Also an option))) At work, there are a lot of such darts, but I want a device.

In general, you need to try them, suddenly it turns out to be extremely convenient.

Natalia, and if you take a syringe pen, well, the one that diabetics use? Probably there the needle is very thin ...
I looked at myself, there is a scraper from a pasta machine, on the one hand such a needle is good, but to pierce an egg, I don't know if it will be convenient.

Twig, Veta, the instructions for the egg cooker say - pierce! Once I got distracted and missed one thing - it burst and spread.

So that the shell does not crack. Even when I cook without an egg boiler, I also always pierce.

Nichosi. I didn't know. There is no egg cooker and is not planned. All my life I cooked unpunctured. I will continue in the old fashioned way. But with knowledge. Thank you
dopleta
Veta, the current should be pierced from the blunt side, where the film sac protects the egg itself.

and I do not pierce. ... There is an egg cooker, cooked in it and in a soup cooker to function as an egg cooker and in a saucepan, traditionally and so and so, pierced correctly according to science, but often 1 egg burst stupidly. Now I cook only in an egg cooker without piercing it, it happens very rarely that it bursts, but everything TTT is normal, therefore I made a conclusion for myself if / not if, but it can burst anyway, so why bother

I cook eggs straight from the refrigerator. Usually one bursts, occasionally two.The remaining 4-5 pieces (usually I cook 6 pieces) remain intact. And so that the protein does not leak out, I add some salt to the water.

And I was taken into account to boil eggs in salt water. Even if the egg bursts, it will not spread. Everything is civil. I didn't even hear about what needs to be pierced before cooking. I'll know.

I put the eggs in a bowl of hot water, let them stand for a while, then put them on a small fire and heat them slowly.

Not really, the protein still flows out a little, water gets inside and the egg is obtained with cavities.
nila
Live and learn ! So I first learned that eggs must be pierced when cooking.
I cook in a ladle, when immediately from the refrigerator, when they lie on the table. Knowing that it is necessary to salt water is cool, but I also do it every other time. As I remember!
Now I will know what to do and pierce

A couple of times a year we have a couple of pages of conversation about eggs.
I once (not very long ago) did not cook soft-boiled eggs and decided to bring them to condition in micr. The egg was half peeled.
It went crazy. Instead of enjoying coffee with a testicle, I had to jump soft-boiled next to the micra with rags until everything dried up

By the way, I also always fill it with hot water, but I set it to cook right away. Apparently that's why they don't burst into me.

Ilmirushka, it is possible not with the pen itself with a syringe, but a needle on plastic is inserted there, so it is quite possible for it, there is about 3 mm the length of the needle and the plastic itself is 3 cm. In the pharmacy, buy for the ACCU-CHEK Device. Comfortable to hold in hand for piercing. I am very happy with an egg cooker of a stalk for 8 eggs, I bought it at the same time when they brought a large tartlet maker in Comfort.

I cook eggs from the refrigerator in cold water, do not prick. After boiling, boil for 1 minute, turn off the heating, eggs are in a saucepan. After 10-20 minutes, I transfer them to cold water, as usual. The eggs are hard-boiled, not overcooked, sooo rarely one will crack (it will crack, but will not leak out!)
I have been using this method for several years, never let me down.

Well, the fact that eggs after boiling should be dipped into cold water, I think everyone knows that, I did not even consider it necessary to write it. But if the egg is completely fresh, only from under the quail, then cold water will not help either, they will still be poorly cleaned.

This has been empirically refuted. I, as a chronic sloth, also stopped putting them in cold water and made sure that this does not affect cleaning.

