I am less and less this company, a coffee grinder, also did not live a year and refused to repair, they referred to the fact that you've probably used it for more than 30 seconds.
sazalexter

I will continue. I finally decided to take 400. We decided not to chase the expensive Brand yet, but to try what kind of device it was, whether it would take root in the family at all. We decided to buy at the weekend, but today I looked in the store in passing and saw this model alive. To be honest, in confusion. I saw her more and more on sites in large drawings and she seemed impressive to me. And then ... If outside still all right, then the bucket seemed to me Lilliputian at all, now I'm not so sure of my choice ... So I think for a family of 4 people (2 second-grade girls) if this device is not too small , and whether it will be necessary to double the amount, and in the case of Panasonic - to triple and even with a half.
Bear
Greetings to all owners of Scarlett bread makers!
I bought it! 400 model, somehow I liked this little one in a white version more, although there was also a 1525 model. For six months she walked like a cat near sour cream, said: "Honey, how many bread machines can you have in the house?" Only these girls and boys will understand me

Sobsno I bought it to bake small bread. Yesterday I baked the first simple bread of 1 grade flour for 500 grams on a medium crust on the main mode. There is nothing to photograph.
What can I say, I'm happy as an elephant! It turned out to be good, it kneads briskly, although the kneading mode is somehow unusual, the crumb is very even, it was kneaded very well, and most of all I liked the fact that all the loaf was evenly browned, and the roof was all tanned too.
I also note that, compared to my Kenwood, the rise of the dough is still lower, and although I simply removed 1/3 of the amount of products from the verified recipe from Kenwood (by 750 g), the bread turned out to be denser, which, in principle, suits, since we have no one does not like the cotton-foam structure of bread, we always bake denser.
I have not yet understood why there is such an effect, or because the "main" program is shorter than in my other oven by 20 minutes and I have to try, for example, the French program, or the fact is that a different mixing mode and gluten develops differently.
In short, so many things to do, now play and play

And this depends on how much bread you eat in your family. For example, a bun of 750 grams is eaten for a week, and in a stove with a bucket of up to 1 kg I don't like how bread about 500 grams is obtained, that's why I bought myself this little one so that it would be fresh more often.
Yes, and this .. and besides Panasonic you have a bigger form, isn't there anything on sale. Even the Scarlet 401 model has a 1 kg bucket. There are also other budget models for training.

As for our choice, we now have a big discount on the 400th Scarlet. The nearest non-brand model will be twice as expensive per kilogram. As for the scarlet, so far only the size is confusing, but again, I have not seen bread from it in real life. How much does a standard shop tram weigh? After all, probably less than a kilo, and we almost never buy a whole one, so maybe Scarlet will be enough ...
I'm bearish, but in terms of the noise of the batch, how would you rate your purchase?

Thank you!
To be honest, I have not read the instructions yet and have not studied the recipes.
I always bake this recipe
White bread
300ml water
450g flour 1s
1 tbsp. l rast. oils
1 tsp, l salt
2 tsp Sahara
1 tsp dry yeast. I get a loaf of about 720 g Main program in Kenwood 3h10 min

If I want gray bread (as with a 15 kopeck scoop), then I replace part of the flour with rye, usually 70-80 g of rye flour and 380-370 g of flour 1c.

In Scarlet, I just cut this amount by 1/3, but I'm telling you that here the program is shorter - 2h48min was set to 500g.
It should also be noted such a moment - probably we sell flour of a slightly greater strength, since I see the girls here pour only 260-270 ml of water for 450 g of flour, for flour in our area it will be almost dough on dumplings, at least 300 ml I take, so you should always look at the bun.

And about the size of bread in a scarlet-400. 750 g is more than enough. We have a standard loaf of tin bread in the store weighs 650 g. If your family is satisfied with 1 loaf, then the size of a scarlet loaf will be enough for you. It's just that many families eat a lot of bread and bake a lot. Although there are topics where a family of 6 people get by with a stove with a 900g form. In my opinion, I read the topic about Binaton 1168.

