So I finally joined your slender ranks! When buying PMM, I proceeded from the fact that, first of all, it had to fit in color into my kitchen (well, yes - women's logic, I've already heard). Bosch 45t78 came up. Yesterday was the first wash - 45 degrees and 32 minutes, because it was already late, and I really wanted to try. As a result, the pan was washed well, and the plates were washed through one, there were slaps of melted cheese, although no food residues were observed when laying the plates. Either the temperature is wrong, or the short program, or the first time set it too tightly, or it’s the detergent - I bought kristall-lux in tablets, it’s written - made in germany. So I sit at work and think - start getting upset or wait for a second try? Today I'll turn it on at 70 degrees!
Natty
vfrcbvf- don't be upset! you just haven't gotten to know your PMM properly yet. Read the forum to which I gave the link, there were described problems similar to yours.
Caprice
vfrcbvf, and the temperature is not enough, and the regime is too short. Mine washes for about two hours in basic modes. By the way, did you put in special salt and rinse aid?
Mams
Yeah, plates of cheese - the temperature is at least 50 ... and time is short. I put it at night - at 2 hours, at 50 degrees. Everything is fine. Both clean and dry. And the cheese sticks off By the way, the remnants of noodles from the soup also stick to the plates remarkably during washing Moreover, they "come out" of the pan In the standard program I have a preliminary rinsing, that's with it everything runs into the sewer
Maxima
Yes, I laid both salt and rinse with a generous hand
I just turned on the auto mode -55-65 degrees. The experiment continues! True, there was no cheese today

Among other things, the tablets are not recommended for use in a short program, as they dissolve for a long time and do not have time to act.
Maxima
Pogremushka, thanks, didn’t know. Just in case, I’ll also buy some powder.
The result of washing at 55-65 degrees pleased me - everything creaks and shines!
But again the question is - how do you deal with the chemical smell after washing (or do you not have it?), Is it possible to leave the door open for the whole day for airing, the instructions say something like this: "do not leave it open, because you can, for example , stumble over her ... "And I have only a cat at home during the day
Tanyusha
Natty thanks for the info I'm sitting studying for the second day, because all the same I decided to buy a dishwasher, I felt sorry for my hands and like my husband already persuaded to buy.
Natty
And I almost shed a tear today when it dawned on me that now, finally, I can do M A N I K Y R : D Don't believe me - I haven't done it for 6 years
Tanyusha
I then do a manicure every week, but there is no sense from this, for 6 people while you cook so many dirty dishes, it's some kind of horror. I still have a question which dishes are not dishwasher safe and why?
Lenusya
tanya1962 then you urgently need a dishwasher

🔗
In principle, some types of dishes can be washed in a dishwasher, but only in a gentle mode and with utmost care. This means that you should select the delicate program with the lowest temperature and duration of washing, and after the end of the cycle, remove the dishes from the machine as soon as possible. At the same time, it is recommended to reduce the dose of the used detergent by about 1.5 times. Thus, for example, cups and plates with pictures and icing should be washed - separately using the delicate program. Cookware that requires extreme care also includes:

• earthenware dishes;

• utensils with overglaze painting, which, if it does not disappear, may lose color and fade);

• aluminum objects (aluminum dissolves by the action of alkalis and oxidants);

• glassware, on the packaging of which there is no symbol indicating the possibility of washing in a dishwasher: at a temperature of 35-40 degrees, such glass will not break, but it may become cloudy.

Just in case, we remind you that the following types of dishes are absolutely not intended for washing in a dishwasher, no matter what kind of detergent is used:

• old dishes, the coating of which is not heat-resistant;

• glued dishes;

• cutlery with wooden, horn, porcelain or mother-of-pearl handles;

• objects made of ordinary (rusting) steel;

• not heat-resistant plastic items;

• wood products (eg cutting boards);

• tin or copper items;

• items of decorative and applied art - for example, Gzhel and Khokhloma;

• very small items that may fall out of the trays during washing and fall onto moving parts of the machine.
Tanyusha
Lenusya thank you very much, the fact is that I was worried about the pots with plastic handles, they are German and live in the house for 15 years, and my plates are all designed for dishwasher. And another question, can you wash Teflon-coated molds?
Pogremushka
At the expense of teflon utensils. Maybe, of course, everything depends on the coverage. I had cheap Teflon pans, soaps in pmm. Where there were small dents, the surface was greatly disturbed, the pits became more and more larger each time. Then I read somewhere that it is undesirable to wash Teflon in PMM. New pans with better coating, but I don't risk it. And why? Teflon washes very easily and quickly, and in the PMM space is freed up for other dishes.

Weird pills you sell there Quality pills dissolve instantly

Quality tablets do not dissolve instantly, but gradually. They also consist of different components and these components must begin to act at different times. That is why it is not recommended to use tablets on short runs.

