Do you need to buy some special rice?

Natasha, I read somewhere - I don't remember exactly ... I studied the question ... But it didn't come in handy - mine categorically don't want ...

Rice should be quite sticky, but not turn into porridge when cooked. The best for rolls are considered to be round-grain varieties without chips and breaks, white (not transparent!). The seeds should be about the same size.
Round grain rice absorbs a large amount of liquid during cooking and contains a lot of starch. And in the process of cooking it becomes soft and sticky. Of the domestic varieties, they said that round Krasnodar rice is suitable (similar to the Japanese varieties Nishiki and Kahomai). In the Primorsky Territory, an elite variety of rice is grown - "Fushigon" - we have not seen this

It seems like parboiled rice cannot be used. Jasmine or Basmati will not work either. And it should be fresh (in terms of shelf life)

Something like this...

I have this thing for rolls is not used. Why did you buy it?

Possibilities of using products.

Virgo, who has a cooling rack for baking Wizard? What can you say about her.
anna_k
optimist, I had it, but never used it. It turned out to be not quite that for me ...
1. Pulling out hot on plastic is somehow not ice, there is a large iron and wooden spatula.
2. For cooling the cake, I prefer the tescom tray with a crumb tray.
3. And for decoration there are teskom stencils, which are many times more compact.
I have a new product - an updated garlic. While not on sale, for sure in 2-3 months it will be in the joint venture.

The opinion is ambiguous, a new garlic with broader functionality (cleaning garlic, quick preparation of various herbs). But the upper part is loose, and in general the impression is much worse than from the catalog one.
I can do a video review a little later.

Hello girls! It caught fire with a mixer for whipping proteins. Is he really that good?
My hand blender doesn't beat well. But the mini-harvester Phillips (old man) with a plastic beater copes with the task amazingly. But I want a non-electrical device. I think the old Phillips will soon be there.
Thanks in advance for your reply!
Here they asked about maki and nigiri. I use it once a year (except me, no one eats sushi and rolls), but I still love these things. I make rolls. I wouldn't twist it with a mat. And then quickly and done. I generally used ordinary round rice. Maybe, of course, it tastes better with a good expensive one, but I did not notice the difference. First time I bought rice for sushi. So it was called. And then the usual round in a magnet near the house. Somewhere on the Internet I found a recipe for cooking rice for roddlers. Under the lid. Proportions and timing were good there. This is for gluing exactly. So that the rolls do not fall apart.
By the way, the recipe book says that you can make puffs, pancakes with filo, cutlets and semolina cakes. I recently got a book with recipes. I will experiment.
Made coconut bars in maki nigiri and t-bar. From all forms they got well, but first you need to lubricate with oil. The t-bar liked the way it was tamped. Maki nigiri has a looser consistency. But I really liked the size in maki-nigiri.

The mixer is good! And whips whites and cream very well! Gotta take

The mixer is gorgeous, in terms of whipping proteins, I have not a single electric one, in such a short period of time, it does not whip in peaks, but this mechanical one does.

Beat eggs on a biscuit. There were three small whole eggs plus sugar. Time is about two minutes. Well, yes, it was hard, but bearable. Maybe it's more difficult to beat the whites separately? ..

Girls! I am sure that many have Mikrokok. Need a thing? and how you use it

From time to time, distributors sell off accumulated stocks relatively cheaply

j @ ne
Vika, I have a small rectangular 500 ml in use, I fry the onion in it in the microwave - it turned out to be very convenient, I warm the berry with sugar for ice cream, but you never know, boil a couple of potatoes ... It can withstand high temperatures, it is easy to clean (especially in a dishwasher ). I suppose that the jugs of 500 and 1000 ml are convenient to use, they will bake a cupcake in a couple of minutes.
Mirabel
j @ ne, Evgeniya, jug on sale. Is 1 euro ok for him? or open tenders?
Elena17
Mirabel, Vika, 10 euros? Good price.

In a 1L jug, you can cook a lot - it turns out quickly and tasty (muffins, boiled pork, julienne, baked apples ...)

I want a jug for 10 euros! .... Let's get two!

Elena17, Elena, j @ ne, Evgeniya, Girly! Thank you so much!
Where do you get the recipes and cooking algorithm? Or do you invent it yourself?
j @ ne
Due to the lack of a stove, I often cook in a micron, so I pick up the time empirically, and the ideas of cooking are in the corresponding topic (about micra), and for girls offering these dishes, under the spoiler, they are usually dictated by a feeling of hunger.

Mirabel, Vika, here are some recipes:

Chocolate muffin in Mikrokuk

1. flour 6 tbsp. l.

