ala
I wrap the corn peeled from the leaves in a wet paper towel and "cook" in the microwave for 8-10 minutes at full power.
Bishka
Girls, can anyone tried to bake a pie from yeast dough in the microwave? I did not find something in the recipes
Mirabel
Girls and boys!
Do you need a rice cooker and a steamer for a micra on the farm? It seems like there are multicooker and a double boiler, or maybe in a micra you can somehow quickly boil vegetables for a couple or something?
eye
Vika, the easiest way is in a package, in its own juice it turns out.
neither a multicooker can replace a microwave oven for me, and its efficiency is several times higher.
Mirabel
Tatyana, yes, it does not replace me either, but here is another discount on a rice cooker and a separate steamer for the microwave. And I thought, maybe we should take it sooner.
and in which package is the easiest? So what? and vegetables and cereals?
eye
no, the current washed vegetables whole in a salad, vinaigrette, and so bake potatoes.
rice in time is not much faster than usual, but also an option, I cooked in a glass pan, it was.
if you need to cook already chopped vegetables, in the same saucepan, a little to the bottom of the water, oil can also be added immediately.
and we had a double boiler in the kit, for a year and a half it never came in handy
Mirabel
eyeThank you, Tan, so I don’t buy.
gala10
And I have been using a microwave steamer almost daily for 10 years. And it's very convenient for me.
Mirabel
Galina, Gal, for vegetables? it also seems to me that this is more convenient than a bag .. it is necessary to close it or tie it up somehow, but here everything is laid down and hello
Probably I can do without a rice cooker, but I will still order a double boiler.
I recently bought silicone popcorn sweat in micr. It seems like do this pop = corn and suddenly, but it is much more convenient to use a cup with a lid. Popcorn is valid
gala10
Vika, I boil potatoes for a couple, basically. You can also any other vegetables.

And I have a strange question in connection with conservation - is it possible to sterilize cans in a microwave oven? That would be good.
Kokoschka
Mila56, I always sterilize there
Mila56
Kokoschka, Lilia, and it is possible in more detail, it is very important now. For how long? How much power? half-liter and liter. Put the bottom of the jar in the bottom (then there is condensation, moisture). Or put the jar upside down? Although, in principle, you can probably sideways. And how many jars can you put in at the same time, and in this case for how long?

I put as many cans as fit. I pour about a centimeter of water, time - by selection, so that the water in the jars boils.

Anna1957, Anya, can you sterilize cans of salads? And how long does it take?

I haven't tried it, but I think you can. Just by analogy with cooking, for example, vegetables for vinaigrette.

Anna1957, Anechka, can you sterilize jars of salads? And how long does it take?
I do not Anna1957, but I will answer. I not only sterilize the jars themselves in the microwave, but also sterilize the workpieces. Put tomatoes in 1 liter jars with spices, pour with brine (whatever you like) and at full power for 5-8 minutes. depending on the number of cans (until the liquid boils). Without covers, of course! Then pull out and roll up.They are in the closet in the apartment.
Anatolyevna
svetta, I just do not want to sterilize on gas. Many thanks to you! In season, the advice is very useful!

I rarely make such salads now, but I used to choose recipes without sterilization. I just put hot blanks in sterile jars and rolled them up. It's easier for me And my mother has to be sterilized - it's easier than proving to her that it is possible without her
Longina
I tried to sterilize cans of canned food, they quickly start to run away. And I constantly sterilize empty jars, 1 st. l. pour water there and 5min at full power.
Anna1957
Yes, don't forget about the power. I just sterilized the jars. I think: why doesn't it boil for so long? And my penultimate power was

Thank you girls for the answers, otherwise I would have shoved cans without water.

- I agree with Sveta, just yesterday I did this, there was a jar of assorted cucumbers with tomatoes, I made them cut in large pieces, quickly and conveniently.

