My dishwasher is noisy, although it is positioned as quiet. It seems to me and cannot be otherwise. If you hammer on the dishes with a stream of water, then the noise arises for anyone.
Petrof
Almost all dishwashers now have the same noise characteristics - 46 dB, this is not so much for the ear, but sometimes even one cycle differs from another in noise.

Condensation drying (and now almost everywhere it is) is when, at the end of washing, the dishes are rinsed with hot water and then the machine is standing for a long time, the walls of the washing compartment are made of stainless steel and they cool faster than the dishes and, accordingly, all moisture condenses on the walls, and the dishes dry, and when everything is over, the red ray on the floor goes out.
Iriska
Hmmm, girls and boys! Ten or fifteen years ago, you never dreamed of such a miracle technology, right?
The dishwasher is super! I have already forgotten how to wash the dishes, she does everything dear.

And in general, what happy we have become: bread makers, washing machines, dishwashers and combines, etc., etc. True, it's nice to do household chores now

Doesn't it sound your horn after washing? When I put it on at night to wash, my husband wakes up from this squeak and goes off.
My PMM does not beep. Just the display shows 0.
k.alena, isn't there a timer in your PMM, as in HP? This is not to wake up in the middle of the night to shutdown. You can put it on a sink with a timer. Then the PMM will wash the dishes by morning, for example. My Bose has such an option.

And in mine is, but I do not like to unload hot dishes, and so it will cool down until morning. I gave it as an example of the loudness of the signal, and if it strains, then it can be turned off altogether.

Well, then don't complain that you have to jump up and down in the middle of the night.

And why turn it off at all, she washed and stands for herself until morning. I always put the dishwasher on at night and do not bother me at all when she finishes.

Please help. I flock before the choice of bosh or whirlpool. Well, with Bosch, everything is clear, but about the whirlpool I want to ask if there is an owner of this car and what reviews. I really like the characteristics (I'm talking about the whirlpool ADG 789 model), but I can't find reviews from real people
Boo Boo
What characteristics did you like about Whirlpool?
It seems to me that all cars are about the same. I would rather choose for reliability, that is, for Brand. Although this is also as lucky. Well, the convenience of the baskets, as it turned out empirically, is also very important.
Verona
Well, in general, you're right, they are almost all the same. In Wurpool I liked that the class is AAA, and the noise level is 48, the price we have for them is 16,000. In the Bosch which I looked after 23,000. By the rest of the characteristics, they are almost similar. And then the question arose whether it was worth overpaying. On other forums, everywhere they write that repairs from Bosch are very expensive, it's easier to buy a new one. And in general, can anyone give feedback on their typewriter ..... except Bosch, I already understood this is a wonderful car, but something is a little expensive.

Whirlpool is a fairly well-known brand. I can only say one thing: my friends have a Whirlpool. I don’t know which model, though - they are very pleased with it.
Boo Boo
For example, I heard about Bosch not only positive reviews. Whirlpool is really a well-known company, the only question is in which country this miracle was made. Regarding AAA, for example, for my niece, I counted how much more she would pay per year for electricity if she bought a refrigerator not A, but C. It turned out to be some kind of ridiculous figure. I don't remember exactly, but that's about 50 rubles a year. From this I concluded that it is not really worth paying attention to.
I can tell you about my Kaiser. Made in Germany. AAA. For 14 sets. Positioned as super quiet. She's no better than my 15-year-old Kandy, but no worse. Washes in the same way, dries too, and is no different in terms of noise. I think that nothing fundamentally new for dishwashers can be invented.
The only thing is, never buy equipment from the Kaiser, the color of silver, steel, etc. The coating is peeling off. White technology behaves well.
Tanyusha
Verona go to this forum 🔗, only on the archive there somewhere starting from page 90 there are responses about Whirlpool, and there are no bad reviews about him at all. Before buying myself a typewriter, I read this entire forum, but in the end, BOSCH was boiling, since I needed a black car.
Rita
Verona, I have a Whirlpool car. I am very happy with it!
She washes almost silently. The dishes are perfectly clean, they take little salt. I just can't get enough of her. All whirlpool dishwashers are German assembly. When I was choosing a new dishwasher, a woman consultant advised me. I also watched Boshi and Siemens, but she said that the quality of Whirlpool is just as good, if not better. She herself also has a Whirlpool, and all those close to her. Now I never tire of thanking her for her advice.
I also think, why pay more just for a brand? But, of course, the choice is yours.

