Girls who have a wiper bar at height. Can you tell me what length is the result? Telescopic stick? Or are there two of them, under the mop and the actual cleaner are different? I’m dumb from the pictures. ((
Belka13
Bijou, Lena, includes two sticks - one for the wiper, the second with a microfiber attachment. Both are telescopic, can be fixed at any height, it is not necessary to twist to the end. Now I measured the length - it turned out 198-200 cm.
Tatoshenka, Natalia, I tried a new nozzle at work - I really liked it. Nothing flies, never touches, washes well. Moreover, a napkin from the previous model (with pockets) came up to the nozzle. In general, I am satisfied. Recommend.

Girls, good afternoon! I have a yellow little sail karcher - I don't remember the model (3.2 bars - without topping up for 1 liter). I practically don't use floor rags for my family -got sick tired of snapping them, then when wet these cotton rags stretch. .. 5 years ago, when I bought a sail, I found such plump microfiber rags, it is sooo convenient for me. Here are just what they do not remember ... I took it to the store, it was already closed, maybe someone will like the idea itself. It is convenient to wash deaf windows (I have such) from the street, the rag holds well.

Thank you!!
And from two to two meters you cannot make one to four?
And the one with the nozzle, how does it wash? Like an ordinary mop, wet it - wipe it? The sprayer is not there?
Belka13
Bijou, Lena, Bijou, Lena, will not work. There are latches. And handles at the end. Twisted and twisted, it will not work. The Germans
There is no sprayer. The napkin is just glued. It needs to be wiped dry after a steam cleaner.

Then the question is how to throw a steam cleaner to such a height.

Okay, if there are so few meters in the end, and how and how to wash up there before the windshield wiper sucks in the remaining dirt, it is not clear, then I’ll try to figure it out myself, somewhere there’s a long aluminum rod from a net for cleaning the pools.
Belka13
Bijou, Lenamaybe climb a ladder? I have an apartment, the ceiling height is small.
What is your height?
Bijou

What is your height?
We have the height of the stained-glass window along the stairs, almost two floors. ((From the inside, you can somehow reach from the stairs (one corner section remains uncovered), but the outside is a pipe.
Belka13
Oh oh! How high! My head is already spinning on the stool.
We'll have to buy a robot for cleaning glass
Bijou
Uh-huh. And stick on the upper glass by simply throwing it up.))
Belka13
Yes, unfortunately, I haven't learned how to step over Hobot frames yet
Csscandle
Girls, I'm here for you, I'm now the lucky owner of a little white sc2. And immediately the question is, are there any gloves to avoid burns? It's about a free hand.
Zamorochka
Csscandle, Yulia, Congratulations!
I do not use gloves as I have not had any attempts at burns. When is it supposed that the free hand can get burned?
Belka13
Csscandle, Yulia, I use silicone gloves. They are needed, for example, when something is being steamed by weight.
Csscandle
Olga, thank you, but it doesn't melt? Protects? And it's scary to get burned yourself and also to take away something melted from the burn))
Galina, yes, when I do something in the air or I need to turn it over and hold it. Well, I cleaned the tray, it slides, you need to hold it.Or from the bottom of the mug she cleaned the sticky glue from the label, if you don't hold it, it crawls across the table.
Svetlenki
Csscandle, Yulia, if you run past a building materials store, for example, drop by, ask them about gloves with thermal protection. For interest - touch, touch, measure ... Such can exist ...

I never thought about the need for such. But I can work with a steam cleaner with marigold dishwashing gloves. They do not let moderate steam for some time, they heat up over time, of course
Csscandle
Sveta, thank you. Yes, I'll go to the building. I thought that suddenly there were already ready-made solutions to close the "buy" on ozone and that's it, the pens were safe. Recently, my husband very seriously burned his hand with hot oil, memories are still fresh (((
Belka13
Csscandle, Yulia, I have several gloves - silicone Silikomart, a special glove that came with the Philips steamer, a double glove (silicone outside, fabric inside) made of Ribbon. They all perfectly protect their hands. I steam all clothes and curtains only with gloves, otherwise there will be a burn.
Csscandle
Olga, but "double glove ooze", in which department to look?
I have healthy mittens from Ikea, I looked at Ali now, there is thinner and it is with gloves, if I don’t find it closer, I will order with Ali.
Belka13
Csscandle, Yulia, in Lenta they are where everything is for the kitchen. I think even any cheap silicone glove will do. If only I did not let the steam pass.

