We need some kind of hard mature cheese with a bright taste. It is also possible with something like Lambert, Emmental.

Dear comrades.

Try sprinkling finely grated Parmesan or Grano Padano on a creamy sundae.

Head off. We really like it.

To tell you the truth, I often do this when there is no decent sprinkling at hand. But somehow in a pastry shop I saw one guy pouring olive oil on ice cream - he looked very pleased.
I also know that balsamic vinegar is poured over desserts.
Scarecrow
There is ice cream with basil and olive oil, I've seen that. But I haven't tried it.

Balsamic vinegar is sweet. Therefore, there is nothing like that in it. There are a bunch of dessert sauces based on it (ready-made ones are on sale).

Good day! Tell me if anyone has such a Tefal Kids IG3005 ice cream maker, how is it in operation? Does it make normal ice cream? Should I buy it as a present for a 7-year-old girl? If this issue has already been discussed, I will be grateful if you send it to the address))

I make green tea ice cream. I tried it in Japan, now I can't live without it. Sometimes comes across in Baskin Robins and all kinds of Japanese restaurants. To obtain it, you need green tea powder Matcha (Matcha). Add it to taste in any ice cream recipe. Sometimes I even melt and stir the store when there is no time. And the color and taste are the same, correct. In Moscow, this tea is sold in the Japanese supermarket Japro. I have not found it anywhere else.
jenyasan
Bagel, Thank you. Did I understand correctly that powder should be added, nothing should be brewed? I have this tea in such plates, it crumbles in my hand, but not into dust. Shall I grind it in a coffee grinder?

Gypsy, it's better to try a hundred times than to see once

Mom now does not give me repentance, she recalls Soviet popsicles for 7 kopecks. And I found only fruit 5 kopecks each in low paper cups, in which pieces of apple seeds came across. What mom is asking for, I have no idea. Maybe someone has experimented already. Share the recipe, please. In the network I found only that there was no milk or cream there.
Kalmykova
Beat 2-3 whites until firm foam, then add 0.5 cups of sugar little by little. Separately grind strawberries (a couple of glasses or more) with another 0.5 cups of sugar with a blender, add to the proteins and mix gently. Then go to the ice cream parlor. Awesome! And very similar to that Soviet!
Ernimel
Kalmykova but in my opinion it was not purely strawberry, but fruit and berry. My mother also asked for something similar to an old fruit, but what kind of fruits and berries should I mix it with ?? ... Nothing but an apple-cherry came to mind, but the apple-cherry time has not come yet ..
NatalyaN
When Anastasia posted my recipe, then everyone said that this is exactly what was once for 7 kopecks!

Well, finally I made ice cream too ...
For two days I dabble with a typewriter ... I try ... I make small portions ... I am looking for which one I like best ... delicious ... oh, I'll have to go on a diet ...

I have never made ice cream, but here I read a lot ... dear mom, it's impossible !!!! And it all started so peacefully (with the purchase of HP), then a slow cooker, silicone molds, an egg cooker, USE thought, but no, it turns out I don't have an ice cream maker yet (my husband still doesn't know), in short, all my thoughts will now be directed to creative search. .. And today I opened the refrigerator, found there a jar of grated strawberries with sugar, given to my mother-in-law from the dacha, and a jar of homemade milk. I think let me try, whipped the collected cream + strawberries with sugar, well, in the freezer, stirred it from time to time, I tried it now, yummyoooo !!! Girls, unsubscribe to me, a burning purchase, so what are the advantages of an ice cream maker over a simple freeze?
Qween
sweeta , I didn't have an ice cream maker before and I made ice cream in the freezer. In parallel, I was tormented by the same question that you just asked:
Quote: sweeta

so what are the advantages of an ice cream maker over a simple freezer?

After I bought an ice cream maker, I can say the following:
In the freezer and ice cream maker, fatty types of ice cream (such as ice cream) are the same.
It cooks much faster in an ice cream maker - we wanted ice cream, and after a maximum of 30 minutes we are already eating it. It takes more than one hour to cook in the freezer.
Fruit ice creams (and other non-fat or liquid ingredients) are best from an ice cream maker. The freezer is not so airy, and generally different.

Definitely - if there is an opportunity to buy an ice cream maker, then buy it. You will not regret it a bit!
Teen_tinka
And I have not yet fully felt the benefits of an ice cream maker ... the experience is not enough ..
Qween
Teen_tinka, and when you didn't have an ice cream maker, did you prepare ice cream in the freezer?