Let me disagree with you. Before Whirlpool I had a Bompani of class B or C power consumption. I don't remember now. And the difference in power consumption is simply huge. Both worked only at night. But when Bompani was working, my day and night power consumption was practically equal. This despite the fact that at night, except for the dishwasher, nothing else was actively working. And now, with Whirlpool, half the electricity is consumed at night than during the day.
And, considering that a kilowatt / hour costs almost $ 1.50, this is a very significant saving.
Petrof
I bought my mother a LIBHERR refrigerator 2 years ago, made in Germany (well, that's how it is written, although who can imagine a European working in production now?), Chose this company because of guaranteed reliability, so it, fortunately, at the end of the warranty, broke down , so it is not repairable (even, for some reason, the back wall in the refrigerator is cracked!).
Swiss manufacturers of expensive watches (OMEGA, Longines, etc.) agreed everything and created the SWATCH GROUP organization, which makes unified movements for watches for ALL companies, thus watches differ only in name and design (mechanisms are the same for everyone and are called "ETA" , with extremely rare exceptions).
This is all to the fact that inside almost all the equipment from unified units are the same for all firms (otherwise, the Whirlpool dishwasher could never cost 16,000 rubles). That is, everything can break down - even over there, Mercedes has bulk service centers.
There are some models that are not unified - I saw a Miele washing machine, for example, for 80,000 rubles! Do we need it?
Petrof
Energy class Energy consumption, kWh / kg
A + <0.17
A 0.17 ... 0.19
B 0.19 ... 0.23
C 0.23 ... 0.27
D 0.27 ... 0.31
E 0.31 ... 0.35
F 0.35 ... 0.39
G> 0.39
This is for washing machines (for dishwashers, the difference is no more), but the principle will now be clear: if the machine is 5 kg.laundry - then the maximum difference between class A and B will be 0.3 kW / hour, so when a class A and class B washing machine is running every day for a month, a class B machine will consume only 13.5 kW more than a class A machine (with a standard wash -1.5 hours, 60 degrees), in Moscow daytime! energy prices are about 22 rubles 30 kopecks, PER MONTH. What a huge difference between A and B is written by some, I do not understand.
And second: it is written above that the car takes up little salt, supposedly this is a plus: in fact, salt is not electricity, the car should take as much of it as you set yourself based on the degree of water hardness in your area. and it will be a fixed value.
Sorry for the voluminous top.
P.S. I wrote somewhere higher in the subject that one wash cycle at a night rate in Moscow with the cost of energy, salt, powder, rinse aid and water costs 6-9 rubles. (standard cycle, average prices for chemistry, I counted for my Electrolux, 45 cm.)

Not a single gripe, it washes perfectly, the temperature range is 30-75, all the necessary (and even not so) options are present. I compared it with the girlfriends Fagor and Teka (they bought them built-in with the kitchens). The noise is the same, the quality of washing and drying is the same. Their pros - a loud brand, 1 year warranty and AAA class, my pros - comparable wash quality, 2 years warranty and the price is 3 times less. The fact that the drying class is B does not bother me too much. In the hour program, some items remain damp, in long programs everything is absolutely dry. The fact that my dishwasher consumes 2 liters more water and a penny more electricity does not bother me at all.
New Year's sales have begun - check out the shops for discounts! I've visited Eldorado, so there is a simple CENTURY (three-program) costs .... 5000 !!!!! Programs: glass-30, eco-50 and intensive-75. What else is needed for happiness ???!
I wish you all inexpensive and successful shopping !!!