Girls, I'm looking for the beginning of a discussion, but I can't find it. As I understand it, is Karcher discussed here? I wondered about the choice of a steam cleaner and hung up. Needed for cleaning the premises: tiles, plumbing, windows, etc. Areas are not small (private house). So far I have not found an alternative to Karcher, but he also has many models and the price range is significant, and the reviews are different. Please tell me the most acceptable option in terms of price-quality ratio, if this is not Karcher. If Karcher, then the model is optimal so as not to overpay for unnecessary functions. I have an iron-steam generator, but it is steamed from a vertical one as from an additional one. options would not refuse. Thanks in advance for your advice

Good day to all.
Received as a gift a steam mop H2O ....., the one that is 5 in one .... I have not tried it yet, the general cleaning is just approaching. First of all, I want to tidy up the kitchen.
Can you please tell me if it is possible to wash glossy kitchen facades with a steam cleaner? If so, what kind of nozzle, the one for the windows? And what is the steam mode? I have 4, can I try an average of 2?
Thanks to everyone who responds.

Tatalo4ka, glossy facades, I would not risk it.

Olya, chamomile,, thank you very much for the information.

Hello everyone!

First of all, I want to thank everyone who unsubscribed in this thread. I am one of those strange people who like to read a LOT about a product before buying it, even if it’s some small thing. And if it comes to serious technology, then even more so. So I read ALL of this topic before buying a steam cleaner

As a gratitude for the information received, I want to leave my own review for those who are looking for them.

I bought Kärcher Premium Easy Fix SC3. Thanks to the reviews in this thread, as well as looking at the previous model (SC2) from a friend, I took the third one because of the possibility of adding water during the operation of the unit. It is very, very convenient - every time to wait until it cools down, I would not have enough nerves. And if you get it, then you want to finish what was planned in one fell swoop, and not to arrange forced breaks. It was also important that the floor nozzle was exactly Easy Fix - in the usual model, the rag constantly flies off the nozzle (again, judging by the reviews and what I saw from a friend). In mine, nothing flies, it keeps perfectly with Velcro, and this despite the fact that I have a very embossed flooring. In my kit were three of these floor cloths (100% polyester, white).

I was hoping to mop the floor with it on the first floor, and on the second I was planning to relocate the Vileda steam mop.The plan turned out to be a failure - for my taste and for our coating, steam is too much, even on the minimum steam supply mode. Sorry. I have vinyl floors, in the form of wood-like tiles, respectively, there are joints and glue under them ... And if the steam mop gives uniform pressure and the steam supply is very small (just for sensitive coatings at minimum mode), then Kärcher left the floor too wet. No, there were no puddles, of course, but the floor was really very wet. I read that some users supply steam on the fly and then wash, but this is somehow too fussy for me. The steam mop does better. Nevertheless, it came up for a tile, there is nothing to be afraid of. But I only have tiles in two rooms, so alas ...

The second item is windows. We have 16 of them, including 5 large ones on the floor, plus a glass front door. The house is private, the area is terribly windy, there are endless farm fields nearby. Accordingly, the windows have to be washed once a week for sure. What has always annoyed me about my "normal" window cleaning system is the streak. I suspect they are provided with window cleaners. I could not cope without them With the steam cleaner, this problem has sunk into oblivion - without any additives the glass became completely invisible Although for a short time, because the wind, but this is a separate topic ... My brush attachment, on it is a white cloth with an elastic band from the set (also 100% polyester). Then I immediately remove the water with a screed, wipe the frame from below - it's done. One of these days I plan to buy a vacuum cleaner for windows, either from the same manufacturer, or Leifheit .... Let's see. I hope to use it to shorten the last stage of work - wiping the frame after screed. All in all, Kärcher has proven to be a great helper for glass cleaning.

One more point, I take it out separately, since we have a painful new house (year) and plastic windows. And apparently due to the fact that the house has not yet been completely dried (or God knows why), black mold has started up in the numerous rubber seals of plastic windows. There is a lot of black mold, with which I fought with chlorine-containing agents. But there is also constant wet dirt (wind, fields), and washing out these endless strips of rubber bands, corners, small cracks with bleach is still a pleasure, and a rag does not go everywhere. A steam cleaner is a completely different matter. First, I sprinkled regular vinegar into all these cracks (by the way, thanks for the advice, I read the method here) so as not to spray spores of living mold throughout the house. Then I put on the brush attachment (the smallest) and forward. All that remained was to wipe it dry. It's super, just for the sake of it it was worth buying it.

Kitchen - it's good to clean the microwave, oven, hood here !!! We have it huge and glass, washing it is hard labor. With a steam cleaner - very quick. There is a complete delight here. Bathroom - shower drain, tiles. Although I washed off the grout on the tile, I did not calculate the strength. I'll have to update. The toilet - here I didn't see any changes at all, as it was clean, it remained.

What's also great is that the floor nozzle (which didn't fit me) perfectly refreshes the upholstery of the sofa and armchairs. Here, of course, you need without fanaticism, so as not to get too wet. I run at full power several times, it dries up in 10 minutes completely. Kills odors, refreshes fabrics.

