Pumpkin soup with lentils (on the stove or in a slow cooker)

Ingredients

raw pumpkin 250 g
carrot 1 PC
bulb 1 PC
red lentils 1 st
water ~ 2 liters
olive oil 3 tbsp
salt
paprika 1-2 h l

Cooking method

  • Chop the onion, grate the carrots on a coarse grater, cut the pumpkin into thin cubes. Put everything in a saucepan or a deep frying pan and fry until the onions are transparent in 1 tbsp of olive oil.
  • Transfer to a saucepan, add rinsed lentils, remaining oil, salt and wig.
  • Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and cook until lentils are soft, about 20 minutes.
  • In a multicooker, first fry everything in the BAKING mode, pour in water and cook in the STEAMING mode - 10 minutes.
