Ah. Clear. Sorry, I just didn’t realize that, indeed, someone doesn’t know how.

Girls, I have a Tefal pancake maker for 4 pancakes in my house for 10 years. I gave it to my son-in-law, she would also doubt the purchase. It is good in the case when baking pancakes is a collective process - we sit, bake, eat. The dough should be made more liquid. I like the fact that when you bake pancakes in a frying pan, the whole family eats hot pancakes, and you, like a squirrel, only have time to spin around the stove, then baking pancakes on a pancake maker is calm, without fuss. Children are very fond of baking pancakes - there is equality at the table, everyone has their own place on the pancake maker. I wrote about the fillings in someone's reply (page 15)
saika
I ordered Ariet181 and it will be delivered only next week. Tomorrow I will bake pancakes in an ordinary skillet.
Irina F
Yesterday I tried Ariete181. What can I say, of course it's fun for everyone to sit down at the table and take turns to perform this action (I had two small ones, six years old and two and a half, they pulled the pancake maker out of my hands), then dad joined in - he just liked that the pancakes are dry, I I liked the fact that you don't have to stand at the pan (I really don't like it) everything is very decent, no fat, drops clean))) Pancakes are eaten right there) And yet it looks more like a toy - you don't stuff them, and you won't leave them lying - they are very dry (while I tried the recipe given in the instructions). Today I want to try to bake the Freken Bokvologda lace recipe. Let's see what happens!

- they are very dry
If they are not eaten instantly, but folded in a pile, placing a small piece of butter between each, and covered with an inverted bowl for a few minutes, then they sweat and become very tender and soft. Of course, if you haven't baked them to a plywood state. Well, a lot depends on the recipe - if the dough is too liquid, then, naturally, the pancake will be in the form of the thinnest, instantly drying film. films

dopleta-what dough recipe do you have for your pancake maker?
Why - for a pancake maker? I just make my own dough, which I usually bake in both a frying pan and another electric crepe maker. I use the same dough for Arietka. By the way, I just baked quite soft pancakes on it, from which I made such a "Tea Rose"

I rested in a sanatorium, so we have a boy for breakfast and dinner in a pancake maker (for 6 small pieces), 10 liters of baking dough! Delicious! And so he did it deftly! He will put two pancakes on a plate, grease it with condensed milk or jam on top - and take it away, there was a line of kids all the time. My family also liked everyone. I decided to come home and buy it.

Frankly, girls, I do not understand at all, what is the catch of these huge pancake makers for 4-5 pancakes? Immersion really inspired me and I bought it right away! No fumes and no smoke, all the thickness is the same, you don't need to wave the pan back and forth! The main thing - rubbed it and put it in the closet - no one will find it until it is needed! And with these tefals you need to open a home cafe ...

Well, Tefalevskaya with two panels (2 medium or 6 small) makes a lot of sense if you have a family of at least 4 people and 3 of them are not weak men. In addition, it almost does not require oil, and I do not like oily. I use it for quick breakfast for all my men. Although I think that there is no better cast iron for pancakes. No tefali, submersible, etc. cast iron will outweigh me. It's just that when you need a lot and quickly, jumping with two cast-iron pans is hard.

So everyone has different preferences and habits.

Just don't forget. that cast iron is saturated with burnt out peroxidized fats, which lead steadily to liver dystrophy! My husband is a specialist and he understands this perfectly. It is impossible to delete them! My submersible pancake maker does not have a Teflon coating - something else, I have it German. There is no fat - once when buying, I greased it with olive oil and that's it. In addition, with cast iron, you cannot control the heating temperature, and fumes and smoke in the kitchen indicate overheating of fats. But my pancake maker simply cannot have it. That's why I say so. I had an electric tefal frying pan and a couple of ordinary ones - their coating is no good. After a while, it piles, the fat is washed off with difficulty. Now I avoid their technique with their coating. It is a pity that Tomsk does not produce pans - I received new pots for multi from them, this is a class. I use it for six months, no problem. Tefal did not stand nearby. All success and bon appetit!

