Just yesterday I rubbed cottage cheese along with banana and butter on cookies. Rubbed on the shallow, rough side up. Cottage cheese was 800 grams plus 3 bananas and 300 grams of butter. I wiped it for 5-7 minutes, no more. Only the remnants of the stuck banana had to be thrown down like this, but it was already porridge too, only not as neat as after the sieve.

I tried to rub the cottage cheese on the large, smooth side. No result. After a few minutes of dancing around the car, I decided not to torture herself or her and did everything by hand. But he rubbed the lingonberries well on a shallow, rough surface

Well, then the blades need to be released lower. He rubs on the rough side due to the fact that it turns out a little higher. That's all.
The blades should not just touch the sieve, but be lowered a couple of millimeters lower, pressing tightly and even slightly bending, springing.

Don't torture yourself and Kesha. The smooth side is for sifting and the rough side is for wiping. There is not a word about cottage cheese in the instructions. In general, I see no reason to bother with the quality of cottage cheese - it is often different, even from one manufacturer, depending on the season. Wipe on the rough shallow side - and you will be happy. I rub this cottage cheese almost every day ...
And if you wipe on a smooth one, you will wipe it for a day ...

theme, Natasha, the best experience is personal experience. After buying the sieve, I wiped it as they wrote - on a large smooth one. then I tried on a large rough, then on a small one, etc. I decided for myself - it's more convenient for me to wipe the cottage cheese on a rough one, and small large, depending on the needs and the cottage cheese itself.

I really only tried it a couple of times and even pressed the blades
It is better to lower the nozzle itself a little, so that the blades are not perpendicular to the sieve, but at a normal angle, that is, they did not work for the squeeze, but for the puncture, if I explain clearly.
That is, imagine as if you are doing it with a knife. You are not pushing the food perpendicularly in different directions, but at a good angle, as it were, you put it into a sieve.

And I am very pleased with the cups of the multi-chopper! Now we don't buy mayonnaise at all!

Pour 100 ml vegetable oil into a chopper glass, add 1/2 tsp. sugar, 1/4 tsp. salt, 1 tsp. mustard, 1 large egg, a little pepper. I pour in 1 st... l. lemon juice (I buy it in a plastic bottle in the form of a yellow lemon). I put the glass in Kenwood's nest, mix for 10 seconds at the lowest speed (to mix), then gradually increase to 4-5 speeds. All mixing takes 1-2 minutes. Mayonnaise thickens immediately, does not want to fall out of the glass. The husband likes to add 3 cloves of garlic and 3-4 tablespoons to this mayonnaise. l. sour cream and smears this sauce on "everything that is edible." The amount of sugar-salt-mustard can be slightly changed later depending on your own taste. But first, make exactly the recipe.
Natusichka
Elena, are you even whipping mayonnaise at maximum speed?
I wish I could watch the video!

If anyone does, please shoot a video, ok?

I make mayonnaise at the moment only with a blender, I would very much like to see it in glasses.

I am also very pleased with these glasses, yesterday, for example, I made powdered sugar in a matter of seconds (in strawberry soufflé), it turned out very well! I didn't expect.
I grind the nuts to what state you need. Yes, whatever you want, if you need it in small numbers, it's just a miracle! And how did I do without them before? I'm very happy!

The shaft sizes are identical. The one on the left is finished goods, the one on the right is the spare part that fits both Bayonet and non Bayonet planet hubs.

My own personal recommendation would be to remove the circlip if fitting to a bayonet hub, (not an issue on a fold tool) but would avoid any potential tool jam on a dough tool.

I quote from google translator:

Shaft dimensions are identical. One on the left is a finished item, one on the right has a spare part that fits both bayonet and non-bayonet planetary hubs.

My personal recommendation would be to remove the retaining ring if appropriate to the bayonet hub, (not a problem on the instrument fold), but would avoid any possible jamming of the instrument on the test instrument.

In my opinion, it is quite understandable.

0.5 tsp mustard
1/4 tsp salt

Beat on high speed. After 15-18 seconds a very thick mixture was formed. She added 20 ml of 3% (7 ml -9% vinegar + 13 ml of water) vinegar and beat again.