They sell the same pills here as you have there. Unfortunately, now I don’t remember where I first read this recommendation, it seems even to some people in the instructions said about it. But it is obvious to me that in half an hour and at low temperatures, the powder will cope better than any tablet.

Well, here I finally joined this miracle of civilization. : wow: Bought a Blomberg GSN 1580 XB model. They turned it on, like washes. Only I have a few questions - for the pros in dishwashers. 1) the instructions say that 2 kg of this same salt fits into the hole for salt. Poured 1.5 (1 pack). Pour in the next dose when the light on the display lights up? 2) it is completely unclear how much rinse aid to pour (it is written - up to the max mark). We have poured a lot, and when you open the door, this rinse aid slowly flows out. Pour it a lot like salt, or just as a powder for one "wash"? He, the infection, is very smelly (bought Aro in Metro). Sorry for stupid questions, but I've never used dishwashers at all.
k.alena
I usually add salt just before washing (as the instructions say so that there is no corrosion when the salt spilled past the container and the interior of the car interacts). I sprinkle it until it spills over the top. And I fill in the rinse aid as indicated in the instructions (I do not have the same system as yours, there is no max mark, but there is an analogue), but this is done once for several washes. And in my car, it does not flow out, but only in the wash cycle at a certain moment. Can you close the lid badly?
Maxima
Viki, thanks, very informative, especially for beginners (like me).
Lionsea, rinse aid after the first refueling, I also dripped slightly, and next time it and the salt must be added when the light goes out. I have already studied this

I ask experienced advice. I am going to buy a compact Electrolux dishwasher with a width of 45 and install it under the sink, but in the instructions in the figure it is installed on the countertop and the drain goes by gravity into the sink; the drain is indicated there - only as in the figure. Isn't there a drain pump? The shop assistants know nothing about this.

There are no such in my PM and program. The lowest temperature on the washing programs of my PM is 45 degrees. This is a gentle program for delicate glass. Well, it's just a rinse, but I hardly use this program.
I use Finish tablets, which are called Calgonit in Russia.

Lenusya, I once did not drain the water, it turned out that the filter was very clogged. I cleaned the filter, started the pre-rinse and everything was drained.

I had a similar situation today. It turned out that the electricity was cut off and the car stopped with water at the bottom, somewhere at the end of the program. When you turn it on again, the PMM finished it to the end and everything returned to normal.
Lenusya , maybe your electricity was cut off too?
Lenusya
BooBoo, Yana , thank you very much for your promptness. I pulled out all the filters - they seemed to be clean, washed it again, collected all the water with a rag in the drain hole and turned it off even from the network. In the morning I'll try to turn it on - maybe the brains will correct.
When you turn it on again, that's all. The electricity did not turn off, but there could well be a jump, maybe the program got lost.
Thanks again for your support.
Pogremushka
Carricе, I do not pretend to be the ultimate truth and I am glad if you are satisfied with the quality of washing with tablets. Initially, it was about the fact that one user of pmm, by the way Bosch, was not satisfied with the result on a short program (45 *, 30 minutes) using pills. She was given a recommendation. It's up to everyone to accept this advice, or ignore it.

Lenusya check the drain hose again, it could bend, if it hummed, it looks like the pump was working, it means it tried to drain the water and for some reason could not

I had such a situation when I turned it on for the first time.
The reason is incorrect connection to the sewer network, drain. It turned out that they connected correctly, but did not pierce the membrane connecting the drain of the machine and the sink.

I had to call specialists from the A-Iceberg service to the house, but the business turned out to be three kopecks.
But this was my first connection, but I don't know how you do it.

If necessary, I will raise the address of this company, it is located in Moscow and serves household appliances, this is not the first time I have contacted them.
Lenusya
Admin , Thank you so much
my car is almost 3 years old, just in case I climbed in all the hoses and shook it (it suddenly helps), through the Indesita website I found a service center in Pyatigorsk (it turned out - all the same where I constantly call, ordered an additional saucepan for the multicooker through them and now they are trying to find me an ice cream maker for the combine). I want to hope that it won't come to this.
Now, remembering the circumstances, I am inclined to believe that after all there was either a power surge or tonight the voltage in the network is lower than usual, since the microwave does not turn on as usual and the turntable is barely spinning.

Well, it's been 4 days since I'm with the dishwasher
Delivered quickly - in a week, without hassle, in excellent condition. All overpayments (VAT, delivery to the office of Zheldorexpedition, delivery to our city) amounted to 3 thousand rubles. In general, we are satisfied! Recommended online store "Electrovenik"
We connected it ourselves - to the place of the washing machine, everything without problems. And finally she washes! The first feeling is unexpected free time! I didn't know what to do with myself. Second, the most important thing is clean dishes without my participation. Especially yesterday, when the guests left and I was left with a mountain of dirty dishes.
Separately about the quality of washing. It works for me. So far we have not yet figured out which one, but over time everything will come to automatism and everything will be OK.
I am very happy with this purchase!