I also disassembled and cleaned the tumble dryer. Without a steam cleaner, I would not have done it - there are a bunch of little corners, cracks, where I simply would not have crawled with a rag. The bad smell that has been present for several months has disappeared

I read that the girls were cleaning their shoes here - I want to try it before my hands have reached it.

For ease of use - I would like to note once again the possibility of adding water! Conveniently. The wire is too short for me, 3-4 meters. I have to switch by sockets. The hose is long, very flexible, does not wrap - convenient. The steam pressure is sufficient, especially at max. mode. What is annoying - after heating and after pauses in use, you need to drain the water from the hose, there is quite a lot of it.The way out - there is always a small plastic jug next to it, where this water is drained, and it is immediately poured back into the steam cleaner. Another of the advantages is that it heats up quickly, for about a minute, so you can safely turn it off during breaks (there are buttons, convenient, no need pull the cord out of the socket) and, if necessary, turn it on again a minute before use. Since the unit eats a lot of electricity, I think it's convenient.

Visually cute, small, the size of a half of a vacuum cleaner Stored compact - the cable and hose are conveniently wound around the tubes that are in the special. holes in the steam cleaner itself.

I hope I was able to help someone in choosing. All

SoNika
Good day. Yesterday I rinsed the organza and silk curtains, despite the anti-crease regime, they were crumpled and today they have not sagged. She took out a vertical steamer and ... nothing as wrinkled or hanging. And I tried to steam with a shortened tube and a long, close and far - a sense of 0.0. Can you explain to me what the problem is? I wanted to process the fur coat, now I'm afraid to take risks, only moisture is useless, but it looks like it soars strongly. You can't go to the seller, because we have been with karcher for a long time, the iron works fine, though I'm standing like a laundry, all in a fog, I can't wear glasses.
I like to clean the tiles, stove and old dirty places, but something went wrong with the curtains ... what's the problem?
Svetlenki
Quote: SoNika
what is the problem?

There is also such an important concept in ironing with a steam generator as impact force. So I think she is weak. What model of the device? Then maybe more specific users will prompt
Bijou
SoNika, and the temperature during washing did not accidentally rise above 30 degrees?
Or else I'll ask - if you iron the edge of the curtain with an iron, the wrinkle is smoothed out?
SoNika
Lena, no, I just rinsed them.

Sveta, SC 4.100 With old dirt on the tiles, during the renovation there were unknown places, I cleaned everything, and mold, sorry in the toilet from the tiles,

(thanks to the neighbors, they drowned for many years, everything flowed behind the box until we dismantled the ceiling and were horrified ...)

also taken out, before repair. Cope with everything. The attachment was purchased separately.
Belka13
SoNika, the seller in the store warned me that I would not be able to steam the clothes with a steam cleaner normally. Even a special textile attachment won't help. Having tried to test this a couple of times experimentally, I realized that the steam cleaner could not cope. By the way, cheap Chinese jug steamers do a much better job.
SoNika
Olga, spabo, druh, I'm very upset about something. It's hard for me to remove the curtains again ... Tell me, can the floors made of resistant laminate be cleaned?
Parquet board, I understood from the reviews - nizya
Rada-dms
So I returned to the issue of acquiring a jug again, I cannot choose a more powerful and more comfortable one ... Endever had to pass, did not work ...
I ask for advice! Perhaps some people have new models that work well?
Belka13
SoNika, I wash my laminate, but rarely, no more than 1 time per month. Somehow, no one really stains the floors in the rooms, the main dirt is in the kitchen and in the bathroom. If you are still afraid, turn down the power. Or, as the seller also advised me, let off steam on the napkin in the air, and then just wipe the floors with a hot napkin.
SoNika
Olga, Thank you. I washed it, not everything, but more than half of it is for sure - what I will say is that the tiled and tiled floors are washed efficiently, but if you do not vacuum directly before that, then you have to collect pellets of dog hair, otherwise it sticks strongly, it's good that there are few of them. Laminate is easier to clean, but sticks to it even more. Best of all, the floors were washed from a parquet board, but here it is possible because the robot ran just before the floor was washed. So far, no problems arose.
Girls, tell me - mattresses, like Ascona, can you steam?
Chamomile
Quote: SoNika
mattresses like Ascona can be steamed?
We do not have Ascona, I processed a spring with independent springs (Borovichi) and my own springless from the first furniture, everything is fine.
Rada-dms
SoNika, you can handle almost everything, but you have to look at the mattress cover. And if under the cover there is the upper layer of Memori, I would not under any circumstances.
SoNika
Olga, Thank you.
Rada-dms, I don’t even know, I’m a kettle in this, I ordered all 5 years ago the "Lazurit" bedroom all at once, with a bed, wardrobes, dressers ... I know that the sides of the "Winter-Summer" mattress and that's it
Rada-dms
SoNika, there must be a document to the mattress! Search! But I think that there is no memorial, it is usually an expensive option. I also have a lapis lazuli bedroom ... BUT I bought the mattress separately.
SoNika
Rada-dms, sister

no, in my opinion, already the 2nd repair, partially passed, I won't find it ... We then collected a lot of furniture for us, and they gave us this mattress ... Everyone says that Asconas are bad. I have no complaints yet, for 5 years.