Natty, look carefully - where the powders are made - the tablets! I have a Somat from the Henkel concern. Plants in Tosno (Leningrad region) and Engels (Saratov region). Calgonite, in my opinion, also has factories in Russia ...
I think nothing terrible will happen. In Soviet times (remind your mother-in-law), there were NO Dishwashing detergents AT ALL! Only "Chistol" -in a jar such a powder-abrasive. And that's all. Nothing, washed with hot water and a rag (there were no sponges either, they were tearing the worn-out knitwear). So, if we press down, we will start the dishwasher without anything at all - just wash it with hot water. By the way, I tried (for the sake of experiment) - it's quite normal, if it's just plates-spoons-mugs ...

And my opinion is that people are nightmares on purpose and they are catching up with the excitement! Someone is at hand!

I still have pieces and halves of pills in the pack, so they did an excellent job of washing the dishes on the 30 minute quick wash program, and there were no streaks on the dishes. Goodness should not be lost.
Apparently I will continue to bookmark half a tablet, I have enough.
Tanyusha
While I wash it at 45C, it is enough for me, the machine washes everything perfectly, even pots, at 65 and 70C I have not even tried to wash it yet. It turns out that the machine itself chooses the washing time from how many dishes are loaded into the machine, but I did not find this in the instructions. And I put only 1 tablespoon of detergent, I think 1 kg will be enough for a long time, even though mine is every day. On the ixbt forum, I read that some are experimenting with soda instead of powder, so if the powder disappears, we will wash it with soda.
Admin

Commenting on my post above. I liked the half pill not even because of the crisis and savings, but the fact that it turned out that this amount was enough for one 30 minute wash and everything turned out to be clean and without streaks.
I liked it that way. And then, apparently, it still depends on the quality of the product itself.

Still dependent on water, and very much.
I won't say anything about a dishwasher, I just didn't have one in my old apartment. But with a washing machine, there is such an experience.

In the area where we lived before (south of Moscow), the tap water was highly chlorinated and rather hard. Literally 1/2 tablespoon of washing powder could wash a set of white bedding and it was always snow-white !! We didn't buy any bleaches or stain removers ...
(true teeth literally crumbled )

When moving, the car was not changed, the old one was transported (east, outside the Moscow Ring Road ..) here along the whole direction, from Novogireevo to Noginsk, the water is yellowish, soft with a high iron content. They began to buy only expensive powders, a bunch of different bleaches and I load all this into the machine "to the eyeballs", but the linen is still yellowish
(but everyone's teeth stopped deteriorating )

Yeah, I tried to wash the dishes at 65 degrees with soda once in my bosh ... Quiet horror. I had to wash off the white plaque with an iron washcloth
Petrof
Even on TV, it was advised to put half a tablet under normal loading of the dishwasher, so that no discovery happened here (just not everything is in the subject here).
If you put (in a 45cm machine - personally checked) a whole tablet of the product, then sometimes white stains remain on the non-stick coatings, you have to add rinse aid. Then it becomes expedient from the point of view of economy to use separate components of chemistry.
I want to add that when the first dishwashers appeared in our country, there was nothing at all from chemistry for them, and people washed the dishes by putting a very small amount of ordinary stralny powder into the machine. And everything was fine.
Somat - makes good money, and the rinse aid has a fairly budgetary price, but here is information for economical ones:
YPLON facilities
Salt - 4kg - 260-270 rubles (enough for about 376 days), packaged in semi-finished packages of 1kg - convenient - 1 package-one "filling"
Detergent powder - 3kg - 275-285 rubles (consumption per wash is approximately 18-25 grams)
and their rinse aid is about the same price as Somat.
And in order not to get the heavy packaging for filling the detergent into the car all the time, we simply pour the powder through a funnel into a bottle of mineral water or cola (600 ml) - it is enough for about a month, and it is convenient to store it in the kitchen.
So good luck everyone. And the crisis does not threaten us with dirty dishes!
Pogremushka
I really like somat products. Calgonite and Crystal Fix are too thermonuclear. But about Iplon I heard that the funds are not bad, but they were not on sale.
Alice
My dear forum users, help! I think the assistant (dishwasher) is broken! I wanted to chase her away with calgonite for cleaning from fat and scale (they have such a special one). So the car started yelling something after 15 minutes, I see, the agent was in the bank, it remained, the car does not drain the water, all the indicators are on. What to do? As luck would have it, the instruction manual was lost, the ariston li 460 car - can anyone have it?, Help!
NatalyaN
I once had a breakdown, but only one program burned and did not turn off in any way, respectively, and did not turn on no matter what. It turned out that the water from the dishes (I first put all the dishes in the sink for the whole day - I fill it with water) accumulated in the drain below, where the filter blocked the programs. I had to soak all the water out of the filter with towels, then turn it off, turn it on, and only after that it rebooted. If this helps you I will be glad.