It seems to me that these fears are extremely exaggerated. Several previous generations ate from cast-iron pans (we did, and we only fry pancakes) and no one had liver dystrophy.
Smoke and fumes is just an experience with cast iron and your stove. I have neither one nor the other.

I had a gorgeous Italian pancake pan, but after a few years of washing in the dishwasher, the coating came off. Nothing peeled off, but it began to burn ...
Ksenia
Forgive me, but every second person suffers from liver dysfunctions - liver dystrophy gives rise to inflammation of the gallbladder, stones in the bile ducts, cirrhosis. chronic cholecystitis ... Improper diet is a leading factor in all these diseases. Maybe you can tell. that no one in previous generations was sick with this ??? So, fears are not exaggerated, but minimized ... Dishes play a leading role in this issue. For example, a number of my friends, like myself, made fundamental improvements in the state of the digestive tract only by switching to a qualitatively different dish. In my case, it was a zepter. but not necessarily just him. be healthy
Gypsy
You yourself write:

* some other * that is, it is not known from what and what from this coating will hurt our and the afterbirth. generations. Let's say not from fats, but from other poisons in this coating.
Scarecrow
Cast iron is to blame for this ?! Especially when you consider that nowadays cast iron is practically not used for cooking (in a rare family you will find such a frying pan), and there are even more gallstones, cirrhosis and others like them.

In my opinion, you need to eat right. Healthy and wholesome foods, as little as possible fatty, smoked, alcohol, etc. And we will be happy. And our liver too.
Ksenia
Well, firstly, these are not unknown poisons, but a coating patented in Europe, there is simply no time to look for instructions and write about it. Secondly, this is not why I avoid Teflon. that I believe in some kind of supernatural poisons, but according to the consumer qualities set out above. Thirdly, I believe that, anyway, the harm from peroxidized fats is higher. Do you have statistical data on the growth of liver diseases in correspondence with the use or non-use of cast iron? It is unlikely ... Therefore, there is no need for unfounded statements. The truth is, and I agree with the previous message, that you need to use high-quality and healthy products. Unfortunately, not a single type of pancakes belongs to those and you cannot call them a dietary product. This is just a delicacy, and the recipes came from the Stone Age, when they did not know how to make leavened dough, there were no stoves, they just learned how to grind cereals into flour and pour it diluted with water onto a hot stone. That is why pancakes are involved in the most conservative rituals - seeing off the world, including seeing off winter, which replaced the real ritual murders of old people in spring. They did not see anything immoral in this then - they were sent to their ancestors to take care of the new harvest. It's unpleasant to know the truth about yourself, but you can't help it. So it's just about how to make this ritual delicacy the least harmful. Good luck and good mood to everyone.
Ksenia
And cast iron is to blame for being porous - it is impossible to completely remove peroxidized fats and other carcinogens from it. That's all.
Scarecrow
I also do not see statistics in your posts. You are no less unfounded than I am. And just all kinds of opinions, good and different, the whole Internet.

I am not against your opinion and not against you. Absolutely. I am prompted by the situation when they want to convince me without, in my opinion, valid reasons.

And pancakes made from whole grain flour (and in those very ancient times they were exactly like that, the whole grain was ground) can even be called useful. So now pancakes can be made quite "dietary".
Actually, why about ritual murders and so on - I did not understand at all. The question seemed to be not about the origin of pancakes and their usefulness as such, but about the influence of the dishes on the products prepared on it (in this case, on the pancakes).

my darling could not stand it ... I bought myself a pancake maker. like this:

Pancake maker

We all love pancakes, but since my stove has been barricaded for a long time, the whole family has been sitting without pancakes for a year. decided to get out in this way. let's see what happens. so far we have been indulging for two days - like it.

the first batch was made according to the recipe from the instructions, it turned out not very tasty. Today I climbed the forum and found a recipe that I liked. SUPER!
only I didn’t figure it out with the t-shaped stick, because the pancakes were not very thin, but still tasty. now I have re-read / reviewed everything, thanks girls for the video - I will try to make thin ones.

