Tell me, pliz, is the door fixed on your machines in the open position? Ariston's door seems to be fixed, but Beko does not
I choose between BEKO DIN5830 and Ariston LFT321. What's better?

In my BEKO, the door is perfectly fixed when open. And half-open, too. And just a tiny crack can be left with a gap (to ventilate the inside of the car)
I looked at Ariston. Nice ... Only the price on the Market is from 23 to 25 thousand: o Round! For this money, you can pick BOSCH! This Ariston is clearly not a "low-budget" option!
Yes, you can endlessly carry on these conversations! And I can choose according to the principle "I want to, I can" ....

In Ufa, in "Mir" this Ariston is 22 thousand so far (in the rest - 26 already), Beko only in the same "Mir" is 16.4 thousand. And we have Bosch below 30, and nowhere else. -My (before the new year was 25) ..: - / Therefore, the choice between these 2 models: Ariston is a little more sophisticated, the manufacturer is better known, the buttons, the control panel is metal (not plastic), but more expensive, Beko is simpler slightly, but cheaper (and if they become more expensive, then I will stay without PMM, probably ..). Ariston also has interesting programs - combined, that is, for example, at the same time a delicate wash in the upper basket and an intensive wash in the lower one.
By the way, I took a special look at non-built-in Beko models, the door really opens easily and is fixed in any position, but for the built-in one for some reason .. They say that these doors are regulated, but like all manufacturers? Sellers could not answer anything about this ..
And, in general, it seemed to me that the lineup of ordinary PMM Beko models is newer than the built-in ones.

But how to load it if it slams all the time? Even if the lower basket is pulled out, the door slams, rolling the basket back. I think if there are dishes in the basket, they will still slam shut (they are not so heavy - the dishes). Or hold the door with one hand, make up the dishes with the other? ..
Tanyusha
Mary_ufa, where did you see such a machine that the door would slam? When I was looking for so many cars, they reviewed and not one slammed, though I looked at the stand-alone ones, I don't know about the installation.
Boo Boo
Yes, I have never seen this either. Usually the door opens completely, there are no springs there. I believe that no fixation is needed. There should be three positions - fully closed (used when washing dishes and while storing dirty dishes); closed but not latched (used when there are no dishes in the dishwasher, and this is very rare); completely open (used to load dishes). Why something should be recorded, I do not understand.
Cake
BooBoo, I get it. that the girl is alarmed that there is no way to leave the door in the "fully open" position and calmly load the dishes. She explains that even with the bottom box extended, the door closes, rolling the box back up. I also looked through dozens of PMs. until I bought it myself. but nowhere have I seen such an outrage.Really, do you want to hold the door with your foot while placing the dishes ?? !!
Most likely, there was a marriage in the window. There are no other versions.
Mary_ufa, buy something soon! And it’s true, prices will rise and instead of PM buy "Fairy Hand Balm"
MaDaMa
I read and read, barely understood what was the matter. I have a BOSCH, there are no problems with this opening, I opened it and load yourself, whatever, the door is open and is not going to close, with the box NOT POSITIONED.
Alice
Mary_ufa

I understand that these are built-in dishwashers? If this is so, then until you hang the facade on the door, it will slam shut, and then no longer. It was like this for a year, while they ordered a new kitchen ... Why don't only sales assistants know about this?
Boo Boo
Well, that's the answer to the question. Mary_ufa, thanks for clarifying the situation.
Serko
I want to stand up for compact dishwashers - pans will fit in them. Worried that the wok - a healthy cast iron with a handle span of 50 cm - could not fit without problems. I took Electrolux 2440, but did not include it on the sink yet. I didn’t have time to buy salt, but the instructions explicitly say that the salt must be loaded at the first start. This is to keep the resin in the salt solution between launches and recover.
In general, there are different opinions about replacing the special salt with the usual one. The essence of the use of salt is the restoration of ion-exchange resin, which, when filled with tap water, absorbs calcium, giving up sodium, and when rinsing with a salt solution, gives off calcium, taking sodium back. And some impurities can interfere with this process. In one place, people wrote that iron salts gradually kill the tar. They also warned against the use of iodized salt.
The most interesting thing is that you can't just check the "kill" of the resin. It's just that PMM will wash worse, that is, some of the detergent will go to binding calcium. So the statements "I have been using regular salt for several years and everything is in order" do not mean anything. Maybe soft water, maybe a lot of product is put in.
In Moscow, by the way, the average water in the north is softer than in the south.
On one of the forums I met:

For South Administrative District / South-West Administrative District = 6.7-12.9 dH (German degrees).
Lydia
The second day I feel like a white person, since the dishes are mainly washed by the machine. Happy until I lose my pulse! We bought Electrolux ESF 43010 (width 45 cm), because the intra-family financial crisis did not allow more. Having removed the lid, they put it under the countertop (before that, my husband had been doing magic in the kitchen for a week, sawing, throwing out, rearranging and fixing), and since last Thursday I am a WOMAN, not a DISHWASHER. During the year that I passionately dreamed of PMM, I read so much about it (and in the week that my husband spent on rebuilding the kitchen, I almost learned the instructions by heart) that I acted quite confidently, and the family looked at me with respect. (At least I want to think so.) So far, I have continuous emotions; probably, as I get used to, I can say something to the point.
natalka
And most importantly, it washes in a way you can never wash with your hands!
Lydia
Probably, almost all newcomers go through the stage that we now have: my everything.

I especially recommend washing all the crystal (salad bowls, glasses), if there is one on the farm. You will be pleasantly surprised
Lydia
I don't have crystal, but in connection with the appearance of the PMM, I had to get a bunch of dishes from the stocks, which I washed with great pleasure.

I can imagine what my mother will say to me when she finds out about the dishwasher ... For some reason she takes all the equipment I buy with hostility - except for the washing machine (since she is happy to carry my laundry to the wash).

Hello. please tell me why colored stains are formed on transparent plates and how to deal with it
sazalexter
1Try to reduce the amount (dosage) of rinse aid
2 Refuse "pills" 3-in-one
marakunina
Please tell me if it is possible to mix products from different manufacturers. For example, use Calgonit powder at the same time and Somat salt with rinse aid? The instructions do not say anything about this, but you never know ...
Mams
marakunina, I used Somat salt, and CrystalFix powder. The flight is normal. I think that the powder and rinse aid, in theory, should be of the same company - they come into contact with the dishes in turn. But salt - it's all the same here, it was invented for another
dopleta
I think that the manufacturer strongly advises using only his own funds solely for his own benefit. I have been using salt, powder, and rinse aid for a long time - no problem.
Doremi
dopleta, do you use salt all the time? ??? I just saw that you are from St. Petersburg, and our water is already soft, so I thought that salt was not needed at all. Correct me, otherwise I'm a PMM-player recently. If you know, what is the stiffness coefficient in St. Petersburg?
sazalexter
Salt is a must !!! Otherwise, the regeneration process of the ion exchange filter will not take place! In St. Petersburg, set the salt regulator to a minimum and the rinse aid is also tested empirically and then by inquiries on the internet (answered from the Research Institute of Chemistry of St. Petersburg State University, not sure but it looks like)
Regarding the powder and rinse aid of different companies: tried and so, the result is the same (Powder is an alkali and a small amount of soft abrasive plus a surfactant, and the rinse aid is acid (mixture))
Hardness in water is not as terrible as dissolved iron, more precisely, rust that settles on the walls of the PMM could not find how to deal with it

In St. Petersburg, the water is one of the softest waters in the world (more precisely, the waters of the Neva are the second in the world in terms of softness, the first place belongs to the tributaries of the Amazon River, where, by the way, the Neons aquarium fish - big lovers of soft peat water - are found in their native habitat).