I don't know what helped of the actions we took, but the machine started working
Admin, Yana, Bubuthanks for the advice

Lenusya, Thanks for that. We understand you that way. To be left without a dishwasher is a terrible horror. Therefore, we tried our best to help you.
Natty, very happy about you. The dishwasher is great. At first, it will be a little difficult to cope with the arrangement of dishes in the rm. And then everything becomes quick and easy. Each item has its own place on the shelf.

Girls who bought this miracle CONGRATULATIONS !!!! I have been using it for 2 weeks now, I can't get enough of it. Yes, the only difficulty is to teach you how to put the dishes compactly and so that everything is washed out, that is, the jets of water reach out. I bought Calgonit powder, and Somat tablets - I didn't feel the difference, everything washes well! In vain they scared that, they say, all these "additives" (salt, rinse) spend a lot of money! Salt (a gift from the company) poured almost the entire pack - nothing so far, no semaphore, that the rinse agent has run out has been poured into the compartment about a quarter of a liter bubble - it does not ask for refueling either. so "rumors about the gluttony of the car were greatly exaggerated!"
Thank you all again for your advice! I would not have dared to buy without you!

I decided to do a little arithmetic: there are two programs in my machine (not counting rinsing) - "Normal" (104 min, power consumption 1.15 kW / h) and "Economical" wash (155 min, 0.8 kW / h). It turns out that 1.99 kW for normal and 2.07 kW for economical is running. Saving only on water is obtained.

It turns out that I fill in the rinse aid about once a month, and about salt, the technician who connected my PMM said that one filling is enough for about six months. This is with daily washing.

And one more thing: for a year I have NEVER used any sink, except for a SHORT (30 minutes, 45 degrees). I guess I just didn't have too dirty dishes. family - 5 people, I cook a lot and often, wash the dishes once a day (rarely - once every two days).

MaDaMa, be stunned! Are you all five on a diet? I have a BOSCH 60 cm. I do not cook so that too much for a family of 4 people, of which two are big adult men. In my PM, both pots and Teflon pans and baking sheets. Can't imagine how this can be washed on short mode? The instructions say that the short mode is for fragile dishes.

It turns out that 1.99 kW for normal and 2.07 kW for economical is running. Saving only on water is obtained.

In general, no one claimed that with the purchase of a PM, dishwashing would become FREE. "Saving only on water" - in many cases this is more tangible for the wallet than paying for electricity! Let's continue your arithmetic. 2 kilowatts per one wash is 1.62 * 2 = 3.24 in our city. For a month 3, 24 * 30 = 97 rubles.
If I washed by hand, I would have spent 50L on average. For a month, 1500 liters would flow out. I live in a private house, so I don't know the tariffs for a cubic meter of hot water. But I suspect that, per 1.5 cubic meters, the difference with the calculated 97 rubles will not be significant.
I have hot water in my house from a 200 liter storage water heater. I cant. like a PM, to wash the dishes with hot water, and rinse with cold water, which means that I would pour out all 50 liters of hot water. If the machine spends about 10 liters per wash cycle, then I manually pour 5 cycles into the sink, and everything is warmed up by my water heater. 5 times! This is a significant difference.
Further. For a month, it takes me about 2 bottles of dish detergent = 70 rubles. I bought Calgonite powder 2.5 kg for 450 rubles. One cycle consumes 25g of powder, that is, one hundredth part. For the money - 4.5 rubles. Per month = 135 rubles That is, 2 times more expensive. Plus salt and rinse aid. yes, PM is more expensive for detergents.
The bottom line. I hypothetically assume that washing by hand is COMPLETELY FREE for me. And in the PM, washing will cost me 97 rubles a month + 135 rubles = 232 rubles. Plus salt rinse for a round amount of 250 rubles. Thus, without considering the wear and tear of the machine, in order. I have to pay $ 10 in order not to wash the dishes by hand! I AGREE!!! In reality, we are talking (minus the difference) about $ 5 !!! And are you worried that it is expensive ?? !! Then someone above suggested that we start calculating washing powder, air conditioner and electricity for the washing machine, then get horrified and start washing by hand. I do not mind counting. But only in order to SIMPLY KNOW how much this or that process in the house costs. No more. I am the hostess and I have to be clear about all the expenses.
I know one thing for sure: FOR COMFORT AND CONVENIENCE YOU NEED TO PAY SEPARATE MONEY. For example, in an airplane, everyone flies in one, and everyone arrives at the same time, BUT everyone flies with varying degrees of comfort: business class. economy class, etc. The price of a ticket for the same is also the same. I emphasize. plane.
If you have already increased the comfort and convenience of your life at the expense of PM, be prepared to pay for it. IMHO.