RS. By the noise of the batch :))) After Kenwood, any stove will seem like a whisper. I didn't see or hear Panasonic, but my Kesha is like a tank. And here the engine works a little quieter of course.

Many are afraid of non-brand models. My opinion is that the result depends more on hands and creativity. I also tried to bake bread in a more than budget oven Supra -350 and the result was no worse. I also took her to play with as a gift, tested before that, so she has been working for herself for a year soon.

So we first fell ill with Panasonic nevertheless decided to start with a promotional model that was not at all expensive, but there it will be seen. I bear with you, but how much flour is taken on average for a 750-gram bread. Or more precisely: what is the maximum amount of flour that can be loaded into this oven?

yuryd, judging by what the girls-experienced owners of Scarlet-400 write in this thread, more than 450 gr. flour (and this is approximately a loaf of 700 grams) can rest against the lid, the height of the loaf still depends on the yeast, the temperature of the ingredients. You can make a brick for 800 grams, but if the yeast and products are lukewarm and fresh, then I think the dough from more than 450 grams of flour will climb over the edge.
but I have not yet made bread for 750 gr. On the weekend I will play, and then give out to everyone

Comparing the instructions of the 400 and 401 models, I drew attention to the duration of the main and French baking modes. With the same weight of bread, the difference is 1 hour. What does that mean? I read that it takes more time to make bread normally. So in 400 the main program for 500 grams is 2:20, and in 401 - 3:13. This is probably not very good. Who has any ideas on this score?
Omela
yuryd , program names are relative concepts. I bake all wheat in the French mode, weight 750 g, even if the bread is 500 g. The bread maker is a tool that your hands and head control. The main difference between 400 and 401 is the ability to bake larger bread in the latter.

In my model, a scarlet 400 in the main mode on a medium crust on a loaf of 500g was set for 2h48 minutes (not 2-20, this is very little), for 750g it was set for 2h 50 minutes. I didn't look at the tables. But in the French mode, by typing, I saw the time in the region of 3 hours and 20 minutes.
On the French mode, the time is always longer in any oven, and the French grain is not very different, it has a fluffier crumb and a crispier crust. In Kenwood 450, the French program is 3 hours 40 minutes, that is, 30 minutes longer than the main one. By the way fr. bread is not for everybody, we, for example, do not particularly favor such bread. I tried it, only fresh is good, and for a week of storage (like in our family) no French crust will remain crispy, and the toasts from it turn out worse than from the usual, for some reason I do not brown. In our family, we don't eat today's hot bread at all, only yesterday's and toasted bread in a toaster.

I read and read about Panasonic, it seems to be shown to be acquired by lovers of fresh French bread that they eat every day on a loaf.
yuryd
I wanted to focus not on the difference between the main and French modes (the last one for a longer time I already understood), but on the difference in the duration of the same modes in 400 and 401 models. For example, French at 400 is 2 hours 30 minutes. At 401 the same 3 hours 30 minutes, but when setting the crust "quickly" the same 2 hours 30 minutes. So I think that in the 400th all the accelerated modes are obtained. This is probably not good. And someone can compare these models with each other. We have, in principle, the difference in price between them is not so big and about 17 dollars. Maybe 401 is better in all respects?

The difference in programs is only instead of "Dessert" in 400 - "Gluten-free" in 401. In the descriptions on some sites it is written that in 401 there is a program "Rye". Is that Gluten Free?

Rye according to all the rules - this is without double kneading. Ie. kneading, pause during which this dough comes up and bakery products. And what the manufacturers and translators had in mind. If there is no specialist in rye, then you can bake it in manual mode, it's okay.

Only those who have them can compare these 2 stoves. Definitely, theoretically, I'm better off with long modes, so I bake in fr. all or almost all.
