And I have another question .... Can I? Everywhere it is written that the weight of the largest size roll is 1200g, and I have a little over 900. Why?
depends on the recipe. if rye flour and fillers are included: sausage, cheese, etc., then it will be 1200 if in principle

Girls, help urgently! What to do?
An hour and a half ago I finished baking in the "Rye bread" program, 3 hours 30 minutes. She pulled out bread, a bucket, washed everything, and wiped it off with a dry towel. I decided to put a second loaf, also rye, for my son. I put all the components in a bucket, turned on the HP. BUT! Doesn't switch from Basic to Rye, and anywhere else !! No buttons respond: neither Program, nor Mode, nor Crust, nor Size.
Display shows Main, BAKE, 4:00, Rest. That is, I understand that baking starts in Basic mode.
Now I have turned off HP. Does anyone know what the problem is? Help, I beg you !!
natushka
Mi-Lena! Maybe they didn't give HP to cool down properly?
ludast
Thanks a lot for the clarification! Yesterday I baked bread with raisins, everything worked out.

I would say that the point is in the oven, in as You bake ...
Have you ever baked the dough from a bread machine?
Admin
Quote: mmarinas

again, a dry crust turned out. What is the reason for this? Thank you!

Depends on the composition of the dough (it should be soft, but not rubbery) and how long you bake by time in the oven, the dough is thin and should not be baked for a long time
Look at the pizza dough recipes on the forum, and choose the best for yourself, to your taste
Rina
mmarinasAlso, what recipe do you use to bake bread and what do you do with it after the signal to end baking?
mmarinas
After the signal, I immediately take out their HP, leave them in the form but cover them with a towel, then grease them with olive oil and cover them again with a towel. I think maybe I'm overdoing it with flour? I have no scales, I measure it with glasses. 250 ml approx. 160 g
mmarinas
I take the recipe from the instructions or from the website, but I try to follow the instructions, and I also have pressed yeast, I take about 1 tsp.
mmarinas
Yes, Admin, the dough has some rubberiness
mmarinas
lana7386, yes, I baked before, there were all kinds of things, sometimes very cool!

I mean that you are friends with your oven? Typically, recipes indicate baking temperatures and times, with or without steam. Here are the nuances that affect the crust in particular
And in HP the crust is rough ... So Admin and Rina72 advised you what to look for

I have no scales, I measure it with glasses. 250 ml approx. 160 g

One 250 ml glass. holds about 140-150 grams of flour.
For 100 grams of flour, you need 2 grams of fresh yeast.
For 500 grams of wheat flour, you need about 1.5-1.7 tsp. (no top) dry yeast

Rina
For a bread machine, I can advise:
track the bun so that the dough is not overly steep. After baking, leave the bread in the bucket until the "grip" state, that is, so that the bucket and bread can already be taken with bare hands. The slightly sweaty crust will dry up until the bread is completely cool, but there will be no such loss of moisture and shrinkage, as when taking out the bread hot from the bucket.
mmarinas
Rina72, thanks! Next time I will reduce the flour, try to bake less in the oven, and do not take it out of the HP immediately after the signal.
Thanks for your feedback! It's so great that you can consult like this, get answers from knowledgeable people! Great! I have been experimenting with my Panasonic for a week, during this time I baked milk bread 3 times, 1 cupcake, made a dough for dumplings and glued 160 pieces, made a pizza dough, and baked it !!! Considering that I leave for work at 8 in the morning and return home after 20, and this week - 3 days and after 23 !!!!

That's for sure! True, I am already afraid of the waist, for the rest of the household this problem is not acute. I treated colleagues at work, some are already thinking about buying HP
Kakirka
Hello,
The other day we presented a Panasonic SD-256 bread maker, I'm going to try it out in the near future, as soon as I purchase all the necessary products.
I was puzzled by the absence of the "rye bread" program, which is available in the 257th model, as I like to eat black bread more.
Please tell me how you can (and is it possible at all) to get something similar to rye bread from this model? Can I use mixtures containing this flour?
And then the instructions describe various horrors about a burnt out motor when kneading rye bread, if the bread maker is not intended for this.
Lana
Kakirka 🔗
Welcome to the site!
Your model will successfully bake black bread! Rye dough is not denser than dumplings, it is rather viscous!
Meet the recipes, read A beginner's guide , ask what is not clear, and you will bake whatever bread you want!
Kakirka
Lana7386
Thank you for your advice, I am very glad that there is an opportunity to get what you want.
I will look at recipes and experiment.

