Creamy curry sauce

1 onion
1 small apple
200 gr cream or sour cream
about 300 ml water or broth
1 regular rounded tablespoon flour
1 teaspoon of curry powder
30-40 gr butter
salt, pepper, sugar to taste

The only condition is that cream or sour cream should be sweet, never sour!

Peel the onion and apple, finely grate or grind with a blender into gruel. Place in a heavy-bottomed saucepan or ladle, add cream or sour cream, stir, bring to a boil and simmer over very low heat.
Mix flour with curry powder, fry in butter (about 20 g), gradually, with constant stirring, pour in water or broth, boil for several minutes until thickened. Mix with the creamy mass, bring to a boil. At this stage, you can bring the sauce to the desired thickness by adding more water or broth. Season to taste with salt, pepper and sugar. Add another piece of butter to the sauce, add some curry powder again, bring to a boil. Done.

The sauce is sooo delicious and turns the most ordinary boiled rice with turkey breast fried with onions into something unusual and delicious!
