Different in principle of control of the power unit
🔗
Quote:
Power regulation is carried out, as a rule, in two ways: continuously and impulse. For a series variable-frequency invertor (VFI) it looks like this. At maximum power, the stove operates at the highest frequency (usually 50-100 kHz). With a decrease in power, the frequency decreases. But lower than to about 20 kHz, the frequency is not reduced, in order to avoid the appearance of sound uncomfortable for users (people do not hear frequencies above 20 kHz). Therefore, when the power is set below that at which the inverter operates at a frequency of 20 kHz, the burner switches to intermittent heating mode: it turns on and off every few seconds. The shorter the time it turns on, the less power will be. Most modern electric cookers using resistive heating elements work the same way (at any power, except full), but with induction cookers, due to their low inertia when cooking in dishes with a thin bottom, this can sometimes cause an unpleasant "intermittent boiling" effect. High-end induction cookers are relieved of this: they use more complex schemes that can heat the dishes continuously with almost arbitrarily low power.
End of quote.

Of course ! The fact of the matter is, I say, it’s just in appearance that it’s impossible to assess the difference in class and convenience of cooking! Someone above has already noticed that he is boiling, then not boiling ...
I can give you an analogy with a microwave. I used both. Conclusions, in short, are: with the SAME power, the inverter cooks faster and better. It is because of the impulse heating, when I heat up, for example, soup, then unpleasant baked circles from burnt food form on the plate (after all, the heating is at maximum power), and in the inverter heating it goes gradually and more accurately.
The quality of winding a wire on a coil for induction can be so obscene ... And because of this, there are problems, including extraneous hum.
And there are a lot of details. Not everything is so simple ... Therefore, taking a cheaper stove, you need to prepare in advance for some discomfort.
Some time ago my relative bought a used car from me, so he is happy! although it constantly repairs! BUT HE KNEW IN ADVANCE WHAT WAS GOING ON! Didn't take a pig in a poke.
Rita
The saddest thing is that my tile, which boils and boils, is far from the cheapest and with the Kenwood brand. For its price, I would have bought at least 5 similar Chinese chats.
igorechek
I have nothing against Kenwood. But stove ovens are not their feature.
When some companies TAKE UP EVERYTHING, then they can't do everything well. This is not the best Kenwood has.

good day
I chose such a Steba IK60 hob. I would like to hear your opinions about it, I want to buy 2 of these, build one, and get the second as needed
iplate
The model is new, it looks ugly)) (but the taste and color as they say). According to the declared characteristics - the standard. The price is reasonable. So I can't say anything yet. Here is what the height is 60 mm ...... looks like above)

A big plus is the possibility of building.
igorechek
If I were you, I would take it.
Firstly, Shteba is engaged in cooking directly with kitchen appliances. This is their specificity in this. They do not go into meat grinders and blenders ... They make a narrow group: stoves, multicooker, etc.
After all, a German firm in fact.
And versatility - if you want it on the table, you want to be installed.
For example, I don't understand at all why people buy 4-burner hotplates now? ...

thank you very much, so I don’t understand. the truth is now I only have an oven, a slow cooker and a double boiler, that's just one small plate that is not enough. for me quality is important, I am ready to pay even many times more if it is an overpayment for the quality of the product.
igorechek
Then maybe you should take a built-in stove. Now there are 2 komfotochnye domino tiles. They take up little space - they are 30 cm wide and are good in terms of reliability and quality. There is Neff, Gorenje, Siemens, AEG .... The price seems to be 14000-17000.
Lenochka85
I considered the options, but my kitchen is very small and I decided, if the need arises, I will take a second one and build it next to it. it's just a matter of not turning out that the quality of the domino was significantly better than this one. then it will be a shame. I probably would have taken Neff, but I have not met in Ukraine
Galinka-Malinka
Well, I bought it today in a store for 350 UAH by Hilton.
I didn’t listen to you, but thank you so much for the advice, I will take them into account when I buy tiles home. In the meantime, I decided on this one, because we did not have a choice in the city. And I didn't want to order something expensive for a robot, because no one wants to appreciate someone else's.
The price was 370 UAH, but they made a discount and gave it away for 350 UAH. In the net, the lowest price that I have seen is UAH 300 + delivery + money transfer, I don’t know if I would have invested in UAH 50 or not.
So far, I have only positive emotions. Buzzing is not strong, but it picks strongly
The milk warmed up quickly. I'm shocked by the speed.

Galinka-Malinka, Congratulations! Pretty, little white! And what a lovely little Turk!

DAlinka-Malinka, thank you for the pictures . When there are a lot of these dishes, it looks colorful. But one ladle on a white tile looks very glamorous!

Well, it turns out 8 cm.

Galinka, and canned or boiled mushrooms? With mayonnaise?

Yulechka, well, let's put your tile 4+? What is wrong at once?

I wanted to make coffee in an enamel turkey, I wanted a little saucepan - to heat something necessary in it - and blew.
I used to think that these are all desktop induction machines, but it turns out not.