Parents have a cheap Indesit IDL 40 EU, there will not be much difference between Bosches over 20, in my personal opinion. In my personal opinion, it depends on the means, and so.
Here they talk about Somat from Henkel, how do you compare it to Super-advertising Calgonit? Just on the basis (from a marriage, consisting in a packaging defect, for example) 60 tablets 7 in 1, cost a little less than 400 r, and the same calgonite 10 in 1 56 tablets, about 800 r. Is Somat the same quality when divided in half? And do you additionally add salt and rinse aid to the tablets where All for one?
Boo Boo
I also thought earlier that the brand of the dishwasher rather affects the reliability of the device and not particularly the quality of the sink. But recently I was visiting. They have a Kuppersbusch dishwasher. I was simply amazed at her silent work. Sitting in the kitchen next to her, I did not hear that she was working at all. Only some subtle noise. I even asked what the sound was.
Alice
Natalyan, our thoughts coincide with you! Yesterday I also scooped all the water out of it with improvised means, even with a rubber pear Until midnight, I looked for instructions everywhere, even on the official website of Ariston, but ... I did not find it. And today, hurray! the machine spent the night and decided to work! I turned it on, I look at the indicators as normal as before, I think I'll take a chance - I'll start it again with this cleaner, I still need to wash it someday. The program went well and ended on time. What happened to the PM is unknown, probably tired. As for the funds. It is definitely more profitable to use everything separately: salt, detergent and rinse aid. Calgonite is good, but expensive. The somat is still thermonuclear, it washes all sorts of beautiful drawings from the dishes (those that are written in silver and gold). Iplon is also normal. I also tried such a remedy as aro - produced by Metro Cash and Carry, so good too, and most importantly - very cheap When I used the tablets, I definitely added salt, in our region the water is very hard, they definitely recommend, even in the store they warned did not save
Rita
If the water is hard, then YPLON powder or tablets do not wash dishes very well, even tea bloom remains in the mugs.
Mams
I didn't like Somat. They don't have rinse aid ah ... It remained on the dishes at any position of the regulator. I bought CrystalFix - everything is fine. I use it now. The same about the powder. And it is not thermonuclear, unlike Calgonite ... For 1 sink - I pour 1 tablespoon. Washes great. There are no white spots, the dishes are washed well.
-Elena-
Hello everyone! I read it and decided to add my own 5 kopecks. I have a BOSCH dishwasher large for 3 years with a little, very happy with it. When we decided to buy it, we were also looking for a place for a long time, since the kitchen was already renovated with built-in appliances. We got out of the situation as follows - I had a cabinet under the countertop was 60 cm, consisting of 2 doors and 2 drawers. We took it out, put the car there, and out of 4 parts of the door, my husband assembled one and hung it on the dishwasher. Now, who does not know, they do not guess what is behind the door of the PMM. And for washing, I use Claro 3 in 1 powder (made in Austria, website claro.at), but I set the machine to use less rinse aid and salt and add a little more. Empirically, I realized that tablets are not the best option, because the rinse aid works worse and the dishes do not dry well (but this is only IMHO). By the way, for those who live in Moscow, this powder is sold in Ashan.
Lydia
Are the "pre-rinse" and "pre-wash" functions different? Or is it the same thing? How is a single program being used, or is it part of a longer program? How necessary is it? It seemed to me that I already understood everything, was going to buy PMM and suddenly found out that I still confuse God's gift with fried eggs ...