5. milk 4 tbsp. l.
6.Egg 2 pcs.
7. softened butter (or melt) 4 tbsp. l.
8.vanillin 1/2 tsp

In a bowl, mix well the flour, cocoa powder, sugar and baking powder.
Add milk, egg, butter and vanillin. Mix everything until a homogeneous mass is formed (more convenient - with a silicone scraper).
Pour the mixture into a Mikrokok jug and put it in a 900 W microwave oven for about 3 minutes (until the cake is ready). The main thing is not to overexpose! Look in your microwave.
Shake out the finished cake on a plate, sprinkle with powdered sugar. Can be garnished with whipped cream.

Ylyashenk @, I constantly use it in summer-spring-autumn. Really like. With lemon, berries, leaves (currants, lemon balm, mint ...), with pieces of different fruits or just with juice (you can squeeze it right away, you don't need to get a special juicer) - I make myself different drinks. Pretty fast, always delicious.
Easy to clean. Pieces of fruit and berries do not interfere with drinking, do not get into the mouth, although you do not filter anything on purpose. The eco-bottle valve can be swiveled almost 180 degrees. It closes tightly, there is a strap. Large (24 cm high, 7.5 cm base diameter)? Here, of course, you decide. 700 ml - I'm fine. It does not look cumbersome.

Mirabel, Vika, but I use it constantly. We eat a little bread, I bake it myself.
I store the bread in a large bread bin in the refrigerator. Rye can be stored up to 3 weeks, whole grain - more than a week. I can't imagine how you can do without her

Greens and fruits are also well stored, and cheese, if there is a lot of it, is also good to keep there. For me, it's not just a used thing TW, but ALWAYS used. Never idle idle.

Girls! I'm with Mikrokuk again. Only today he will reach me, I hope.
can any cupcake be baked in it? or just some special types?
Elena17
Mirabel, Vika, you can do any - there are a lot of recipes

Here's a banana recipe:

Ingredients:
large ripe banana,
1 egg,
1 tbsp. a spoonful of granulated sugar
3 tbsp. tablespoons of flour
a pinch of cardamom and baking powder,
1 tbsp. a spoonful of butter
1 tbsp. a spoonful of sour cream.

The banana is divided into 2 parts. One half of it is cut into cubes, the other half is chopped with a blender or simply kneaded with a fork.
An egg is driven into the fruit puree, softened butter, sour cream, sugar are added. The mixture is stirred until smooth.
Flour with baking powder is sieved to liquid components. Put cardamom or any other spices to taste.
Banana cubes are placed in the finished mixed dough. The mass is poured into microcook
We put in the microwave.

Elena17, Elena, Lena! and how much to cook in a micron and at what power?
Elena17
Vika, look at your microscope - the main thing is not to overexpose! It will be dry.

If it's a very small portion, 3 minutes is enough. If I take a double portion, then 5 minutes. Power - 900 W

Since there will be no mikra - there will be no crispy crust - it will be pale. Cocoa gives a beautiful color. If the cake is not chocolate, then you need to either sprinkle with something, or decorate ...

Hope, in a compactus, the most polluted place is the top and the lid, but it is difficult to soak, it floats and it was not possible to completely immerse it in water with a solution. I did this: I filled the compactus about 2/3 with hot water, added ZOOM (Amway) to the water. But I think it's not important, you can pour any usual fat-dissolving agent. And further

do not laugh!

on top she put on, like a cap, a jug of Charm. It comes in tightly and holds well. And then with a sharp movement, very quickly turned it over, put the jug on the table. Kompaktus was in a jug "upside down". I poured hot water into a jug, added dishwashing detergent (amway) and left the whole structure for a day. It's easier with the lid, I soaked it in a bowl for a day. You can, of course, soak in some kind of large saucepan, but I have nothing so suitable. And the jug was on the table, it didn't take up much space. Then she took an Amvey metal sponge, it does not leave scratches and began to rub the surface of the compactus, first neatly, because grooves appeared, and then I realized that these are not grooves on the plastic, these are grooves in an oily film that covered the entire compactus in a thin layer. And I began to rub with all my heart. The very top was finalized with a toothpick, where the sponge did not reach. The result exceeded all expectations, the compact became silky to the touch. But with the lid it is more difficult, it is all "curly", so I rubbed more or less even places with a sponge, and otherwise a toothpick and hands. The lid was refined even later, when it dried out, white residues of dried oil appeared, but I pulled it out from everywhere. Apart from soaking, the whole process took less than an hour.
Perhaps there are simpler methods, I asked, but did not receive an answer.