Rada-dms
SoNika, sometimes it stinks ... You're in luck!
SoNika
Rada-dms, apparently yes Thanks for the advice.
Bijou
Why does the mattress need steam?
Svetlenki
So I immediately thought about this to vacuum with a special nozzle - there are no questions, but to blow a wet environment in there ... the big question is why
kartinka
Maybe someone will come in handy - I have flower pots - especially not to drag, I steam all the flowers (without close fanaticism) they like. ..
Irina13
Good day everyone!
Can you please tell me (otherwise the head is already swollen from information) - is the SC 1 (Karcher) steam cleaner on average enough for cleaning? I don’t want a floor polisher, and I don’t want to overpay for it.
+ Will it be possible to wash the windows (you will have to buy a nozzle)? Or is it better (and easier) to buy a window cleaner right away?

Thank you in advance! Irina.
Bijou
Irina13, well, in principle, it is more convenient to operate with a tube on a flexible hose than a weighty bottle on an outstretched arm. But the question of price has not been canceled, of course ... ((

From my personal point of view, the purchase of a steam nozzle for windows is not particularly justified, except that there is nowhere to put money.)) Anyway, collect dirty water below with rags. That is, it is better to invest in a window. But if in the house only windows fall under such a sink, then you can save on this too - a convenient silicone scraper and a microfiber cloth for collecting dirty water work wonders.

But mirrors around the house and a lot of tiles on the walls already make the purchase of a water pump justified, IMHO. I walk on mirrors and tiles with an ordinary wet rag (you can even without a detergent) and wash it with glass - it's clean around. If instead of it a regular scraper, there would be drops and streaks in the places of the drive. It is not difficult to collect with a rag, but you can also not collect.
eta-007
Irina13, Ir my sc1 is white. It differs from yellow by fastening a rag for the floor (it has latches). A couple is enough for 7 minutes. To wash the floors in the kitchen (linoleum, 20 sq. M) without problems. Suitable for mirrors, walls and ceilings in the bathroom. Do not forget that the button is not fixed in it! That is, one hand is busy all the time. He's very good in the kitchen! Facades, stove, sink - no problem. Moreover, I have a stone sink (you can't pick up chemistry for clarification). I didn't wash the windows - I'm lazy. Carrying an extension cord along the street is still a pleasure. Easier to mop for windows. I do not recommend washing the laminate. Ruined a couple of boards in the room. Still, the water from it is too much for the laminate.

And so a good device. Small. Doesn't take up much space. Microfiber rags are suitable from fixprice. RUB 50
Irina13
Good day!
Who can advise on the MIE technique? 3 year warranty.

At MIE there is now a discount (a little tempting) on the MIE Juno Steam Cleaner, 7,493 rubles (instead of 9,990 rubles).
I can't insert a photo, but the description is here (with free abbreviations):
"The boiler of the device is made of high-quality and durable metal alloy. The volume of the boiler of the steam cleaner is 1.1 liters. This size allows you to work with steam continuously for half an hour. The length of the electric cord is 2.8 m, and the length of the steam hose is 1.5 m. ... The appliance has a stand with wheels, which makes it easier to move around the apartment ... The steam pressure is 4 bar, the steam boost is 5 bar, and the power of the steam generator is 1500 W.
The largest nozzle is the wide floor mop. If desired, 2 additional bristled brushes can be inserted into the mop frame. This turns the mop into an effective carpet cleaner.
There is also a rectangular glass nozzle. Two round brushes with coarse bristles, nozzle. A nozzle for upholstered furniture. "(If I'm not confused, there are a lot of nozzles)

Is it worth SC 2 or SC 3 instead of Karcher, is there only 3.5 bar?
Or is Karcher a Karcher?

Thank you in advance!

P.S. I know the fact that SC 3 has a water filling function.

Hello everyone. I talked with a refrigerator repairman about how to quickly defrost a refrigerator - a refrigerating chamber (removing a snow-ice coat). He said that he does not recommend the use of a hair dryer (I really love this method) and any other devices that can provoke a strong temperature difference between the plastic inside the refrigerator. Firstly, there is a risk of microcracks, and secondly, when heated, the plastic expands, and on the back wall along the plastic there are tubes with refrigerant. The plastic will "move away" from them and condensation may form there inside.

We remove the fur coat only with a special plastic spatula, which usually comes with the refrigerator.

I do not pretend to be true, I just decided to share the opinion of a specialist, if that.