Igrig, my tablet started to stutter, it's getting old already ...!

nila, Nelya, there is nothing in Moscow from under the quotes!
As for cold water, and everyone knows I explain in detail:
In an electric egg cooker, the instructions are to pierce the eggs from the blunt end where the air gap is, then set the program: in a crumpled, in a bag and in a cool one.
For the salad, you need to turn on the 'cool' icon - put the relay, the blue light will light up and give a signal that it has turned on, then when it's boiled, the egg cooker will yell. At this moment, transfer the eggs to a bowl of cold water. Where there was a puncture through it, cold water itself falls between the egg itself and the shell (inside the egg it separates from the shell on its own) You will begin to clean and feel the water just under it! In this case, it is removed almost with a stocking, and not with stubs along with the rest of the egg!
This was also discussed for those who have an electric egg cooker. Earlier, too, in a ladle and an endless, hard-to-wash bottom of the eggs! Be mindful of examples and experiences.

I talked about electric, I don’t pierce, they clean well, even if they don’t put them in cold water at the end of cooking, but if they are fresh from the countryside, then at least pierce them, at least not, even put them in cold water, even though there is no result, they are poorly cleaned.
Quote: Sofita

I think this is superfluous, not all egg cookers have a light of this color
Ilmirushka
Sofita, I don `t need it
I have a glass with a needle that comes with an egg cooker, and I use it. And I offered the syringe, as an option, to those who do not have such a cup with a needle.
And yes, friends and comrades, I am a law-abiding citizen, it is written in the instructions to STICK, stab.
Still, cook in a ladle of water and in an egg cooker almost without water for a couple - things are a little different.
Note that it was just about boiling eggs not in water, but in an egg cooker, in which there is no way to use salt
nila
Quote: Sofita
Be mindful of examples and experiences.
Sofita, well, let's just say that we all share our life experience here! And we have the right to do so! And not only in this topic!
But there was absolutely no need to explain in such detail about the detailed cooking of eggs in an egg cooker, it is absolutely not interesting to me! As I boiled eggs in a ladle, on induction, I will continue to do so. And nothing bothers me at all in this process. And I don't need an egg cooker for nothing. I don't see any sense in stuffing my kitchen with gadgets I don't need. I'd rather buy myself an extra pot or some new, useful toy for me.
And the fact that you pointed out to me what was being discussed, so not only about the egg hand, they wrote here. And everyone knows about cold water, and about salt, But I don't see any reason for myself to add salt, and without salt they cook perfectly in a couple of minutes. And I put eggs in cold water not so that they are better cleaned, but in order to cool them faster. And to clean the matter for a minute, either after the egg cooker or after boiling in water.
Quote: Sofita
, and not with bits and pieces of eggs!
But this happens not because of where to cook, but because of how fresh this egg is! And it doesn't matter from under the quota it is or from the store tray.

At the same time, the yolk is not steep and crumbly, but tenderly creamy, very pleasant.
And I cook eggs without salt and vinegar. I throw a couple of toothpicks into the water and that's it - they don't burst or leak. Where the advice comes from and what kind of physics it is - I don't know, but it works.

Egg piercer
Scarecrow
There is an air chamber on the blunt side of the egg. Not a film bag or some other, but an air chamber)). It is separated from the rest of the egg by a dense film. This is really air - space and a container with air for the future chicken. When they hatch, the first thing they do is pierce the film into the air chamber and breathe. Then they break open the shell. But now is not about that. So that's it. About cracking eggs when boiling. The piercer really helps, but not 100%. When heated, the contents of the egg expand. But it can expand intensively in all directions and then the egg can burst anyway. But if you do not heat very quickly and aggressively, then the expansion goes as far as possible towards the least resistance - the air chamber (the shell is a much more powerful obstacle). The film separating the egg from the air chamber bulges out like a membrane and it pushes the air out. But the air, too, is not compressed indefinitely, and even heating goes on, and it also tends to expand - physics. Therefore, as a result, if there is no "valve" to relieve pressure, the shell breaks open. But if there is a punctured hole there, the air simply bleeds through it. You can even see how the egg lies in a ladle on the stove, the water heats up and tiny bubbles come from the blunt end.

I hope she explained it clearly)).
