Pie with apples, raisins and currant jelly

Ingredients

Dark raisins 60 g
Rum 2 tbsp. l.
Flour 250 g
Sugar 100 g
Salt pinch
Butter 125 g
Large eggs (yolk) 2 pcs.
Red currant jelly 4 tbsp. l.
Apples 600 g

Cooking method

  • We sort out the raisins, wash them and soak them in rum.
  • Sift flour, add sugar, salt, butter, cut into pieces. We chop everything to a state of crumb. Add the yolks and knead everything well. We line a form with a diameter of 24 cm with dough, making a side. We remove the form with the dough in the refrigerator.
  • Wash the apples, peel them, cut them into 4 pieces. Remove the core and cut into slices.
  • We take out the form with the dough. We coat the dough with 2 tbsp. l. jelly. We spread the apples, sprinkle with raisins on top.
  • Cover the hot cake with the remaining jelly.

Time for preparing:

We bake for 40 minutes.

Cooking program:

We heat the oven to 200 C.

Note

A very light pie with a delicate aroma of apples and "drunken" raisins.

Can currant jelly be replaced with currant jam?
Sure you may. For me, for example, the main thing is that the jam and jam are sour.

And if the apples are sour?
The pie, however, deserves attention!
I really like this one! And there is red currant jam, and apples with raisins.
All that remains is to finish the existing pear pie ...