And here mayonnaise did not take root from 100% olive oil. Very intense taste. If we take the aromatic oil of the first pressing, then it turns out very "poisonous". I make from tasteless "neutral" sunflower and add olive. I don’t measure out the oil - I pour it until the consistency is desired. Mustard, salt and lemon juice to taste.
I make mayonnaise with a food processor (I have AT 640)

Well, you can't pour a thin stream into a mini chopper. However, there everything whipped up all together and at once

But in a mini grinder, you cannot adjust the density ...
Eggs are different, and so is the butter.
In short - everyone chooses for himself

Natusichka, can I get in? if the liquid does not thicken, then only the difference in the temperatures of the mixtures. eggs and butter d. b. the same temperature! this is the key to any mayonnaise. you can even whisk it with a whisk if you wish

however, the shredder fails
and I make mayonnaise with an immersion blender, it's easier

For me, these attachments are a waste of money.

Saving time for us.
When suddenly arriving guests watch in amazement how the salad is made while they sit down at the table, it is worth a lot.
Well, if there is nowhere to rush, of course manually is better and more economical ...

Here, I found my potato peeler, like - https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/in...n=com_smf&topic=27659.140
It turns out that this is A934, it does not fit my Keshka in height, so it is for the Chefs.
I would also understand why the juicer didn't get up. It is on the same link - A995, they seem to write that it is suitable for both Chefs and Majers.
Maybe it's something wrong with my hands?
kseniya D
Irina, The juicer must fit all machines. See the configuration of the machine seat and the attachment itself.
Haripurkh
It was very interesting for me to read in this thread who and how uses attachments on the Kenwood food processor. Much was frankly surprised, especially opinions about the almost complete uselessness of attachments and the boundless belief that doing many processes with your own hands is safer and more economical.

I have had a Kenwood Major Titanium combine for about two years now. During this time, I got so used to it that not a day passes without me using one of the attachments, and sometimes several :)

I will say right away about all the attachments, which I will describe below, that their quality of work suits me by all 150%: high quality, quickly, with a predictable positive result. All attachments are very easy to care for, usually I wash almost all parts in the dishwasher at 50 degrees.

1. Main nozzle - 6.7 liter capacity:
- with a whisk for meringues, whipping cream, creams and generally for mixing relatively liquid mixtures, like for pancakes;
- with K-shaped nozzle for mashed potatoes, high-quality mixing of vegetable and legume mince, as well as for churning aromatic and very tasty homemade butter from homemade cream (it copes with 3 liters of cream in 7-12 minutes, depending on the temperature of the cream);
- with hook for kneading dough of any consistency, even the densest, with bran and whole grains;
- with soft rubber attachment to obtain oily substances (cream, curd mass for syrniki, dough for non-quit and charlottes);

2. Meat grinder performs the role of a vegetable cutter, prepares a curd mixture for casseroles, perfectly fills various sausages;

3. Heat-resistant glass blender ideal for making smoothies, puree soups, vegetable and fruit mixtures for ice cream and sorbet, for puree juices, milkshakes and mayonnaise (even a small amount of this sauce);

4. Grits mill generally my favorite! Thanks to her, we stopped buying all types of flour, their grains and legumes, and we consume a lot of these products, since we are vegetarians and I myself bake yeast-free bread and various dishes from flour, buckwheat, oats, wheat, chickpeas, mung bean, lentils, peas, barley and other types of grain. By the way, in this mill it is forbidden to grind all oily grains, nuts, especially sugar. In the process of work, the metal millstones get very hot and simply bake the oils and sugar. Thanks to the mill, any bran and any flour I have is always fresh.

5. Berry grinding attachment it is used only as a sieve for flour obtained in the mill. I sow a lot of flour at once to separate the bran.

6. Citrus press attachment irreplaceable in winter! We take oranges in bulk and enjoy a wonderful juice every morning. There is no juice left in the remaining skins; it is important to press the orange tightly to the tip.

7. Universal shredder works for me every day! Sauces with herbs and sun-dried tomatoes, chopping spices and salt in small portions, powdered sugar, ginger root, nuts, etc.

