I welcome everyone!
For a long time I walked around the bush. I baked bread in the oven periodically, but I don't like to knead the dough. So I chose between HP and a dough mixer. There is nowhere to put both in a small kitchen, but somehow I spontaneously chose and bought a BM450. I chose between this and Panas 2502, but my own regime won the bucket's strength. I put it under the table on a stool, and it's very convenient. Made the first bread from a mixture for Borodinsky with a delayed start. Nothing woke us up at 3 in the morning, and the lukewarm bread was ready in the morning. How wonderful! We are waiting for guests on the weekend, I thought I was spending the whole Thursday evening with chabatta, but no! There will be Borodinsky and brioche and chabatta to the table, by themselves, like a self-assembled tablecloth. If only there was the same automatic salad preparation ... =)

Congratulations on your excellent choice!

Oh, as I understand you! My stove is 2 weeks old and I'm not overjoyed at it! I bake every day. I've already tried a lot of things. And wheat bread, and French, and
sweet pastries, and from ready-made mixtures. It has never happened before that something did not work out. The husband and two sons are delighted. They don't even look at the store bread.
There are also plans to bake cake and rye bread. And there are many recipes that I found here that need to be tested. So congratulations on a great purchase!
Dimtos
I boast about my wheat-rye:
🔗
🔗
🔗

300g wheat flour, 150g rye flour, 300ml water, 2 tbsp. l. malt (brew in boiling water for 5 minutes), 1 tsp. salt, 2 tsp. sugar, 1 tsp. dry yeast, 2 tsp. agram light, 2 tsp. panifarina, 1 tbsp. l. olive oil, sesame and pumpkin seeds. Baked according to the 1st program, weight 750, medium crust.

Dimtos, what a beauty!

Dear bakers, can you recommend what to do. I knead the dough for 1 kg, but then I need to make 2 loaves of it so that the chunks fit into the sandwich maker. I share, I leave the first part in the bucket, but then on the standard program I lose again 20 minutes for kneading. Where to get the standard parameters of the programs in order to set up your own as the usual 1st, for example, only without the first batch?
PS: I found it at the end of a color book, thanks to the advice from page 44!

In the process of reading, another question arose. I bought from my hands and, according to the instructions, tore off all the stickers, including the necessary ones, pasted by the previous hostess with a list of programs =) Who knows where you can buy a sticker, otherwise I'm still confused
Kolich
I am suffering with the choice of a bread machine.
there is a question Panasonic SD-ZB2502 or Kenwood BM450
who will advise what?
myjik21
rudaya about stickers can be found in service centers. Kolich take kenwood 450 you can program it yourself and bakes faster plus design.

in the thread about Panas, I was strictly discouraged from this stove, they say flimsy, the bowls exploded ...type not very high quality ...
myjik21
It works fine for me, I often use it every other day, until there are no complaints a year has passed. One minus still there is no complete freedom of programming, at the end of your program, baking is turned on, although you set the program to zero, it is inconvenient to bake rye bread with sourdough, if you bake with yeast, then there are no problems

in general, if it came to programming, then I'm considering Zojirushi Breadmaker BB-PAC20
myjik21
Programming is not particularly necessary, so slightly adjust the program for yourself with this Kenwood copes with 5 of its programs and the price I bought is 6400r

just for the same price I will find Zozirushi
what would you prefer at the same price?
myjik21
I would take kenwood, I like the design, I use the stove upside down as a shelf. Programming is not really necessary, if bread for every day is the very thing, I mean that "they do not look for good from good" about zoziruses I can not say anything on Amazon, the price is $ 280 and the voltage is 120 volts, maybe I messed up something

the design is certainly good, I do not argue, but there are a lot of defects and breakdowns with them ..... I probably would have taken Panas all the same if there was a choice between caches or Panas, but here the programming functions that are available in Zozirushi are interesting, my wife they are interesting to me,
yes, everything is correct 120 volts, but using transformers you can easily bypass these restrictions
the price of 280 is not very loyal, you can find it cheaper
But again, if we compare Panas and Kesha, what is worse in the former compared to the latter?
myjik21
I would not like to have a 600-800 watt transformer next to the stove, and if you take an advanced reducer, it would be buzzing .... On ken, people have long found a way out when baking rye with sourdough, they pull out a scapula on the "homemade dough" program. In principle, the optimal programs have already been written and written into the brains of the stove, many use program number 1 and they don't need anymore

