Universal sauce

Ingredients

sour cream 200 gr.
mayonnaise 200 - 250 gr.
parsley and dill
garlic 0.5 - 1 clove
hard cheese 30 gr.
pickled or fresh cucumber 1-2 pcs.

Cooking method

  • This sauce is suitable for all dishes: meat, mantam, dumplings, khinkals and other dough dishes, potatoes (especially cooked whole), fish. Very good with grilled chicken. We sell it separately to her, and according to this recipe you can make it yourself.
  • Prepare all ingredients. Wash the greens and chop finely, rub the garlic and cheese on a fine grater. Peel the cucumber and rub on a fine grater, squeeze, but not completely (leave a little liquid).
  • Universal sauce
  • Mix all the ingredients and serve with your favorite meal.
  • Universal sauce

Time for preparing:

10 min.

Note

Place the garlic according to your taste. If you want it sharper, add more. But consider what kind of cucumber you are doing, if with salted - even a small amount of garlic can make the sauce too spicy. Cheese is added as desired. It's also very tasty without cheese. The cheese adds a creamy flavor and adds tenderness. Fresh cucumber will add freshness to the sauce, salty - spice. Sometimes I put both in equal amounts. If you do not add cheese and garlic, then you can serve it with fish. Also very tasty !!! Also, this sauce can be used when baking stuffed vegetables - grease the top instead of mayonnaise, for pizza - grease the base. In general, a large field for experiments !!!!

Mmm yummy! Reminds of the Greek sauce "Dzadzyki", and what are the mantas, mmmm

Very appetizing! How long can you store?

This sauce has one drawback - it ends very quickly !!! But seriously - it will stand for 2-3 days.

I am not a fan of dzaziki, but this sauce, with all the initial skepticism, conquered.
The cucumber was added both fresh and pickled. All components were mixed "by eye".
The sauce is moderately spicy, with a "smooth" creamy note. Very harmonious!
I went to dumplings and white steamed fish with a bang.
Thanks a lot for the recipe!

It looks like one of the simplified versions of the classic French tartare sauce.
Simplified doesn't mean tasteless!
