Ingredients

Flour / s 170 g
Baking powder 0.5 tsp
Sugar 0.5 tsp
Salt 0.5 tsp
Butter (cold) 100 g
Fried onions (dried) 2 tsp
Dried tomatoes 2 tsp
Italian Herb Blend 2 tsp
Milk 2 tbsp. l.

Cooking method

  • Seed cookiesPour all dry ingredients into a bowl.
  • Seed cookiesGrate the oil from the refrigerator on a coarse grater, dipping it, periodically, into flour.
  • Seed cookiesAdd milk and knead to a smooth dough. Wrap it in plastic and put it in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes.
  • Seed cookiesThen I divide the dough into 2 halves. From the first I roll out a layer with a thickness of 1-2 mm. It will stick a little to the rolling pin, but you don't need to add flour.
  • Seed cookiesJust take the layer and turn it over to the other side, the bottom is smooth.
  • Seed cookiesCut the cookies in a small notch (for one bite)
  • Seed cookiesand prick with a fork.
  • Seed cookiesTransfer to a baking sheet lined with Teflon or baking paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for 10 minutes. Look in your oven and don't overdry.
  • Seed cookiesWhile the first batch is being baked, I roll out the second, but already 3-4 mm thick, I make holes with a cocktail straw. I bake for 12 minutes at 180 degrees immediately after the first batch.

Cookies are eaten very quickly, since the hand reaches out and stretches after them, like for seeds - it is very difficult to stop (hence the name). Thinly rolled crunches more, although the second crunches too. The cookies left in the vase do not stale or dry out, but remain just crispy all the time.