Hello everybody! Recently I became a happy owner of HP and I am gradually mastering the baking wisdom. I recently faced such a problem. I needed to prepare yeast dough for buns, I chose the dough program, which involves a cooking time of 2 hours and 20 minutes. The recipe states that the dough preparation time should be 1 hour and 30 minutes. I left it on for 2 hours and 20 minutes, the dough came out ok, but it could have come out even better if I had reduced the cooking time. How can you do this, maybe someone will tell you?
Rina
Feature automatic bread makers in general, and especially Panasonic, in that the program is designed to obtain a stable result under any external conditions at exactly the appointed time. Taking into account the "leveling" time, your dough will be cooked for an hour and a half. If you really want to shorten the time for yeast dough, use the "pizza" program, but it has a slightly different algorithm and the result for bakery dough will not be guaranteed.
MrsBlackbird
Thanks for the answer! The main thing is that I am satisfied with the result, and some skills in handling HP will appear over time. With such a wonderful forum, it will be much easier to do this)) Now I am thinking about the process of making rye bread, there is no special scoop and there is no program either, so I will have to be very careful about the selection of the recipe. The first thing that has already been purchased is the flour itself))
And another question, where are your stoves during cooking? I was very worried that she would not fall off the table (I thought that during the kneading there was a vibration that could move the stove), although the surface of the table is an ordinary flat table top. I put it on a tiled floor for safety reasons. But it doesn't seem like a very suitable place there. In short, isn't it dangerous to leave the stove on the tabletop, isn't it moving? On the tiled floor, I did not notice any movement.
Rina
Panasonic generally work very quietly, almost without vibration. My stove is generally on the corner of the countertop, to the brim from one side and 3-4 centimeters in front.
ludast
Hello! And I have another question. I made dough in HP, I liked it very much. But the suggested dosage is too small for my family. But you can't increase the number of products, do I understand correctly? Need to bet several times?
Rina
The instructions say that the maximum load is 600 g of flour. If you need more, use the pizza program, remove the kneaded dough and add the next portion. And the dough will have to partake not in a bread maker, but in a bowl or saucepan under a towel.
ludast
Thank you!

Now I'm thinking about the process of making a rye bread, there is no special scapula and there is no program either, so I will have to be very careful about the selection of the recipe. The first thing that has already been purchased is the flour itself))

Try this bread-https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=23902.0, I have it better than all rye, maybe you will like it
Kakirka
2 days after the purchase, I baked a wonderful "Milk bread" according to the recipe from the attached instructions.
It turned out to be so tasty that I could not resist with my family and snapped up, in the end I did not have time to photograph and report on my first achievement
But, the question of rye bread is still haunted. The forum has useful tips that you can knead it, for example, in the "pelmeni" mode, then stand for an hour, an hour and a half, and then bake for 60 minutes, but how can I measure these minutes, on what mode?
I would like to find a clear instruction on the entire process for HP256. And then I do not understand what is happening in all modes in stages in my HP, and the instructions on this matter are silent. Can someone tell me?
Rina
Load the ingredients, set the program "dumplings" or "pizza", start the program for execution. After about 15-20 minutes, reset the program. Leave the stove alone for an hour and a half. Then set the baking program for 60 minutes.

set "baked goods" for 60 minutes:
1. Select the "baking" mode with the "mode" button.
2. Using the "timer" button, set 60 minutes.
3. press the "start" button
mmarinas
Please tell me if malt can be replaced with beer, because it is cooked with malt. I cannot find malt on sale in our city.
Rina
I haven’t read about using beer as a complete substitute for malt. Can you find kvass concentrate or dry kvass? This should definitely do the trick.

