Well ... not .. it's not + 25 * increase in temperature - otherwise it will go out
And the fact that it keeps the set temperature is very good for the dryer.
Lerele
And I didn’t measure, but I’ll buy tomatoes and try them on, I really want this again, I did, very tasty !!! Now I want to do the banks.

In, Irishka, well done! It means that your place is warmer than ours. And my bottom one is always warmer than the top one by 1-2 * C. But it doesn't matter! The main thing is that it reaches the required temperature!

Yulia, and this is Tanyusha's recipe Sun-dried tomatoes in aromatic oil... Super everything works out! Only I don't like thyme, I took mint instead. And she blended everything together.

Here's what happened

Only my pallets were painted over with yellow spots left. Well, okay, I'm not going to sell it, but nothing to me.

Lerele, Here's the beauty!)) I have recipes in the bookmarks, I will do. But you can tell about the banks in more detail, how did you proceed further .... did not understand ... after putting it in the jar ... butter? Hot? Sterilization?

I also made delicious and beautiful candied fruits "Duchess". Amber and so aromaaaaat! Now I will make the recipe.

Dryer-dehydrator Rommelsbacher DA 750

And the syrup from them "Duchess" cool came out, with soda bred

And from the tomato, my pallets also stained a little, but nothing. Firstly, it does not affect the functionality in any way, and secondly, it is easily cleaned by a "comet".

Owner girls, explain, pzhl, what design feature does not allow using a dryer with fewer trays (i.e. less than 4)?
D.J.
IrenSpb, there is a "pin" that will interfere. In principle, you can cut it off, but ... years, for example, 5 years after the purchase, it's a pity to spoil a new one.
Girls, a week after the purchase I made an opus on the dryer (nothing new, personal impressions from the dryer itself and from the drying process), but did not send it right away (I wrote in several stages, everything was distracted), and then it disappeared.
We bought a ripe melon here, ate it, ate 3/4 of it no longer Shmogli (in general, I practically ate it alone, cut off a piece of my mother-in-law, and so my husband ate a little and didn’t eat it anymore, my son loves watermelons, my daughter generally does not eat fruit, occasionally bananas) and I wilted it, and "without anything." And it turned out so gloriously. Despite the fact that it was VERY juicy, it dried normally and rather quickly.
Now I'm making candied fruits from yellow plums, I don't know what to do with the syrup (the plum is very ripe, but not so sweet that it can be dried just like that (dried blue plum, it will not be possible to eat: sour, only use it as an additive).Probably, you will have to make candied fruits from apples - it's a pity to pour out the syrup, if you only boil it and leave it for the winter.
The mother-in-law gave a dozen of her tomatoes (she grew up in the front garden) now I have to dry them too, I eat tomatoes extremely rarely, but again my hand does not rise to throw it away. Maybe in the winter where I will attach.
I bought bananas, they are singing, I will also dry them. Of course, according to the mind, bananas should be dried in winter, but I wanted something now.
IrenSpb
D. Zh., thanks, understood
And another question, like I looked through the whole topic, but no one boasted of a marshmallow. Interested in technology (directly into the tray or some kind of gasket is required), time, mode, and suddenly some other nuances. It's just that I now have Rommelsbacher and Oursson on the agenda at the same price - my brain is boiling
Piano
I think straight into the tray, but grease it with a thin napkin with odorless vegetable oil.
IrenSpb
Piano, thanks, if so, that's a plus

Which design feature prevents the dryer from being used with fewer trays (i.e. less than 4)?
Quote: D. Zh.

Absolutely! But this pin cannot be sawed. It is he who distributes the heated air over the trays. Saw off - only the bottom will be blown. But it's good that you can't have fewer pallets - you load it in full at once, then drive it a little bit.
Quote: D. Zh.
I don't know what to do with syrup
Boil the syrup and pour it into sterilized bottles. Use for soaking biscuit, for casseroles, in baked goods, in cheesecakes, and simply dilute with sparkling water - and ready-made natural delicious soda for children.

I just do not like such marshmallow. And so it is easy to do it in this dryer - do not smear anything at all and do not lay anything on trays. Distribute evenly in the tray and that's it

I just have no one likes such marshmallow
Well this is necessary .... mine are half-dried from the trays
D.J.
I made marshmallow, poured it directly onto the trays. But she poured too much, she dried for a long time and did not dry up to the end, I keep it in the refrigerator and I should eat it in order to avoid it, otherwise it will suddenly deteriorate.
I, too, no one eats anything, who does not understand the land, probably will have to eat everything myself.
Linadoc
Well, here's another report. Withered hot jalapeno peppers, my own. I stuffed them one at a time into sauces, marinades, pickles, pickles (here it took 5-6 pieces for a 20-liter tank), and they are all twigs and twigs. Well, I collected them, 2.5 kg, 2 kg decided to wither. They are, of course, spicy - 2500-8000 skoville spiciness, but my husband respects such. In short, I cleaned it, cut it up and down and put it to dry at 3 speeds. In 3.5 hours, they wilted properly. At the same time, I decided to attach my green tomatoes, 3 kg, wilted at 3 speeds for 6 hours.

