Ingredients

Cooking method

  • 1.Marine fish fillets in spices, salt - leave in a bowl for 30-40 minutes. Then drain the excess liquid and spread the fillet on a paper towel - dry the fish.

  • 2. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan, stew the onion (strips) on it, add salt and add 1/2 tsp of brown sugar so that the onion does not taste very spicy. Put the finished onion in a separate bowl.

  • 3. Fry tomatoes (rings) and peppers (large slices) in the same oil until moisture evaporates. Salt a little vegetables and sprinkle with spices.
  • I also fry the apple slices here.
  • These vegetables - tomato, pepper, onion, apples - taste very friendly with fish.
  • Cool the fried vegetables until warm.

  • 4. Roll out 2 pieces of dough (packaging) on ​​a baking sheet. We lay out the dried fish. First lay the onion on top. Then we lay out the tomatoes, peppers (and apples - for everybody).

  • 5. bend the edges of the dough to the fish - make an envelope. Sprinkle with grated cheese on top. Lubricate the dough with a beaten egg and set to bake in an already preheated oven at 190 * C - for 25-30 minutes.

2. I am not friends with spices…. Well, absolutely. The first time I just added salt and pepper ... It was delicious, but now I wanted to try something new .... Added French herbs, they were clearly superfluous. What do you use with white fish?

When cooking, it is better to focus on your taste. I take any convenient fish, or lay out white and red "dominoes", the amount of food is also to your taste, I gave an approximate amount - and then how will it turn out.
I like a lot of fish, so that the whole dough is covered, so the cake is delicious! Just do not lay out in thick pieces, otherwise the bottom layer of the pie will be damp when baking.

For fish, the best spices are white pepper, lime pepper, and lemon, lime, fresh dill! Try sprinkling the fish on the pie with freshly ground white pepper and some freshly chopped dill.
But tomatoes can be dipped in a marinade of vegetable oil, vinegar, salt, sugar, and spread on fish - then the tomatoes will not be sour in the pie.