Is the future behind these tiles? My dream is to renovate the kitchen and replace appliances with built-in ones. Liked the domino tiles. I don’t know only if two burners are enough for me, now there are four, sometimes I use all of them.
Galinka-Malinka
Ritus, and where did you see the champignons?
if you are talking about a salad then:
Boiled large beans,
ham or sausage
Stew carrots with onions
Bulgarian pepper
smeared with homemade mayonnaise

Buy a second one for coffee. It turns out inexpensively. In the closet, it will take up a little space if you put it on the end.

Bad - this is only in the nomination of diameters!
For such ridiculous money, 35 bucks - what can you ask for even more - the regulator alone is worth something
Rita
Galinka! Gee ... Beans so big I thought they were champions. Thanks for the recipe!

My dad bought a tile from the same company as me, but made in the manner of Galinkina-Malinkina - a bunch of buttons, each with its own program. For tomorrow I have already agreed with him - I will go to check how his tile is riveted - whether or not it will take 9 cm.

Galinka, tested the induction cooker, but it turned out to be MK for salad! I also liked the salad, copied it myself, thanks for the recipe. By the way, I also thought about champignons, it turned out very similar to the photo, and probably you can make with champignons ...

Happy New Year to all! I want to share my experience. Our kitchen is small, so I chose a tabletop (not built-in) single-cooker induction in a pair to a multicooker. Moreover, they can give way to each other, which is very convenient in a small kitchen! The first tile was Oursson. But baking pancakes on it was problematic. The pancake maker is uncomfortable for me, I'm used to pouring pancake dough in the pan. The dip pancake maker didn't like it either. Now I have bought Steba IK50E and so far I am very happy! It makes noise like everything else, reacts quickly, it is very convenient to change the temperature, power, and timer with a "twist". Management is very clear for the elderly. I baked pancakes with pleasure and could even adjust the degree of frying of pancakes! Now I have two short-cooker sisters Steba DD1 and Steba IK50E in the kitchen of the working people, and I'm resting Induction tabletop

Good day everyone.
I've been enjoying myself for almost a month ... in general, I bought a Steba IK 60 E.
I bought it in Oz * on, for our periphery this is a real lifesaver. Since in our stores there is only Chinese-Chinese with "stocky" plastic, so I decided to take a chance and do not regret it.
Thank you Dusja Natalia for the tip

What is the difference between the plates, and which one is better to buy
steba ik23
steba ik 60 e
Profi Cook PC EKI 1034
or
hilton 3893 or 3895
or suggest your own version of a reliable induction hob
igorechek
Well, not Hilton. This is the Clathronic-Bomann level at its best.
Dronia
Which is normal for home conditions and not to overpay for the brand
Rada-dms
Not Kromax, a month later the body burst, it fries unevenly, see photos of my fish cutlets.
igorechek
Well, Shteba has a larger selection of assortments for thermal processing of products than Profi Cook, and according to reviews, they still do "thermal" equipment well. I have Shteba's devices - no particular complaints.
Dronia
Which induction hob manufacturers can you trust? For example, Steba ik 23, Steba ik 50, Steba ik 60. The declared characteristics are the same, and the prices for 23 and 60 differ by almost 2 times. How can this be explained

Dear girls and boys, in a word, experts!
Please help me with the choice of the built-in surface, otherwise the brains are boiling ... It seems, I want an induction, options are being considered:

The seller in the store advises taking a high-light, they say, induction is an overpayment of money (but they simply do not have induction cookers available).

I ask knowledgeable people for advice - which model to choose? Thanks for the help!
sazalexter
Vinnitsa, I won't say anything about Hi-light (in fact, it's just a closed heating element), I prefer induction. And the sellers are cunning, they just need to sell, they have a plan to sell everything without special preferences. Induction is more expensive, but it will pay off quickly and will only bring joy and benefit.

I have been using induction hob at my dacha for five years already. From the first month of operation, we realized that the energy savings are very significant. Believe me, we even stopped using gas, that is, we did not refuel the gas cylinder. Since a cylinder worth 600 rubles was not enough for a season, but only for a month. And with a tile we "burned" only 400 rubles. True, my multicooker is also induction. I picked up the appropriate dishes from the available ones, and that's it.
We are very happy !!!

Better induction. Everything else is definitely overpayment of money. Plus - it's safer with induction. Convenience is above all praise. The only negative is that there must be appropriate dishes.

VinnitsaWhich manufacturer is up to you. There are a number of companies whose hobs I would never buy. I can only advise what you should pay attention to when choosing (all IMHO):
1.the presence of edging along the edge - the edging is a collector of dirt, without it it is much easier to put the stove in order One way or another, the stove gets dirty, in our country it is just that the cat's hair settles, rubbed it and that's it. And since there is, although not a significant side, dirt will still accumulate.
2. Convenience in working with burners: "buttons" or a slider (ruler). Buttons are more convenient, the slider can be erased over time and where there is then to look for the right place to press ... I hope I explained clearly, this is all touch control.
3. Look at the country of origin.

We mother-in-law took TEKA for 16tr (translate how much it is in hryvnia), I don't remember the model, but 60cm and 4 burners, the control is simple, no problems, there is a timer, but she does not use it. I think, satisfied, at first I was surprised that everything was so fast)))) In general, when I monitored this issue, I stopped at Electrolux and Bose. I read reviews, watched videos on specific models of interest.

I hope I could help at least something)))