During sterilization, fragrant oil leaked out, I collected it and used it in bread and pizza dough. They turned out to be so fragrant that I separately made a whole jar of such oil. I added dried peppers, dried tomatoes, fresh basil and garlic pounded in a mortar to the olive oil, warmed up in the microwave until boiling (3 minutes), then fried for another 1 minute on medium mode. The result is a gorgeous aromatic oil:

I made plum marshmallows. I poured it directly into the tray, you don't need to lubricate with anything (which made me very happy!). The poured marshmallow layer was 0.5 cm, dried on mode 3 for 4 hours. It can be removed from the trays remarkably both in parts and in whole.

And I foolishly decided that I would transfer my old unclaimed jams to marshmallow and I would be happy and economical. I dry for a week with interruptions, but there is no happiness. But there is experience

I used to dry my old jams the winter before last, but ... they dry for a long time

mixed jam (if with syrup, then filtered off the excess) with toasted oatmeal (girls do this, only with fresh berries, fruits)

raw dry faster than jam

Yulenka, and what is the temperature in your dryer on mode 3, tell me, please?
Stebovich
Can I answer? )

Test 1 (IXBT)
At a room temperature of about 22 ° C:
level 1: approx. 40 ° C;
level 2: approximately 55 ° C;
level 3: approx. 70 ° C.

Test 2 (Linadoc, 1 post per topic)
At an ambient temperature of 23 * C, I received the following figures:
1 level - 41-43 * С,
Level 2 - 58-60 * С,
Level 3 - 72-74 * С.
Linadoc
Stebovichthat's right, thanks!
A Lerele generally 80 * C received, but did not indicate the T environment. Look here.
Lerele
It was 24-26 *, that is, warm at home.

Linadoc, and jerky meat or sausage was made in a dryer? as it turns out? Now my whole brain has broken, what to buy, so that it suits everything
Linadoc
Svetlana, did the fish. Vkuuusno! But not enough. I'm on trial, 1 fish. Added when green tomatoes wilted. To my amazement, the smell did not mix. That is, tomatoes then did not smell like fish. Apparently, because of the solid pallets and the blowing system. Now I want to make meat and fish normally, a complete dryer.
julia007
IrenSpbOn the contrary, I rubbed the plum through a mechanical sieve and added a little sugar, about a couple of tablespoons. I read the recipes and thought that it would take a long time to dry, but it dried very well in 4 hours, if left for longer it would probably be crispy.

Crochet,

please write how it goes. My impression is that your dryer is even better than Isidri. and here's another question: what is the height of the pallets?
Linadoc
Quote: ambrina
what is the pallet height?
Svetlana, just arrived from the cottage. I measured it there - 4 cm. It fits a lot, 1-1.5 kg of fruits and vegetables on each pallet. And this time I did not make meat. I will do - I will report. But it should be convenient - after all, the pallets are solid and T is high.
ambrina
thanks for the answer), here in all the dryers there are trays with a mesh, but here it is necessary to turn the products over as they dry?, because they are not blown by air from below (the same meat, fish), or somehow everything happens differently than in my understanding)) )
Linadoc
Svetlana, yes, it needs to be turned around in the middle of drying.
Vlasik
Girls, tell me where to buy additional trays? Found only on a prepayment basis, but the seller is not credible.

Venera007
Where can you buy pallets for this dryer? On Ozone, it sometimes decreases on it, but they do not sell pallets. And 4 pallets with the current harvest volume is very much. I almost bought it, but I didn't take it without additional pallets
Nyufab
Lina, tell me you have a countdown timer. Yesterday I bought it, today I make candied fruits, but after the set time the dryer does not turn off. Maybe there is some kind of trick in setting the time.
IrenSpb
Nyufab, should turn off automatically. If this does not happen, then something is wrong and I would return it to the store for a replacement.
Nyufab
Thanks, sorry, I don't like it. and she was the last one in the store.
Linadoc
Nyufab, yes, of course, it works and shuts down automatically. Yours needs to be changed.