Quite right, even all the PM masters here, in St. Petersburg, advise to add salt only one - the first - time. My first machine worked perfectly for 14 years without salt, and the second has been plowing for 2 years without problems.

I would like to know how a family of 3-4 people manages to turn on the 45 cm wide PMM only once a day. Little do they cook? On weekdays, as a rule, do they not have dinner at home? Are some of the dishes that could be loaded into the PMM washed by hand? There are three of us now: my husband and I and an adult daughter. Everyone eats ONLY at home. On average, it turns out that I load the dishwasher 3 times in 2 days. But as soon as I cook something tastier and more time-consuming (and thus dirtying more dishes), I have to turn it on 2 times a day. Since with my hands I now only wash what cannot be shoved into a typewriter. Someone wrote that one large pot can be washed by hand. And since I HATE washing large pots, I put them in the PMM. Probably, I'm lazy or haven't played enough of my new "toy" yet. But so far I am not tired of loading the PMM, and then taking out the clean dishes.

I have a family of 6 people turn on the PMM 45 cm 1 time a day, because in the morning only breakfast is 6 cups and in the evening dinner, the dishes are just obtained for 1 load of the machine, and on weekends I have to turn it on 3 times.

Lydia, we have your situation completely. There are three of us, too, my husband and I and an adult daughter. Mine in a full-size (60 cm) dishwasher 2 times a day for sure. There are three. I love to cook very much. I cook for everyone and everything, breakfast and lunch with me for both husband and daughter. While they are at work and school during the day I cook dinner and pastries. Dishes collect quickly. And I have had a dishwasher for 6-7 years, I don't remember exactly, so it's not about not playing enough at all, but about necessity. Baking trays, saucepans, especially in the dishwasher!

Teflon handles are understandable, but why the rest?
sazalexter
BooBoo It is difficult to explain each hostess her own approach. Someone needs 10 knives for the kitchen, someone 2-3, keep 2 sets on the farm (one in the work of the other in the PM seems to me not rational) and other items. Wash cups-mugs in PM from time to time, and even to wash teaspoons in PM, it's not at all clear why IMHO

Why is it Teflon handles? Good quality Teflon also perfectly washes in PMM, not to mention "everything else". I cram everything that fits into my PMM.

Well, at least because there is a special department for them and the PMM is intended for this

We do not always accumulate dishes for a full PM during a day, and it is simply not economical to drive it for the sake of 3 plates-forks.
Regarding Tefal, there are aluminum utensils with spraying, so it is not recommended to wash them in PM because of the alkali contained in the powder (corrosion occurs)

We also do not run a half-empty PMM. It really isn't economical. If we haven’t accumulated enough for washing in a day, we leave it for the next day, since there is enough dishes in the house. It is a pity to waste water on hand washing, especially if after a two-year drought the water prices have become very expensive.
As for Teflon, I try not to buy low-quality dishes. Pans from Tefal are perfectly washed in PMM and the coating is not damaged at the same time. Teflon coated cookware from other companies too.
sazalexter
Well what can I say, each hostess has her own approach! We do not like the smell of old dishes, especially in the heat, so we try not to leave them unwashed for more than a day, this is a purely personal feeling. With water, thank God it's a little easier.
Shurshun
If possible, brag about photographs or the names of the Teflon dishes that you wash in the PPM.
There are 4 of us, I wash the dishes once a day, I don’t dry the dishes for two days - I don’t like the sour smell of unwashed dishes, despite the fact that if after eating the dishes are greasy, I only put them on rinsing to immediately wash off the heavily soiled or greasy dishes. In connection with the advent of the PPM, it has become much more and more varied to cook (almost completely automating the entire kitchen, up to the electric grid and the electric pepper mill). Saving interests me, but not so much that I feel sorry for myself 3 rubles a day and wash every two days. I use salt at the moment. rinse and calgonite powder. For soiled baking dishes and baking trays, five tablets in one are more effective. Mega packaging allows the luxury of always having clean dishes. Other manufacturers of detergents are next in line, the funds have already been purchased, I will try to write down my impressions.
They put counters on the water, after which it is not interesting to rinse: on the 45-degree program in half an hour I get clean dishes, and leaving it for 30 minutes after the end of the program without opening the door, I also get it dry (of course, plastic is not perfectly dry due to plastic properties) ...
I have already paid for the installation of three-phase electricity meters, I am waiting for the installation (they said within a month) and then I will calmly start washing at 23-01)) And also bake bread until 7-00 and much more. At night 0.53 rubles per kilowatt, everyone knows? Programming for the morning washing until 7-00 in the morning is not relevant, because you will want to wash the dishes after breakfast, and then after lunch (like lunch will be soon)))) In addition, after installing the extension on the branded hose, the aquastop was 1.5 meters away from the shut-off tap, but that's already the lyrics. In general, this is purely my opinion. IMHO so to speak.
I clarify the questions that have arisen: PPM Bocsh, PPM purchased in January 2009 through the Internet, all detergents and other equipment through Internet sites, regarding the benefits of electricity - Moscow tariffs.
If you helped someone with your message - you are always welcome, than I can - I will help

