"Hearty" cabbage pie

Cabbage Pie Hearty

Ingredients

sauerkraut 300 g
fresh cabbage 400 g
Champignon 200 g
bulb onions 1 PC
leek 1/2 pc
eggs 2 pcs
butter 1 tbsp. l.
mayonnaise 1 tbsp. l.
caraway 1 tsp
salt pepper taste
puff pastry 400 g
yolk 1 PC

Cooking method

  • An ordinary cabbage pie - fresh and sauerkraut, but also with mushrooms, and most importantly - it is with "hearts". This makes the cake look more elegant, and tea drinking with it becomes festive.
  • Cabbage Pie HeartyFor the filling, peel and chop both types of onions. We do the same with mushrooms: peel and cut into plates. Heat oil in a large skillet and fry the chopped onion. After a couple of minutes add the mushrooms and fry slightly. Then add fresh chopped cabbage, simmer everything together under the lid for about 10 minutes. Put salt, pepper, cumin. At the end, add sauerkraut, pour in a glass of water and simmer for about 10 minutes.
  • Place the filling in a bowl and cool slightly. Beat 2 eggs separately with a tablespoon of mayonnaise. Pour the mixture into the filling and mix.
  • Cabbage Pie Hearty In a baking dish (24 - 26 cm) we spread a layer of puff pastry, slightly rolled out, prick it with a fork.

I began to disassemble all sorts of old confectionery tools that had been in the bag since Soviet times of early youth, which I did not use, but it's a pity to throw it away) ) and there I found a cookie cutter - a small heart, it is literally 2 cm in width, and then I did not know what to do with it, it was paired with a large heart for cookies, which I had in use .. and only now I I guessed that this little heart is used for double cookies to make a cutout of the upper one, and then the jam is visible on the lower half ..)))))))))))))))))))))))))