Before I got my ice cream maker, I made ice cream four times in the freezer .... I just eat ice cream only in summer ... autumn and winter - I don’t eat or cook .. .... I like it ... but I don’t super-lover of ice cream, and the family, too, have not overeated on them before ... except at sea ... 3 times a day ...
Qween
Teen_tinka, we also do not eat often, but with pleasure. And before, only my husband ate, and I did not like ice cream.
Sava scops owl
And the ice cream Nastyushin turned out to be strong, but I added gelatin as a stabilizer (for 400 ml of cream, a table spoon without a slide). Melts so slowly, beautiful ooo
Judging by the comments of her husband (contented mooing, smacking his lips) accompanying the eating of vanilla ice cream - delicious. and I will not "win" my throat, more precisely, I will not cure it.
Gee, now my husband heals his ... and there is a whole bowl of ice cream in the freezer sadly
sweeta
Girls, I feel that it is necessary to start "processing" my husband today ... I took my ice cream out of the freezer, gave it to try (my first experience) ... I feel that I can not say anything, such delicious things !!! He said that he hadn't eaten anything tastier ... So that's it!

sweeta, I give a tip, in Auchan the Klatronic ice makers have even fallen in price since spring. Last week I saw UAH 291. (they were 305 UAH each, and for some reason it was even more expensive in online stores - approx. 350 UAH)

There is an ice cream maker, but there is no place in the freezer ... Eh ... And the summer is passing ... No matter how hard I tried to empty the freezer, it does not work. I'm a Rat by horoscope So she (the bowl of an ice cream maker) is with me and is still in the locker. And there is nowhere to put ready-made ice cream. And then last year I will make ice cream in my ice cream maker, I need to put it in the freezer at least for a while. This is not always convenient for us. So often ice cream remained in the freezer. After all, in order to give it to children after the freezer, you need to defrost it at least a little, otherwise it is completely oak. So at the beginning of summer, we ate sorbet and ice cream from the last season. After sorbet, the throat was treated. You can't really warm it - it flows strongly. They licked and gnawed. That was tasty. But the throat suffered. Like these ones pies affairs. After that, I thought, I can make soft ice cream and eat it right away. Children want ice cream. And you don't have to take up space in the freezer.
I initially looked at the freezer, but its price is too high. And Delongy costs 2 times less and you can buy it in Ukraine.
So I want to hear opinions about this machine (and in general fresh thoughts about the freezer will not interfere)

I have a walrus with a freezer and I am very happy! Stands on the table, 30 min. and you're done! We (3 people) easily eat the whole portion, very rarely when something remains.

I have a Clathronic. (they are sent by the carrier Intime with payment upon receipt of the parcel minus 6 hryvnia from the price indicated on the website 346).

Recently I bought a wooden spatula, before that I used an ordinary metal spoon - more often nothing is done from it, if you do not set a goal for yourself to damage it at all costs :)). And you still have to try.

Before that last summer I made ice cream by hand. Here in some places the lack of difference is described - it is not so :)). In the 21st century, threshing the mixture by hand - you have to be either a selfless maniac or a housewife.

shuska
prascovia, I remember that you have a freezer and that you are happy with it. I don’t know what kind of Simac company is, but it bothers me a little that the option available to me is Delongy. I have not come across the products of this company. But as I wrote above, other brands (the same Nemox) are 2 times more expensive, and you will not find them in our Ukraine. So I can only think of Delongy. And what is the consistency of ice cream at the exit from the freezer? Can I put it in a ball? And what is the capacity of your freezer?
prascovia
shuska power 230 watt and 50 Hz. (antediluvian) if I looked there. And the ball is powerfully put directly. the only drawback is that the ice cream maker is very heavy, I think 15 kilograms!

For those. Your characteristics seem to be similar to Delongy. Here's what they write:
# Motor power - 230W
# Removable stainless steel bowl, 1.2 l, for making 700 g ice cream
# Transparent lid seals the bowl hermetically, which allows you to maintain a low temperature required for making ice cream
# Knob for selecting 3 operating modes
# Mixing paddle, bowl and lid are dishwasher safe
# Ideal for cooling any drinks
# Patented paddle for the best mixing of ingredients
# Used ecological refrigerant R134a
And the weight is 14.5 kg

The strawberries are gone, but there are cherries and apples. And made of them. I cleaned the papilla (400 ml), steamed 4 small apples, took out the stubs, rubbed a handful of raspberries through a sieve. I spoiled everything in the blender. Beat 3 squirrels with 150g sugar. I mixed one with the other and into an ice cream maker. The portion did not fit into my liter triz, next time I will do it by a third less. And the sugar is too much for my taste, the fruits are super sweet. It turned out to be a very decent, light and refreshing dessert. Mom hasn't tried it yet, but I think she really needs it. Thank you, Kalmykova!