By the way, I want to note that for the first time I used the 1st power, i.e. 40 * C. To make my dream come true.
I dreamed of lavender tea. But the raw materials were not in the required, albeit minimal, quantity. And then I managed to fly to the Crimea. And along with the unforgettable impressions of the beauties, aromas and tastes of Crimea, I got the necessary amount of lavender.
Dryer-dehydrator Rommelsbacher DA 750 Dryer-dehydrator Rommelsbacher DA 750 Dryer-dehydrator Rommelsbacher DA 750 Dryer-dehydrator Rommelsbacher DA 750

I played it twice, but it crumbled to dust. It was very dry. Having slightly moistened with water, I set it to ferment in a greenhouse for 3 hours. Then I put it to dry in a dryer at 60 * C, but immediately felt a significant increase in the aroma, which indicated the evaporation of the oil, and therefore the aroma. I immediately lowered the temperature to 40 * C and dried for about 3 hours. The aroma was stable. And it should be noted that since it was just almost coarsely ground flour, solid pallets were simply necessary here.
Dryer-dehydrator Rommelsbacher DA 750
Then she closed the tea in a tight-fitting container.
And she brewed it. There is almost no color, but the aromaaaat is fabulous, and the taste is amazing - sweet-floral, just nectar.

Lina, and if this experience is formalized as a separate author's recipe - how?
I am for it!
Linadoc
Tanyush, this is fermented tea made from aromatic herbs, and I already have this recipe... I am there noted and did link to the report on lavender tea. Luda lappl1 also does not think that a separate recipe is needed here.

Girls, take me to your warm company!
Now I also have such a miracle device and it's time to use it to its fullest!
In winter, I used to dry meat in it, and now the first fruit sample is dried peaches.
I took this recipe as a basis:
Dryer-dehydrator Rommelsbacher DA 750Dried nectarines
(Admin)

but with significant changes. I'm too lazy to do such tambourine dances
So - I pulled out the seeds from the peaches, cut each half into four parts, covered it with sugar at the rate of 400 grams per kilogram of fruit and left it overnight. In the morning, without shifting anything, brought everything to a boil and left to cool. I carried out this procedure twice more, in the evening and the next morning. The pieces took on the color of the syrup, but did not reach transparency (as in the finished jam). Then she threw it into a colander, waited for the juice to drain and laid it out to dry. Dried at 2 (about 60 degrees) for a long time. I put it on for 3 hours and lost count. But definitely not less than 12 hours. The slices are practically not sticky, in consistency - like candied fruits, rather dense, but plastic. Sweet, fragrant and look how beautiful!
Dryer-dehydrator Rommelsbacher DA 750
Dryer-dehydrator Rommelsbacher DA 750
From 1700 grams of prepared peaches, 470 grams of candied fruits and more than a liter of syrup turned out.
Linadoc
Svetlana, oh, it turned out great. I try to cut everything less, then it dries faster. But you have beautiful, no words!
And here I dry tea every visit, Ivan-tea with additives. Very comfortably! Nothing, not even tea dust, falls anywhere. And washing is generally wonderful

dry tea, Ivan-tea with additives
And ivan tea after fermentation straight into the dryer, without frying? And dry for 3?
Linadoc
Svetlana, Of course not! I'm an old tea-maker. Everything is according to the recipe, since tens of kilograms of ready-made tea have already been tested, which is the only way to get a truly tasty and aromatic tea. Withering-rolling-fermentation-frying-drying-ripening. Ivanushka is dry after frying for 3, because it has been raining constantly for 1.5 months, no matter how dry it may be, the granules are still moist enough even after frying. That's when I reach clean mixes with spicy-aromatic herbs and needles, then I will dry it for 2, after frying
SvetaI
Got it, thanks! Last year I tried to make tea for the first time and was unsuccessful, so I don't even know if I want to continue. But since there is a dryer, you still have to try again.
Alyon @ Ka
Hello to all Rommelsbacher owners! Thank you for purchasing this miracle according to your recommendations. Dried fruits and berries. All are beauties.
But with strawberry marshmallow - problems. Even at the beginning, due to the inclination to the outside, the still liquid pastille moved towards the depression, the difference in thickness was almost 2 times. And when the inside is completely dry, the outside is completely wet.I had to wait, the marshmallow cracked, especially the thick parts, and the thin ones were almost dry. In the end she finished drying, took it off, rolled it up.
Who could have done it? Tell me, maybe you need something to thicken the liquid pastille? Or should it be applied very thinly so that there is nothing to float down? Or is it just for thick marshmallow, it turns out? Maybe someone has adjusted to her characteristics? Thanks if anyone has any suggestions.