now we weighed again with my wife and decided not to take Zozirushka, but first to do something simpler to start with, ken is certainly good because he combines both design and manual programming, plus we have all the ken and delongee equipment in the kitchen ...
But again, the most banal stupidly stupid question is, what is still better than Panas or Ken?) What are some fundamental or even not particularly critical moments in this or that apparatus?
myjik21
so Panas is not programmed ...
sazalexter
Quote: Kolich

critical moments in this or that apparatus?
Reliability if it's critical
Kolich
for example, we will leave this question of programming, and look at other characteristics or advantages of this or that device, so what can be called about the quality, quality of kneading and baking?
Kolich
Quote: sazalexter

Reliability if it's critical
in favor of Panas?)
myjik21
the quality is the same, this is my opinion, even the French bread is not much more magnificent, so it bakes there for 6 hours and in Kenwood for 3 hours. There is convection in the kena so the bread is baked well
Kolich
and in Panas it is not?
myjik21
I do not know
sazalexter
No, you don't need it, ask the professional bakers, those who bake on inverter ovens My Delongy has this stray, only the crust dries and that's it
Kolich
pluses for ken:
1) slightly programmable
2) design
Panas has reliability, although this is also all subjective, but the number of breakdowns in Ken is higher (((
Kolich
and who can bake what bread? can anyone do wheat and rye or not?
sazalexter
Anyone can do both, it does not depend on HP but on dancer baker
myjik21
Yes, it is normally programmed for each operation, you can change the time, you can bake any bread on a ken, on a Panas on the account of black, I'm not sure
Kolich
why in Panas black may not work?
Zima
Few people have both ovens in use at the same time, so few people can objectively compare "quality, quality of kneading and baking".
I remember about 3-4 years ago someone from our site had both models and conducted comparative experiments, I remember that there was a big difference in favor of Panas in the height of the loaf (the area of the buckets was almost the same for both models) on the French bread program, and on to the Basic program, the result was similar.
Of the shortcomings, Kenwood is a weak bucket. That is, not the bucket itself, but the oil seal, it burst very quickly for me, about a year after not very intensive use. They are not repaired in the service, I need to buy a new bucket, I don't know how it is now - but then it cost me about 1,700 rubles - the toad almost strangled me. There were no problems with the glass cover. Ken does not yet have the Rye bread program and a special scoop for kneading rye dough - it was interesting to try at one time what kind of "animal" it is
Everything else in the stove, when I used it, was fine with me. And the design is especially good.
myjik21
It is capricious to bake black bread; it is more difficult to bake it; it has no gluten; it does not rise very well; therefore, they use different additives, they bake not cheap additives and use only wheat flour as an additive without additives, only the dough must be monitored

Friends! I had a sad story, my family is on the verge of hunger ... help .. a pin flies out of the bucket, the one on which the paddle is put on. I can't understand how it is attached there, it happened due to the fact that the bucket was left in the water and forgotten

Love.
Something my stove does not work, it looks like the electronics flew, turned it on, and it immediately gave out the numbers 07-30, tried to turn off the stirrer, tried to turn it off, some abra-cadabra caught fire, pressed the program setting, the light came on, some clicks ... I wonder how much the repair will cost, the stove is only 2 years and 3 months old and I can't imagine life without it, during this time they never bought bread.
Elena Bo
It is always very expensive to change electronics. It's easier to buy a new one.
Love.
Elena, as I expected, faced such problems in the dishwasher and washing machine, they immediately said that it was better to buy new ones. And the bread maker started working, after writing the message I tried to turn it on again (before that I turned it on and off ten times), and the products were already in the bucket and a little mixed and, lo and behold, it turned on normally, the program was installed, the timer too, but still I decided do not leave in the morning, turned off the timer and immediately launched the program, although I had to be on duty until four o'clock, everything went fine. And what was that? The washing machine has been working for three years after the first electronics failure, the master immediately advised to throw it away, but it periodically glitches and works again, maybe the stove will still work.

