 Ayers Rock (Ayers Rock, Uluru), lying in the center of Australia, 320 kilometers southwest of the city of Springs, is the largest in the world. Its circumference reaches over 8 kilometers and its height is 350 meters. It can only be climbed from the north side.
Blue on a hot afternoon, it takes on a crimson hue at sunset, rising lonely above the spiny plain lined with haunted eucalyptus trees.
The rock from which the rock is built is still unsolved; some geologists believe that it is a monolith of iron ore of meteoric origin, but others believe that it is sedimentary sandstone. And the indigenous people of Australia say: "The rock fell from the clouds many years ago, in the days of dreams and dreams."
 Ayers Rock is of great importance to the indigenous people of Australia, and every part of its varied forms is reflected in their legends.
The rock is strewn with caves, and some of them reach up to 800 meters in length and several tens of meters in height. It has formed three permanent pools, replenished with water seeping through cracks. Some caves have turned black from the smoke of bonfires, while in others you can always see many drawings.
These drawings are updated from time to time, but this is not done by the natives of the local Arunta tribe. The fact is that Ayers Rock and the surrounding area have been turned into a National Park, where two hotels and a campus for tourists were built.
Now the indigenous people cannot stay in caves in the summer, when the sun is beating mercilessly and water sources dry up everywhere. They cannot now make fires in caves even in winter, so that, sitting around them, they recall their legends about those distant times of dreams and dreams, when, according to their legends, the earth was young and they did not yet know a white man.
