Orange drink
Category: Drinks
Ingredients
Oranges 3-4 pcs.
Citric acid 50 g
Sugar 1 kg
Water 8 l
Cooking method

Finely chop 3 large or 4 small oranges (together with the peel), cover with 50 grams of citric acid and refrigerate for a day.
Pour a liter of water, boil over low heat for 30 minutes.
Cool, mix with a mixer until smooth. Add a kilogram of sugar, pour seven liters of water and, stirring occasionally, bring to a boil.
Cool down. Pour into beautiful bottles or decanters.
Comments
- Taste on par with the average orange drinks found in the average store
- It is better to remove a part of the peel after a 30-minute boil, otherwise it may happen that the taste will not taste pleasantly pleasing bitterness, but rather pronounced bitterness (although some will like it). And you can do it like this: peel the orange, cut the yummy separately (just do not eat everything during the cutting process), separately the peel. If you cook without the peel at all - there will be no "juice" effect, you get a liquid taste.
- if a mixer (blender) with an iron attachment, then it is not necessary to cool the mass
- it is better to add water as follows: mix the resulting mass with sugar and gradually add water, stirring constantly, otherwise the concentrate will not mix well, and the drink will not be homogeneous
- Drink better chilled

Note
I didn't seem to find anything similar here
I met a recipe 10 years ago, I certainly don't remember where.

Wow, a whole bucket of lemonade! How much can you store?
Piano
it is problematic to bring 8 liters to a boil (there is simply nothing) the largest casserole 4.5 liters

And that not a single bucket is at home?
Then divide everything by 2.

Stored for several days, up to a week. More - definitely not worth it
I usually make 4 liters myself

Somehow I made about 30 liters (they celebrated the anniversary of my aunt, there were a lot of guests, etc.). 5 liters left, my aunt was infinitely happy about it
And the husband, who at first was skeptical, very highly appreciated this drink at the end.

Better than from the store anyway!