Key thought.
In general, it's not clear what they are arguing about? Whoever doesn't like it - let him do everything with his pens. Why start empty arguments? Or is it about elementary envy? Say: we have no money to buy PMM, but we don’t need it: it washes poorly, leaves stains, is not economical, breaks down, etc. Like, we are poor, but proud. Some absurdity.
Cake
Caprice, don't be so harsh!
I think no one here is going to envy anyone or compare material capabilities. We are discussing the "economic part" of the PM operation. This thread. like the whole forum. reads guests much more. than registered users. And all of them are interested in the opinion of those people directly. who bought this still uncommon household appliances (bread makers, multicooker, hotters, etc.) and uses it all. Of course, I care about the "expenditure part" !!! For example, I was very worried that in our tiny little town (100,000 population) there are no dishwasher products in the shops, but you have to buy them in the supermarkets of the regional center. I was very worried about HOW OFTEN have to buy. In a supermarket I saw Calgonite powder 2.5 kg and I was very interested - HOW LONG will the package last. In this thread, I carefully studied the opinions of people about the difference between a pill and a powder, because the difference in price is threefold.
Caprice, I'm not a poor man, and certainly not envious, but I am not poor because. that I can count money. And deliberately spend them. Of course. I sooooo wanted to entrust the washing of dishes to clever technology. But any desire has a "ceiling", you will agree with me! For 10 $ Per month - I agree, for 50 - I'll think for a long time, for 100 - I can't afford it yet. This is my "mathematics" ...

Lovers, most likely. no longer exists. But there are many who CANNOT afford to buy an automatic washing machine, an automatic powder (20-30% more expensive than an ordinary one!), A scale cleaner and whose electrical wiring simply cannot withstand all the bulbs in the house + 2 kV heater in the car ... There are such people. And I sympathize with them from my heart. Because sooooo very well I remember the recent times, when I had daily washing mountains from 2 small children and an old Siberia machine with a centrifuge, which shocked terribly. This defect could not be repaired, so it was necessary to unplug the machine from the socket before touching it. That's how we lived ...

The count is almost correct. The passport indicates the power consumption per cycle. Tobish, in normal mode, the car will spend 1.15 kW / h, and in economical mode, only 0.8 kW / h.
Therefore, the regime is called so. This is also true for the washing machine. Although there are tens of 2 kilowatts, this does not mean that she will spend 4kW / h in 2 hours. She, as expected, will spend only 1 kW / h.
In many household appliances, the power consumption is indicated precisely for the cycle of its operation.
Therefore, with peace of mind, you can stain and stain the dishes with the delicious remnants of a romantic dinner.

I was here not far away, like yesterday, on the iXbt forum, I was just doing the calculations, I quote from

I had 1.5 kg of salt for six months. Powder for PMM - 2 kg - was enough for 4 months. Subject to daily washing, or even 2 times a day. The rinse aid lasted for almost six months.

You can count it approximately. Salt - Somat - 80 rubles per 1.5 kg - 0.44 K. per day. Powder for PMM - Crystal Fix - 400 r. for 2 kg. - 3 rubles 33k. in a day. Rinse aid - Crystal Fix - 200 rubles per bottle - 1 rubles 11k. in a day. Total - 4 rubles 88 kop per day. Once again, I note that this is for 1, sometimes 2 washes per day.
By the way, a means for washing dishes by hand - now "lives" for about a month (well, there are still dishes that cannot be put into PMM), I used to buy 4 bottles a month. I like to wash dishes with Frosch (he doesn’t eat his hands like that) - 80 rubles per bottle - it turns out that it took me approx. 10 rubles a day. This is especially for those who say that it is cheaper to wash dishes with a conventional product.

If we add to the cost of chemistry 1p 60 kopecks. for 1 kW of electricity, and 20 liters of water is generally 20 kopecks (1 cubic meter costs 11 rubles 80 kop.) - it turns out that I spend 6 rubles 70 kopecks a day on washing dishes. Girls, it's 200 rubles a month. At Moscow prices - take a ride 10 times in the metro ...

And one more indisputable advantage of the PMM is, again, the economy of our time. And the mood in the family is improving. And the cost of PMM starts at 8 thousand rubles. I will not say that everyone can afford it, but still it has not become so expensive.

I wish all women, girls, men, etc. - to get a Dishwasher!
Caprice
Cake, well, I didn't mean you, but those who, motivating their unwillingness or inability to acquire PMM, are looking for reasons in inefficiency, poor quality of washing, etc. Personally, this reminds me of the fable about the Fox and grapes in terms of the type: "If it is not available to me - means bad "