8. Juicer - centrifuge I have never failed with almost any fruit or vegetables: carrots, beets, apples, celery, pumpkin, potatoes. Depending on ripeness and juiciness, we sometimes skip the cake again. Then you get the maximum juice. By the way, the cake makes a delicious candy in the Ezidri dryer :) or just a preparation for the winter in the form of dry carrots.

9. Freezer came to us a year later than the whole combine. We have never regretted buying it. If you follow the recipe and all proportions, you get an absolutely delicious curd-fruit sorbet, creamy yoghurt ice cream. The maximum cooking time for desserts is 30 minutes. Then you can put the ice cream in the freezer for 1-2 hours, if you want to form beautiful ice cream balls :)

10. Food processor absolutely irreplaceable as a regular grater for any vegetables, cheeses, cabbage shredders, cartotel slices for chips, as well as a blender for grinding any dried fruits (dates, prunes, dried apricots, cherries, raisins), nuts and fruits for making energy bars, baking mass with particles of fruits and nuts, paste for marshmallow and other similar processes;

In the near future we are planning to buy an attachment for cutting into cubes, since we very often prepare various salads and a cubed shape would be very useful.

I also think that you can do without some attachments. I very actively use a 5 kg high-speed grater. shred cabbage in half an hour. I cut 2 kg for French fries. potatoes faster than the pan can heat up. For Uzbek pilaf, I also rub carrots on a fine grater for fries. Thicker onions. The whole process takes 5-10 minutes. Carrots for Korean and all kinds of salads. I can't imagine how to make dumplings, khinkali or pasties without a dough sheeter. I use the cube cutter less often. But it also perfectly cuts carrots, beets, onions and pickles. She turns potatoes and eggs into mashed potatoes. For everything else, there is a meat grinder, chopper, hand blender, citrus juicer. So three attachments are enough for me. They are salvation for my sick hands.

Girls question: did anyone take Kenwood scales? in the catalog there are for 3490 and 6990, I understood they are the same, they differ only with an elastic band on top, right? Does it make sense to overpay for it? They are bribed by the fact that you can weigh up to 8 kg, it is very convenient during the harvesting period.
Belka13
Svet99lana, I had these included with a kitchen machine. I wouldn't buy it like that - it is too expensive, you can find scales no worse, but cheaper. Instead of an elastic band, you can put any silicone mat and reset them so as not to pay so much.

Miranda, I measured my scales - dimensions 17x22 cm, height about 1.8 cm. The rubber pad adds a few mm. The CR2032 battery is a flat round. The cover is convenient in that it has recesses with a diameter under the bowl of the kitchen machine - suitable for both conventional CM and induction models. It can be removed. In general, scales are like scales, nothing special. I haven’t changed the battery for two years, but I have only been using them for the last six months, I’m waiting for it to run out. They slow down a little, the difference in the weight of the products is sometimes several grams.

I bought a soufflake, flour interferes with the biscuit - it's just a miracle, the dough does not settle at all. One problem, out of 4 eggs, the entire top is already in the dough. I have a small bowl. In principle, 4 is enough for me, but to wash all the cracks from above, I'm afraid that the grease will get into the dough and vice versa (((((((. And I'm so happy with this thing just mmmmm.

Girls, do you need a nozzle - a potato peeler or a waste of money?
I have this potato peeler, it gathers more dust on the shelf than it is used. Normally it only cleans young potatoes, and then the eyes and green spots must then be manually cleaned and the potatoes should be even, round, small in size. And old potatoes, or even more so from their own garden, are poorly peeled. Then you have to clean everything up and gouge out the eyes. Clean faster with your hands.

Girls, almost completely disappointed in the wiper nozzle, but there is only hope for you. I bought it a long time ago, but I can't use it, it's lying. First that year I rubbed the apples, pressed (hard) on my head, then I could not take out the blades, I had to drag them to the service center (not easy). She put it aside. Today I decided to rub the raspberries with my hands for a long time. I put in the blades, began to close - it does not close, but I can not remove the nozzle again, but I succeeded, took it off, uh. I tried to close without blades - it does not close, I had to wipe all the raspberries by pressing the head of the combine with one hand. In addition, the sieve rusts, called stainless steel.