Good day!

The question of choosing Panasonic 2500 (01?) And this brand. Use mainly for kneading different doughs, more steep dumplings. Which one to prefer?
Thank you!

Today my stove finally broke down, otherwise it was buggy, sometimes it didn't bake for 20 minutes, it turned off, and the screen burned to the floor and all the symbols were highlighted. Well, there is a guarantee for another 3 months, yet the flimsy model the bucket creaks in full, the blade rod dangles with might and main, I do not advise anyone to buy this model anymore

Let me disagree with you. I have had such a stove for 4 years now, it works flawlessly. All I changed in it was a bucket and that's it

We have a bread maker for 3.5 years. We changed two buckets. I think so due to the fact that I was kneading the dough for manti, dumplings, but this program is not, it's hard for her. And more recently it broke off, I do not know what to call it, well, the bucket clings to it so that it does not spin during kneading. The husband untwisted, took out this knot, carried it to the familiar locksmiths. We did something while it works. If it breaks down completely, I will buy Panassonic. There is a program for kneading hard dough and rye.

Maybe the build quality has deteriorated since then. I used the stove every other day, basically I used the stock in the bucket according to program No. 1 to start creaking 2 months ago, of course, it could be disassembled, cleaned and lubricated, basically did not do this, buy a bucket for 1700r after the end of the warranty, let it break down during the warranty period, and glitches electronics is probably a bad build.

I wanted to clarify the following question. As far as I understand, the ratio of sugar and yeast cannot be changed in the recipe, these components affect the rise of the dough, etc. And if I want to remove salt from the recipe altogether, this will not affect the quality of the bread, apart from the taste?
myjik21
the lack of salt is not that influential.

Hello! A sad event for me - after 9 months. the bucket is covered - the stock falls out, in the warranty workshop they said that the bucket is an accessory to the bread maker (to my great surprise) and cannot be replaced under warranty! - that's it! Communication with representatives of an authorized repair center is a separate topic! I called the Kenwood office in Russia - I'm waiting for a response from them. I feel great regret from the purchase of this bread machine, despite the excellent quality of baking, not a single "puncture" during operation, but the bucket has not been modified constructively !!!, the most interesting thing I have not found anywhere is which detail flew off this notorious stock that it did not keeps in a bucket, it seems corny burned out ... well, I'll buy a new bucket, the price of the question is 1700 rubles. , this is for a year of operation, then another 1700 or more, etc. So I think it's worth it? I will not recommend buying any Kenwood model to anyone I know.

I bought the stove in October 2009. The first bucket leaked almost a year later. There was a guarantee and the bucket was replaced. Then it got smudged over time, that is, now the 3rd bucket, but it still holds.

I think you need to shake the guarantee one more time. I don't know where you live and what your consumer rights are. In our country, for example, this is called the period for filing a claim (such as a guarantee). Ie.if there are complaints about the goods, they are eliminated

As for the other qualities of the stove, I am completely satisfied with it.

By the way, choosing a stove, I read a lot of reviews and did not find "eternal" buckets. There is better quality, but there are a lot of oil seals in the buckets of the same as Ken's.

Ken's bucket leak is Ken's weak point. Everyone is complaining. I have 2 HP - Kenwood450 and Panasonic255, for four years now. Ken's bucket has been leaking for 2 years, Panas works flawlessly. For myself, if necessary, I would also buy Panasonic, in all respects it is safer, and the programs in it are of better quality, compared, for example, the simultaneous baking of French in Ken and Panas, I already wrote about this in the subject and brought a photo, you can find, who needs.

I think you need to shake the guarantee again
Necessarily! Their position is clear: "Leave the stove, our specialist will do an examination within 45 days in accordance with the law, if not a warranty case, you pay for the examination" I want to wait for the answer of the office. representative. I will definitely unsubscribe. The warranty expires on December 31st with us.
Love.
hanifa, I also changed the bucket under warranty in the service center in Moscow and no questions arose, changed without problems. Try to contact the service again. Write a statement so as not to miss the time and let them officially refuse, I think they will not refuse, this is a warranty case. Look for the phone number of the official service and consult.