And the dishes in our sink are not worth it, especially in the heat. Why dry it there unnecessarily? We immediately clean it from food debris and put it in the PMM. And there is no smell and the sink is clean and empty.

Shurshun, I have teflon dishes from Tefal, from the Italian company Ballarini and from the company One. I'm not complaining yet. For PMM I use exclusively Finish products, which I also buy in large packages. You call them Calgonite. And once every two days I wash it not for the sake of economy. This happens quite rarely. I just don't drive the PMM in a half-empty state. And as the dirty dishes accumulate. As soon as it is assembled, I immediately turn on the PMM. Let G-d not know what a drought is and how much water costs during a drought when people buy it abroad. We do not pay in rubles for all this, and our tariffs are not yours in Moscow, but ours, local, and, at the same time, not very cheap.
By the way, my kitchen is also almost completely automated, right down to the flour sifter. I just don't like to brag about each purchased silicone spatula and cloth, like many.

Returning to our glass-ceramic hob pans.
Tefal Optimal pancake pan purchased for Art. keram. plates. But the most important thing is that the dishes, in my opinion, should be washed as much as possible in the PPM, and especially the pans. I washed this frying pan in a PPM, all means - calgonite. Not peeled off the first time. They say this is a good sign, let's see what happens in the future. SOMAT products contain soda and, according to reviews, are softer than calgonite. But assuming that the carbon deposits in the pans should be washed properly while mine is with calgonite. I'll write it off if there are any troubles with the frying pan. It says what has been done in France ... But as they say, according to Stanislavsky
Lydia
Shurshun, I fully support your experiments. If the frying pan shows itself well (in the sense of washing in the PMM), I'll buy the same company when I get a little rich again. Because now you don't want to wash anything with your hands. True, I have a gas stove. Does it matter when choosing pans?

Lydia, you are very lucky, for example, a pancake pan for a gas stove costs half the price. the frying pan was bought in my subway. It’s inexpensive and they were asking for a living in my kitchen. She warmed one with pancakes))
Tomorrow I will take a picture of which pans are disgusting for stoves and most importantly for PPM, since not only are they disgusting, they also begin to "undress" in the PPM under the influence of chemistry, and this is at 45 degrees. But I will take revenge on them, then I will wash them for 70 with calgonite all in one bottle. Maybe they will completely wash off Teflon, and I will use them as cans with handles for decorating shelves in the garage.
In fact, it is a shame when the PPM helps, and the harmful dishes behave as they want. For example, Luminark dishes will quickly peel off even in a PPM with condensation drying. If you consider that I really like to cook and dirty dishes, respectively, and I really like to wash the dishes myself, everything except pans, then I want to buy a Madel PPm Toko for pans and so that I put the dishes inside))))))))))))
