Note

A very unusual dish. Attracted by its composition. Delicious! The result is beans with a sweetish sauce and a banana hint. Orange here gives only sourness, but not aroma. I boiled beans very well, I love it so. Therefore, the thickness was enough for me and I did not purée some of the beans. The recipe was spied somewhere on the Internet. I added greens and paprika flakes, which are not in the recipe. Recommend.

Girls, thanks for stopping by and appreciating. The combination is unusual, at first glance, incompatible. But I'm happy. I like it. Maybe someone will dare to repeat?

Angela, the recipe is really amazing. It must be so "combined"

It is interesting to try, but also scary on the other hand I can't even imagine the taste ...

Angel, what did you serve with? What do they eat such beans with? With rice?
ang-kay
Sveta, unusual but tasty. They ate as an independent dish.
please
A very unusual combination: girl-th: but it looks just mmm (y) no doubt it's delicious

Angela, I liked the recipe. I love beans very much. I make it with balsamic vinegar. And here for sourness orange juice, and even bananas .... I will definitely cook, especially in fasting. Thanks for the recipe.

NataliaI hope you like it if you cook it.

If it were not for the old love for Angelina recipes (in which the most unexpected components give the most delicious and unexpected results), I would not risk it. Also, I don't like heat-treated banana. However, my intuition itched "do it, it will be interesting." Doze
I’ll say, honestly, I’ll repeat it. Because for all the surprise, the recipe is delicious. Banana sounds completely different in it than in solo roasting and baking. Overall, the dish is very harmonious.
After cooking, I noticed that my beans turned out to be much drier than Angela's, although they kept the proportions clearly. I explain this by the fact that I was not preparing freshly boiled beans. Usually I cook a lot of beans, freeze the excess. I believe the moisture has frozen in the freezer.Next time I will take this condition into account and either add a little more orange juice or dilute it with a decoction of beans (I also freeze the excess).
The dish is good solo. But for notorious meat-eaters, you can serve as a side dish for cutlets or meatballs cooked with a minimum of spices.
Thanks a lot for the recipe!

And the beans are different. There is more oily, and there is a dry one. You can add some water, and then balance the taste.

I will repeat
It is most important. I like these beans too.
Special thanks for your trust.

Angela, I made your beans. Delicious. We couldn't even take a picture, they ate it while still hot. About the density. It seemed to me that oranges can be of different sizes, a banana can be very large, beans can be cooked from soft to very soft. And the decoction of beans can be larger or smaller. So it's all about taste. Angel, I was convinced once again that all your recipes are good. Thank you!
ang-kay
Natalia, it's great that the result was pleasing. Of course it's a matter of taste, how and what to add. The products are also different. It's right. The main thing is that everything worked out and I liked the result. Thank you for your trust and praise)

girls, bananas are of different types, most likely special, unsweetened bananas go to this dish, they are practically not sold anywhere else, I read about such from one blogger from Uruguay, she cooked many dishes with them - soups, meat and told that they taste completely different than that of sweet
ang-kay
Marina, where bananas grow, they are used as we are potatoes. There are of course many varieties. But what is sold with us is quite suitable for this dish. Bananas are also not always sweet, but the sugar in them does not bother me either.