I also have Bosch, and I was also surprised - why does the dishes remain wet after the pills? And the master explained to me - the machine calculates all phases of the program and proceeds to the next, only after completing the previous one.In the tablet, the rinse aid is combined with the detergent, and the machine, without "seeing" the rinsing process, does not start drying either. As soon as I replaced the pills with the powder, everything works amazingly!

I think pre-rinsing is soaking. I rarely use it, when the dishwasher is already partially filled, and it is far from being completely filled and, accordingly, switched on. I have a duration of this program for 7 minutes. The dishes are simply rinsed with cold water, after which the water is drained. In general, the function is necessary.
The prewash is like the prewash. I have it in some programs. Not included separately. I always put the dishwasher on a prewash program.

Once again I am convinced that there is no need to renounce! I thought I didn't need a dishwasher. But suddenly it turned out that thanks to the forum, there were more appliances and dishes, but the kitchen has not yet been planned and the dishes, like a sin, have to be washed more and more often ... Now I am planning a dishwasher. In general, I have not yet figured out about the models and their functions. Now I am worried about the thought that I want a built-in one, but I read somewhere that it makes the countertop puffy. In one of the topics, they advised a countertop made of artificial stone, but a crisis broke out, I counted my finances and realized that such a countertop did not shine for me yet. Tell me, is there really no recipe for bulging a conventional laminated countertop?
k.alena
You've read such horror stories
I have a laminate countertop, PMM Bosch - 4 years old, normal flight
There is thermal insulation between the top of the PMM and the countertop, and in the place where the door opens, a special metal plate to protect the countertop from hot steam immediately after washing.
So don't worry. Maybe those people had it somehow installed incorrectly
Cubic
Actually, I haven't heard that ...
Although my PMM is not embedded, but you know mish , most of my friends have had dishwashers for a long time, and no one complains about the built-in stone .. but I learned about the artificial stone not so long ago, before they somehow managed without it. Don't worry, the main thing is that you have everything installed correctly!
Lenusya
mish, I have a freestanding dishwasher (the top cover was removed in it) is placed under the common tabletop, there is no thermal insulation and no metal plate. I think the dishwasher itself has a layer of thermal insulation. The worktop does not deteriorate, however, in order for the steam to escape faster, I do not open it slightly after washing, but open the door completely for a couple of minutes
And if you follow the advice k.alena and make thermal insulation and a protective plate, then in general it will be possible not to worry

a plate will be given to the machine, which is screwed over the PM door from the bottom to the table top (to protect it from hot humid air when it opens the door after washing), if you want to coat it with sealant. but this is the first time I've heard of this.
Doremi
I have the same question (about thermal insulation) ??? There was no additional plate in the PMM package. We are going to install the PMM ourselves. Can someone tell me what can be used as thermal insulation and how can such a plate be replaced? And what is the size of this plate?

Doremi, Do you have a built-in or free-standing?

Hello everybody! I ask for help. Recently bought a Siemens dishwasher with an open panel. I'm glad and not. As the dishes are washed, you unscrew the filter to wash it, in general there is no dirt, but water remains at the bottom inside. I blot it a couple of times with a wrung out sponge until dry. Say whether the water should remain or not. Maybe I'm finding fault.I just wanted to buy Bosch, but they ran out, I had to take Siemens, and it is more expensive. The seller simply persuaded that by overpaying we will get the best result. Now I'm worried, but it's done.