I pour about 3 cm of cold water, 0.5 cans -5 minutes, 1 l -10, two-liter also 10, I put it lying down, water - so as not to pour out lying down. but my turntable stove doesn't have

And today I sterilized condensed milk. They brought me 4 kg of boiled and raw in a film, such as packed sausages, on order. I was afraid that I wouldn’t lie, so I warmed it boiled in a micra in jars for 7 minutes and rolled it up to the impossibility of - it’s faster at times than fiddling with pots. But I doubt it with a raw odd - probably it will be the old-fashioned way on the stove. What do you think, girls and boys?

Tanya, I have no experience in sterilizing food in the micron, but logically it should not differ from the stove. Well, do not top up to the very neck, otherwise someone ran away (salad, in my opinion). Well, watch out, probably, so that it does not burn out - chocolate loves, for example, to burn. In short, I would try a small jar.
Scarlett
Annushka, it’s so, but that milk - will it wash off or burn? In short, while there is no order with raw condensed milk, let’s lie down with sausage, and for now I’ll think about it and, if anything, I’ll report back
Varenka, by the way, in these minutes I started to boil right in the jar - not all, but the volcanoes appeared
And about chocolate - for sure, it is worth a little overheating - and here you are, eat burnt. But then it also depends on the chocolate, and sometimes not on the brand, but, apparently, on the batch (some manufacturers -)

Recently I discovered the microwave cooking of pasta. True, this was described in the instructions for my stove, but who of us reads those instructions to the end.

Pour 250g of pasta into a microwave container (I have a glass pan of 2.5 liters), add salt, pour 1 liter of boiling water. Put in the oven and cook at full power (I have 900 W) for 10-11 minutes. Without cover! Stir several times during cooking. Let stand for 3-5 minutes, drain the water through a colander. Done!
For me, this method turned out to be much faster than boiling water on an electric stove and boiling horns on it. Klats the electric kettle, while it is warming up, by the way - very quickly, I poured the shells into the pan, salted it, poured it with kapitochka and into the stove. While the salad has been tilted, it's ready! But nothing will escape from the pan and stick to the bottom.
Mirabel
svetta, Brilliant! I will definitely try!

I have a Whirlpool and a double boiler. Also for 10 years I cook rice only in it. I pour 1: 2 and set the time as indicated on the package. Usually 20 minutes, yesterday I cooked brown rice - 35 minutes. I don’t salt, it turns out rice to rice, very convenient. I also do steamed fish, especially good mackerel, trout or salmon steaks. Dill stalks in the belly, lemon circles on top. I did that and dorado and sea bass, whatever. Delicious and low-fat. And recently I made pike perch under marinade. I steamed the fillet, then fry - onions, carrots, tomatoes, bell peppers in a micron in a saucepan with butter. I mixed everything, salt, peppercorns, a little apple cider vinegar, and voila! Simple and delicious. And I also have a microvoltage mode with convection, I bake chicken, meat, and ham and boiled pork in a bag or pastry paper.
Natusichka
Sveta, thanks for the advice. I completely agree with you ... who reads this instruction ?!
Scarlett
Natusichka, the instruction for household appliances in the Russian version should begin with the words: "Well, have you already broken it?", because in other versions we rarely read it ((I usually start, and then)
Scarecrow
Scarlett,

No, it should begin with the words: "you pressed all the buttons and turned all the knobs, but you still can't do anything? Instructions !! This is what you need!")))

I am like a lady from those. education, until I study the instructions, I will not turn on anything, and my husband will not allow me (labor protection and safety, you will not be spoiled here!). But for some reason, the recipes given do not inspire confidence in me, I cannot explain. I use very few recipes, mostly those given for "Auto Cooking" - there is such a function in my oven. The mackerel turns out well, simply delicious, quickly and simply !!!
Rusalca

I realized that I had to study my instructions. It turns out that there is a lot of interesting and unknown in it!
I will say more. A long time ago, when I bought the first stove, I bought a huge book "Microwave Cooking", which still serves as a decoration of my kitchen interior. And no more.
