I have pilaf in the section "cooking in pressure mode"
on page 16 this is:

Multicooker-pressure cooker Polaris PPC 1203AD

well, in the table, too, with pressure.
there is an assumption that different batches of units received slightly different instructions the product is a novelty, maybe they rushed to throw it on the market with such a jamb
Rick
Alina, and the section is "WITHOUT pressure".
In general, if the pressure indicator lights up on this program, then it is a program with pressure. I'll have to look at home
Omorale
yes, exactly.
well xs is shorter. the main thing is that the program is working and everything turns out as it should.
Rick
Well, yes, while I was driving home, I already thought about it.
I looked at the instructions, the same. When the program is started, the pressure indicator does not light up. If the valve and cover are closed, there will be pressure. If not closed, there will be no pressure. Whoever likes it better))
Rituslya
I should have boiled potatoes for a side dish today. In addition to Varka, I didn't find anything smart for a couple. Therefore, I cleaned it, filled it with water almost level, salted it and set the mode.
The default time is 10 minutes and, I see, the pressure has accumulated.
I sincerely thought that either it would not be cooked or it would be digested into trash, but it turned out to be very good!
Rick
I would bet on extinguishing)) But I'm sure the result would be the same
And I put the porridge "Friendship" for myself from evening to morning. 2 mst. milk cereals was somewhere 1: 8. Since I love liquid porridge and taking into account the fact that I stood on the heating all night. Mode "Milk porridge" 1 h 30 min. I really liked the porridge.
Annutka
Also in the evening I put constantly porridge, but turn off the heating. I like the milk porridge regime very much.
Omorale
girls, and now my rice is not cooked on milk porridge
Moreover, I put it from evening to morning on a postponement. did not leave on heating. the program worked as expected, everything was ready at the right time.
but with the rice some kind of metamorphosis, it boiled down to a puree-like state, but at the same time there were solid grains. it feels like the middle of the rice hasn't boiled at all. ordinary rice, round, I always take it for porridge and for pilaf and for soup. never had any problems with him.
and here on milk porridge for 1.5 hours did not boil ... while standing in milk all night. what is that?

and yet I have confirmed in my own opinion that we like the pressure cooker version of milk porridge more. you will probably have to adapt milk porridge for some other dish
francevna
Alina, have you cooked rice in pure milk or with the addition of water?
Milk porridge, round-grain rice Mistral + millet have just turned off. I added half a glass more water today, but probably in vain. Let it stand until the evening in a closed cartoon, I'll see how it will be. The rice is completely cooked.
Omorale
There were 900 ml of milk and 100 ml of water. but i always do that
francevna

All the same, I like the ratio of cereal and liquid 1: 4 more, half a glass of water was extra.
N @ t @ liya
Girls, and on what mode should you stew cabbage with minced meat? Select Extinguishing. or Plov, I liked it so much that this program turns itself off, it's interesting to test ..
Omorale
I would experiment with an interesting program with pilaf.
Tanya Vladi
Girls, tell me, pliiz, on which program to cook chicken broth - "Soup"! What time and what pressure to set?

________________________
I bought this little one, I'm doing a test drive on rice and millet porridge ...
I put pressure 2 on the "Groats" (the display is lit "1"). Time 28 min. Steam set after 12 minutes, the lid is locked. But! The valve poisons constantly, dog! On Alina's advice, I twisted it lightly, it doesn't help !!! Shtebochka in the same situation was silent, like a partisan ...
Everyone has the same story, or is my only fooling around ???
Omorale
Tatyana, in the instructions with the pressure levels it is written very confusingly, I am not guided by her at all. look at the pace of cooking. the fact that below 100s will not gain pressure. only "pilaf" is a mystery program)
I am guided by pressure purely by indicators.
1 - 105s, 2 - 110s, 3 - 115 g.
soup (and broth) I cook in soup. chicken can be safely set to pressure 1. preset time.

to the program "cereals" my question is still open. BUT I begin to suspect that the "cereal" steam is strongly poisoned only when milk porridge is being cooked. if crumbly grits are cooked in water, there is no such release. apparently, there is simply no provision for boiling milk porridge in this program. it's just that some of us have adapted to cook a pier. porridge this way
why did you set exactly 28 minutes? 30 is preinstalled there.
honestly .., I already scored on this valve. well poison and poison. put the pier. porridge for 1 pressure 30 min. that's all.