I will not say anything about the speed. it seems to me in the pan the same way. but about cleanliness ... yes !!! it turns out much neater.

Now I am thinking whether it will be possible to adapt this pancake maker for potato pancakes and for scrambled eggs ... if so, then this is not a pancake maker for me, but an electric frying pan.

Tell me, pliz users, which one to choose? The choice is between this Clatronic CM 3372 and Unit UGP-30 / Unit UGP-40 (2 replaceable panels for 1 large and 4 small pancakes). Maybe there are some peculiarities, but I don't know about them, but it's worth paying attention. Thank you!

You see how everything in this world is relative. And I just did not get accustomed to the same (it is in the box). And I bought a cast-iron frying pan, I literally grease with a drop of oil with a brush and pancakes:

I will not tell you about the features. but I had a very clear selection criterion - minimum space. I have very little space in my kitchen, so I didn't need a large model. and most importantly, when folded, it could be shoved anywhere. I don't really like it when the device has a bunch of spare parts.
Ksyushk @ -Plushk @
SupercoW, no, well, is she normal, then at least a pancake maker, fries decently? I haven’t come across Klatronic yet. So I ordered a 3in1 and an egg cooker at bargain prices. I'll try, they do the faq. If the pancake maker is decent, then you can take it. My mother has Tefal for 4 pancakes, but I would have a big one, on it and without a replaceable panel you can pour a spoon and there will be small pancakes-pancakes. Now this is the only way I fry on the stove, in a frying pan with small pancakes, because the stove swears and turns off, you raise the frying pan. And my husband only enjoys big pancakes at his mother-in-law

I still have a short friendship with her, but it seems like friendship.
fried pancakes all last weekend, now we will again. she fries well, I liked it. I personally felt more comfortable than in a frying pan - nothing splashes, does not blur, does not stick. the pancakes are the same.
I didn’t turn out very thin, but that’s because I hadn’t learned how to use the T-stick yet. I will train today.

for the very first pancakes I took the recipe from the instructions - no ice. but by THIS the recipe turned out to be my dream pancakes.

So I also thought about buying a pancake maker. The eldest daughter is very fond of pancakes, But there is no special time with the baby. With such a device, it will probably be easier and faster. Girls, tell me, please, which model is better to take, what should you pay attention to? And if there is not enough dough to fill out all the forms, can you bake on the rest? Thank you!
Alinenka
Hostess, what is more convenient? Crepe maker like Severin and Klatornik or submersible? We have the following options:

Moreover, both submersibles are even cheaper (850 and 1000) than Severin (1350), and a similar Unit (1100).

I can only answer for myself. There are both options - stationary and submersible (upper, Ariete). When you need a little pancakes, I use a submerged one. In Shrovetide I use everything, plus the pans.

It seems to me (I myself do not have such a pancake maker) that these faces are simply cut out of the finished pancake, like cutting. Although I may be wrong
pulkeria
I sit baking pancakes with a laptop on my knees. This is of course very convenient. But it turns out faster in pans. And I also read that in a submerged pancake maker, pancakes are baked from both sides at once and do not need to be turned over. I can't do that. I sit and turn over. The baking process itself is much easier than in a skillet. And the pancakes are completely different, baked. Already began to think about buying a second to help.
pulkeria
Well, I'm done. I got involved in the process - I liked it very much. The pancakes are excellent. I smeared each pancake with melted butter, so that they are not dry, everything is more deplorable in the pan. By time:
cooked according to the recipe:
4 eggs
4 tablespoons butter, melted
4 tablespoons sugar
2 cups of flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 glasses of warm milk.

A decent amount came in. The total cooking time took 1 hour and 45 minutes.

Ksyushk @ -Plush @ right, just cut Mickey Mouse out of the finished pancake. There, even on the cutting side, the edge is sharpened. You can cut through a small stack of pancakes right away.