Mom tried it, said that it turned out even tastier than the Soviet one. Next time I'll try with plum puree for even more authenticity

: flowers: My dear members of the forum !!!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for a lot of different tips for ice cream makers !!!
Today I experienced my ice cream maker for the first time !!! We received it, however, six days ago, but we were dry, everyone was in business, and our hands did not reach her. And today our whole family watched the preparation of banana ice cream from the instructions for her, and the eldest daughter baked pancakes and then we ate pancakes with ice cream. And even my husband said that he expected the worst result, but it turned out a gorgeous ice cream in half an hour! And I am happy that he is satisfied, because we have been going for this purchase for a year and a half (if not more!) !!! And finally we can pamper ourselves. Someone on the forum, though (I don't remember), assured me that the capacity of a freezer of 2.5 liters is a lot ... but today we made 1.5 liters and squeezed it in one sitting, and that's just me and the children! And if the guests also stomped, then, as I have already seen, 2.5 liters would not be enough. And it is so delicious !!! I apologize for not having time to take a picture (yes, we put some ice cream on the plates in a hurry - with a big spoon - because of this it looked not very presentable). But next time I'll try to keep the camera close at hand. Can I show you a picture of my freezer? Here it is - Tuttogelato Plus

Heavy, of course. But the main thing is that ice cream does well and the blade is steel. You know what seemed inconvenient:
1. Cover with magnets - it is responsible for turning on the rotation. If not, the scapula does not rotate. If you remove it, it turns off. Everything is wonderful - the problem is that during operation, the freezer, like any refrigerator, vibrates very finely and the lid from this (despite the magnets) slides slightly in a circle and ... it stops - you have to fix the lid and work continues. That is, the minus is that, theoretically, the freezer is autonomous, but in practice, you need to be near it and not go far in order to be able to fix the lid if it leaves the vibration. True, I will make a reservation, they cooked in a plug-in aluminum bucket to make it easier to wash - maybe the lid also slid out because of the bucket, his handles slightly raise it.
2. Now about the plug-in spare bucket (in which we were preparing today) - it is aluminum and I don’t want to risk washing it in the PMM. Truth and so was laundered instantly. But....in the instructions there is an indication between the plug-in bucket and the usual one to pour either 100 ml of brandy or a salt solution (100 g of water + 20 g of salt) so that the cold is better carried out. So they did it, with salt. The inconvenient thing is that when you take out a removable bucket, its bottom is in a salt solution ... ugh !!! even if the brandy ... the bottom is still stained. To cook ice cream in a steel bucket, which is built into the ice cream maker itself .... hmm, hmm ... even after reading the instructions, I can't figure out how to wash it later if it can't be removed (built-in)? It is written with a soft cloth, but I soaked myself with a salt solution with a cloth so that now I want ice cream only by the end of the week.
Girls who have freezers, have you encountered these inconveniences? How do you solve them, or am I bothering a lot? It's just that the bucket is removable in the bread maker - it's not a problem to wash, I was expecting to see the same in the freezer, but everything turns out to be different here! Tell me a quick way to hygienic washing (the instructions say - with a rag, but it's somehow not very clean - still sugar and milk ...)
In general, despite minor inconveniences, my family is now all happy! Strange as it may seem, there is no euphoria - it's just nice that you can now pamper yourself to your liking in sufficient quantities. So I am very grateful to everyone who developed themes about ice cream makers and, with their experience, pushed me to buy this unit !!!

I share a little joy and find. Yesterday I made our already Simply Irreplaceable Sundae From Anastasia, and decided to add neutral drinking "activism" without fillers instead of milk to cream.

The cream whipped up no worse than usual, the taste was almost the same - just a little bit light curd sourness. But what is most important! The most important thing is that my active dislike of fermented milk ate this ice cream just as usual, without sensing anything was wrong!

And before that, we had battles for sour milk with her - nothing and nothing, neither children's nor adult yoghurts or kefir. And beneficial bacteria (if they are initially present) survive freezing. You can try it with your own yogurt, I think. I just haven't done it yet, I'm just going to do it. But the main thing is that there are no more problems to provide fermented milk usefulness to a small fussy.

I make strawberry ice cream with homemade yogurt. Ingredients - strawberries, chopped with a blender + sugar + yogurt. It is better to freeze strawberries before chopping. The more strawberries - the more "fruit" the ice cream and the more intense its color (the neighbor asked suspiciously - why did she tint it), today there were less berries - it turned out to be soft pink ... It freezes very well and is very tasty! Yogurt is not at all guessed, even if it is quite sour.

I haven’t read the whole Temka yet (and I should;) but I will share my experience ... having bought rice flour, I read on the packaging that rice flour has high moisture-binding properties and m. b. used as a natural thickener and stabilizer during the production of hard and soft cheeses, melted cheeses, boiled condensed milk, yoghurts, ice cream, mayonnaise and sauces... Making blueberry ice cream this time, I used, as always, 25% sour cream, homemade yogurt, blueberries itself and a thick mass of boiled rice flour (literally 2-3 tablespoons) ... Everything in a blender, chill a little and in an ice cream maker ... The result was very pleasing ... The ice cream kept its shape, did not spread, immediately after beating it in an ice cream maker, it could be eaten right away, which my dotsya did with great pleasure