at 3 pressure, I cook only meat. it turns out soft
Rituslya
I decided to steam the potatoes again today. The time was set not 10 minutes, but 13.
If from ten minutes everything hissed and the float rose, then from 13 minutes to 10 there was complete silence, and from 10 minutes again hissing and pressure.
There were more potatoes than in previous times, but the result is the same.
N @ t @ liya
And I cooked the pea soup again. I cooked chicken thighs from frozen (small, 4 things, removed the skin), put potatoes, carrots, peas (1 multi-glass, washed a couple of times), aromatic salt, bay leaf. Soup program 35 minutes. The peas are boiled, the meat is boiled, the potatoes are whole, but soft. He turned off the heating. The pressure dropped by itself. I am very pleased !!
Omorale
and I have adapted to cook the beef chops
earlier this process was very long, the finished fried meat had to be simmered over low heat.
but now everything is much simpler .. fried the meat, fried the onion in half rings, put everything together in layers in a bowl + a little water and "jellied meat" for 40 minutes.

and the valve, the infection, so periodically etch.
but oh well .. the main thing is that the device copes with its main function - it cooks perfectly.
N @ t @ liya
And yesterday I cooked jellied meat. I cooked for an hour, everything was from turkey: neck, wing shoulder, a piece of meat on the bone. Plus I added 10 tips of chicken wings (from the freezer). I put 1 tbsp. l. delicious salt, onion and bay leaf. Frozen well, but not tight. It turned out 2 large vessels. First experience with a bang!
velli
Girls, and I am delighted with the program "Jellied"! Not only do I cook jellied meat myself on it, I also cook tough beef (beef ribs, beef shanks), pork shank, and so on. meat. For some reason, on the "Soup" mode, I cook only soups, borscht, cabbage soup, but I cook the broth for them in Jellied meat on this mode. Today I cooked duck breasts previously marinated in Polyarka last night. Night in the refrigerator, and in the morning fry on both sides until golden brown and on the Jellied program for 50 minutes. brought to readiness. The result is very tasty, aromatic, juicy. The meat is not boiled, but when it is cold you can cut it into steaks and sandwiches for tea, coffee. Juice from them poured buckwheat porridge specially cooked for such a dish.
N @ t @ liya
On Alina's advice, Plov cooked pork with potatoes on the program. I fried meat with onions and carrots in a pan. She put meat, potatoes in a bowl, added spices, poured water, covering completely. I turned on the program. time hour. but this clever program turned off itself after 50 minutes. It was heated for 20 minutes. Perfectly done! Again, the program surprised!
Marpl
I get pissed off when pressure builds up. I just press on the top of the lid and that's it - silence. This method was described in the topic about MV Shteba.

I have this program that releases the most steam during cooking.