I had to bake bread with beer, but I replaced no more than half of the water (alcohol from beer can inhibit the yeast), and lowered the amount of sugar in the recipe.
mmarinas
Thank you, Rina72, I'll look for kvass.
mmarinas
I bought a package of homemade kvass and baked custard bread from the instructions, but according to the method from our website, it turned out great! The only thing I didn't like was very sweet: and sugar 2 tbsp. spoons, and honey 2 tbsp. spoons. Next time I don’t want to add sugar, but I’m afraid it will affect the quality of the bread, how it will rise ...
Rina
It will be good to rise. Large amounts of sugar can seriously inhibit yeast performance. So reducing it can be beneficial.

By the way, I make bread from 200 g of wheat + 200 g of rye flour, and so, 40 grams of honey is noticeably sweet. My husband demanded a smaller amount, and I just love to feel the sweetness in such bread. Therefore, we agreed on 30-35 g of honey (five grams still affect the sweetness).
mmarinas
Thank Rina72
mmarinas
Can you please tell me why my cupcake is burning, although I'm doing everything according to the instructions? If I shorten the baking time, will the cupcake bake inside?
Elrick
also accidentally sitting at work and looking through the website of an electronics store came across such a product as bread makers - I thought about it and decided to buy. as a result, today I baked my very first bread - the simplest and smallest in size but tasty ... very satisfied, now I am not naked for a bun in the store ...

Listen, I didn't understand something:
I decided to bake bread with raisins, covered everything except the raisins, turned it on, the time was displayed 47 minutes before the raisins were to be placed. came when it was 0, fell asleep raisins, and where to reap next? I tried to start again, but the program did not start ... did I click the wrong direction?
in general, I re-set the program to ordinary bread without raisins

You start the Program one times and don't interfere anymore, because your HP is clever, she will do everything itself to the end, a sound signal that you need to get ready bread! Good luck! Trust HP, read the Instructions, check only Kolobok (this is distrust of flour!). Happy New Year and Merry Christmas! 🔗

Friends, I don't know where to write about my problem. I apologize if this has already been discussed.

I have a bread maker for about 3 weeks. There are no complaints about it, the quality of the bread is simply excellent, it always turns out excellent. But here's what I noticed: HP starts to sew up the dough at different times! I always bake the same bread (main) with the same recipe every other day or so. The first three or four times, my Panas started kneading after 25 minutes (when the timer was 03:35). But one day I noticed that at this time HP has not started the process! I waited a little, looked in - and everything is as I put it. I did not understand what was the matter, and started the program again. The same story. I waited. And exactly after it (on the timer 03:00) she began to knead. The bread ended up being good as usual. She kneaded one or two more times after an hour, and then suddenly started kneading again after 25 minutes! And today - again in an hour!

Please help me understand what's going on! Is it something with the stove?
I repeat, I always bake the same bread, the recipe is the same.
What can be wrong?
Rina
wilama, your stove is absolutely all right!

Please read about features of Panasonic bread makers and about equalization of temperatures

In your case:
1. there could be different temperatures in the kitchen (a little warmer and the stove starts kneading later).
2. there could be a different temperature of the stove itself (if shortly before that something was baked).
3. in the case when you reset the program, the stove went to work for the second time according to the same algorithm, i.e. it took into account the same temperature.
wilama
Rina72, thank you very much for responding!
I really haven't read about the features of my bread machine, thanks for pointing to the link! I have not yet mastered the forum everywhere
In the future, I will pay attention to the conditions under which bread is baked in order to understand the pattern.

What for do you need it regularity? Every time everything will be different and you will not come to any conclusion ... Trust HP, read about the dough, the products-components, about their influence on the final result, about the dependence Kolobok - crumb structure - ingredients, etc. improve bread, achieve what you love in it. Let the stove bake itself, smart people have already done everything when it was invented ... Let it "click and go from operation to operation"
Happy bread!