Dear girls, with your permission, I will wedge myself into your communication. Recently he divorced his wife, left all household appliances to her. Since I now live alone, the question arose about purchasing a small multicooker-pressure cooker. I look closely at this model. Began to study the reviews and came across your forum. Judging by your feedback, it's not bad. But I have one question. The fact is that I really love manti, I cook them myself, as well as sauces for them. Since I'm not a small man, I eat about eight at a time)). Tell me, can I somehow steam at least one portion of mantas in this cartoon, or do I need to buy a mantle cooker separately?)
Omorale
Sergei, well, see for yourself ..
the diameter of the steaming device is 15 cm here. So .., manti with such a portion is unlikely 4 pcs will fit.
velli
Sergei, In this c / in, a double boiler is suitable for cooking large vegetables: beets, carrots, large potatoes. Manti will fall into the water through large holes between the rods. And the bowl diameter is too small for 8 manti: they will not fit. You need to think of something or buy a double boiler, if you like manti so much.
francevna
Sergei, I have a Brand502 multicooker, there you can cook manti in two tiers, but not very large ones.
Since we love manty, the most delicious they are obtained in a simple mantle. They come in different sizes and the bottom pot can be used to prepare other dishes. You will meet guests, she will help you out.
And the Polaris pressure cooker is very convenient.
svgold
Thanks for the quick answers! That is why I am also thinking. Either take a bigger pressure cooker (5 liters), for example, Redmond 503/504, but then the bowl for me alone will be a bit big ... but then you can cook the manti ... or take a manti cooker / double boiler separately, but overwhelm the already small one I don’t want to have extra dishes in the kitchen either ... or invent / bungle some two-tier thing like in a mantle cooker))
Omorale
A 5-liter cartoon for 1 person is really a lot. wash the bowl.
gala10
Alina, but what's the difference: wash 5 or 3 liters? I have two 5 liter multicooker and one 2 liter. And a bunch of all kinds of kitchen equipment. All are needed. Live alone.
Each multicooker does something better than the others.
Omorale
well xs) for me personally, it was especially noticeable and stressful to wash 5 and 6 liter after milk porridge. you can't cook too much, and so .. smear along the bottom.
That's why I got small and got it. mainly boil milk porridge, stew meat
velli
Today I tried the Plov mode for the first time. And why did I hesitate to use it before? I always cooked in the Element, but I ignored Polechka. Plov turned out in Polechka not worse, but somehow it tasted different or something. I cooked pilaf with beef, which I had previously stewed in a little water, with a little salt, on Soup for 50 minutes. After opening the s / v, I transferred the meat to another container, and in the Frying mode, I fried carrots with onions, then put the meat to the vegetables and fried everything for 5-7 minutes. On top of washed rice, salt and spices, I stuck peeled garlic cloves into the rice and poured the meat sauce on top. There was almost no liquid on top, it was at the bottom of the bowl. Pilaf program - 1 hour, but the pressure cooker turned off at 40 minutes. He turned off the heating immediately when the mode was turned on, and took out the pilaf after 20 minutes (there was no time before). I mixed all the contents and tasted it - everything was fine, including the type of pilaf.Multicooker-pressure cooker Polaris PPC 1203AD The photo does not convey much, but this is pilaf, not porridge with meat. Rice took the usual round grain.
francevna
velli, valentine, pilaf looks very appetizing. I haven't cooked anything on "pilaf" yet.
svgold
Hello again, dear girls! On your advice, I purchased this multicooker / pressure cooker and a small mantover separately). I tried the mantle cooker right away, cooked my favorite manty, but Polaris just started to master it. At first, the cons that immediately caught my eye ... the cord on the left, to me personally, with my location of the multicooker in the kitchen, seemed inconvenient ...no steaming plate ... bad and small recipe book ... no spare rubber pad ... so far). Yesterday I cooked porridge in milk according to your recipes (rice + millet + corn grits) ... the porridge turned out to be just excellent! Then I made pea soup ... the meat, potato, carrots were boiled as it should ... but the peas were boiled ... but I soaked it for more than two hours ... next time you should try it without soaking. Actually, I am not writing for the sake of boasting, but because several questions have arisen for you. The first question ... where can I buy a spare rubber gasket ... mine really smelled of spices after the pea soup ... I saw a link here on the forum, but it just addresses Ali, and there I didn’t find anything by searching ... I would even buy a couple in reserve. The second question is, can the lid be washed under running water? And the last thing ... it's not very convenient to flip through all 27 pages of the forum to find the recipe you need ... is there any way to organize them ... put somewhere in a hat, well, or something else ... but now I decided to cook pilaf and again I will have to flip through and look on which page this recipe was ... thank you all in advance for the answers)
Marpl
This thread does not have a moderator, so no one will post recipes at the beginning. And the pilaf recipe is located above, one message from yours.
svgold
Yes, I saw this message ... but we men think differently, we need clear instructions) ... how much meat, how much rice, water, salt, etc. .... you know how to cook "by eye". .. and our brain and eyes are arranged a little differently ... you can, of course, experiment ... why, when there are people who have achieved a good result and can share their experience?)
Marpl
Sergei, if your porridge turned out well, then you will get pilaf. And how much meat to take depends on your taste, onions and carrots are also approximately. At home, pilaf of carrots is put in a lot, almost as much as meat. For 3 liters of rice, 1-1.5 mst are needed. And so everything is simple - cut onions, carrots into cubes or on a 3.5mm Berner, fry everything. Then transfer all this to another dish and fry the meat cut into heaps. Then put everything together in a bowl of MB, pour washed rice on top, add spices for pilaf, salt. Pour everything on top with water, about 1.5 cm above the rice level, stick a head of garlic on top (I peel the garlic and put the garlic on top, and if there is, then also barberry) close the lid. Press Plov and wait for the end of the program. The program works under pressure.
svgold
Marpl, now everything is clear) ... thank you very much !!!

There was a question about the rubber gasket and the ability to wash the lid with running water)
Marpl
MV is still a novelty and there are no spare silicone rings and bowls, so after cooking, wash the ring thoroughly, trying not to stretch it and put it to dry and ventilate from odors. The cover can be removed and washed under water, even the valve is removed, but with effort.
svgold
Thank you, Marina!
Marpl
Good luck in cooking! If the finished pilaf is damp (a lot of liquid), then stir the pilaf and leave it on heating for 20 minutes, the excess liquid will be removed. Rice can be different, but over time you will already understand how much water to pour.
Omorale
Sergey, in the lower right corner under the last message there is a "print" button. If you click it, then a preview of the topic is printed. in the window that opens, press ctrl + f and a small search bar appears. you can enter any word for your query.
for example, "pilaf" (without quotation marks eat-but). and the topic will find all references to that word. flip through the arrows and find a suitable one. for myself.
or, poke at the nickname of any user (well, at least mine. no difference) and click "view messages". you will see all the messages that I left here. take a look. I cooked soups and cereals and pilaf. there are pictures of dishes. you can find useful info for yourself.

you can throw away the recipe book. in some places it generally contradicts the instructions
there are no additional rings and bowls on sale for this day. this is sad.
steamer - sucks.the cord on the left side is inconvenient for many. well, what to do, such a design.

the cord on the left side is inconvenient for many
It depends on where the outlet is: on the contrary, I have it on the left, and the multicooker temporarily included in it has a cord on the right. It would be better at the back so that neither yours nor ours and above it is a container for condensation
I have never used a search on the topic, I think from the phone it is, if possible, not convenient. It's a pity they don't want to add an option.
Omorale
about the cord, yes. it is as anyone.
my big pressure cooker in the back, in general beauty.

I cooked meatballs today. blooper!
while onions and carrots were fried, I stuck meatballs (minced meat + raw rice). then put everything together in a bowl, poured the sauce with ketchup + yogurt + a little mayonnaise + water and "soup" for 30 minutes at 1 pressure
Rick
I stuffed peppers on stewing was a good thing to do. Since no one else eats them with us, then when I fry cutlets for my husband, I make pepper for myself. In etrm year, the mother-in-law has sooo large peppers. Therefore, I cut it in half lengthwise, stuff it with minced meat with raw rice, put minced meat in the bowl upside down, pour the sauce. To the bottom up to about half the height of half a pepper) and always on top of the pepper with minced meat. Stew for 1 hour, of which 30 minutes on one side, then turn the minced meat down and on the other side for another 30 minutes.
francevna
Mainly I cook milk porridge and cereal side dish. If a spare ring appears, then everything can be cooked.
Today for the first time my husband ate porridge for breakfast.
I did not dare to put on a delayed start, in the evening I washed the cereals, threw them on a sieve. I woke up at five in the morning, turned on the "milk porridge" without heating, but after the end of cooking, the porridge stood in the cartoon for another hour. The result is airy, with yellow splashes. We added a little honey, a wonderful breakfast turned out.
I filled one multi-glass in equal proportions with cereals: corn, millet, round grain rice. Water 2.5 + 2m. stack. milk, 10gr. draining. oils
I don't add salt or sugar.
Rick
And I cook everything, I'm fine
I put the porridge in the evening with heating only in milk, salt and sugar. The composition of the groats is the same as that of Allochka. The proportion of milk: cereals is about 1: 6, this is when I leave it on heating. It turns out thin. Today, when I got up in the morning, it was about 6 hours on the heating. Kashka
velli
I have never cooked milk porridge in Polyarka, all in other cartoons I do not even know what proportions should be taken so that it turns out not to be a mess, but of medium density. I am not bothered by the smell from the silicone ring, because after the soup I cook either cabbage soup or borscht, or then I carcass the meat. I don’t make baked goods there, I don’t cook milk. And one more thing: immediately after cooking, I wash the lid, and do not close it until it dries completely by moving the c / in close to the wall with the lid. If there is a barely perceptible smell, there is nothing wrong with that! It's not the fish that was cooked there. After the pea soup with smoked meat, I boil water with lemon and that's it. I don't need an additional ring, but I can't wait for the cup to be released, and I keep it like the apple of my eye! I only use silicone spatulas and a ladle, but you can hardly wait. Girls, which cup from other brands will suit our Polechka?

Girls, which cup from other brands will suit our Polechka
So far I have not met a bowl for our cartoon anywhere.

When I cook pilaf or meat, I add different spices, the silicone ring absorbs this aroma. I have two rings on Brand 6051, very convenient.
Omorale
the ring can be wiped with lemon juice. it bleaches a little and the vigorous smell of spices muffles.
But, in principle, this kind of smells do not bother me.
although I also make baked goods here. porridge. I do not feel at all that something extraneous is joining
for a large pressure cooker I have 2 rings. but I took the second only as a spare in case of something. and for all the years I have never changed just to cook dishes of different smells.
but it is as anyone of course. so that only juice or a slice of lemon remains
