Good day!
Today I came across a post of one hostess who asked: how do we cook milk porridge so that she does not run away. Various comments poured in, in which both the proportions were proposed, and the temp. 95 degrees 15 minutes, and what interested me was to "paint" the border at the top of the pot with butter, so that the milk would not run away.
I myself cook oatmeal 1 to 4-5 mult. Art., but corn at this proportion rises to the valve. How to understand this - more milk? - less?
alsou8987
Tatjana, and did not try to put the steam basket when cooking porridge so that it extinguishes the foam? In this CF I cooked only rice porridge in milk in a ratio of 1: 5. While the snake was running, the foam did not rise much, I stirred it once - after the countdown, the porridge was cooked calmly. And I also cook corn 1: 5. True, in this CF I have not tried it yet.
Annitta
Yesterday I cooked rice milk on the mode - porridge (as advised), nothing rose at all, the bowl is clean on the sides.
What mode do you cook?

And milk with water or whole, milk can be diluted 1: 1 with water. In general, corn and oatmeal are running porridge in themselves, they are always in a hurry somewhere, therefore I recommend an oil rim to prevent porridge from escaping.

Girls and boy, and who cooked pasta or spaghetti? In what mode, tell me?
alsou8987
Ilona, I have already cooked pasta from durum wheat (feathers, spirals) several times in the Fig. They turn out well, they are slightly fried from the bottom. Below is a link to the recipe, that's how I cook it.

Even on Plov, I made pasta according to the Navy - it was fried more.
Svetlana1333
alsou8987, and what proportions?
alsou8987
I usually fill it with water so that the tips of the macaroons stick out slightly. Stir a couple of times during cooking. On the forum, the girls also write that for 100 grams of pasta, you need 1 glass of water.
Svetlana1333
Alsou, Thank you!
kiara-25
Alsou, thanks for the hint, but I was afraid that it would take a long time on rice or pilaf. I switched to a multi-cooker at 140 degrees. With cold water, I probably would not risk it, spaghetti with hot water tends to stick together
alsou8987
Svetlana1333, kiara-25Please The main thing is that the pasta is of high quality, not soft. Recently, my husband bought some other macaros, the packaging says that from hard varieties, but in fact they are soft, they boiled very much in the MV. But I still got used to them - I reduced the amount of water and stirred it four times so that it boiled evenly.
kiara-25
Alsou, there are thin macaroons, they seem to be almost two times thinner than ordinary ones. They are different in shape, I bought shells, and so they cook faster, because they are lightweight. I don't remember how it was written on the pack. But they look different, although they seemed to be also from hard grades

For the second time I put chicken thighs on the program to bake on a delayed start, and when I come home in the evening, the time of 25 minutes flashes on the cartoon. That is, it turns out that the program turns off earlier, after 35 minutes, although there is liquid at the bottom. Has anyone had it? Why do you think this happens?
alsou8987
Ilona, I remember something from the instructions that there is some algorithm in the Bake mode. There it seems after some time the cartoon gives a signal and you need to turn the product over and press the Menu button, then the mode continues further. And since no one was around and did not turn over, maybe because of this she turned off earlier. Read the instructions about this mode.
kiara-25
Alsou, thanks for the hint, didn't even think. When I read the instructions I didn't remember this

Yesterday I conducted an experiment with sourdough bread, but since the bowl is very large for bread for 300 grams of flour, I decided to bake in a small form on a silicone mat inside the bowl. On multipovar plus set the first stage at 3 hours 30 degrees, and the second 1-20 hours. 130 degrees. In general, then I put it in AF for 10 minutes for tanning. But for some reason the roof of the bread fell

In the morning I decided to cook semolina porridge in fillet. How fast the program turned out to be, I had to turn it off while the snake was running, that is, before the program was released during working hours. For 100 ml of cereal, 500 ml of liquid was not enough, I added milk later. Everything was going on quite actively and the porridge stuck to the bottom, despite stirring twice a day. Nevertheless, the milk did not even think to rise. As a result, the porridge was cooked very quickly, but with semolina in this cartoon, the control should be constant, since the mode is quite active

Comrades, tell me who cooked borscht in a filipka? And in general, who cooks borscht so that it turns out to be delicious? Does it turn out delicious in one tab or do you cook it in stages?

Help
I'm waiting for Vasya such a rastak husband from a business trip. I decided to bake a light cake - that's just to screw up there and there is nothing! But I'm a jack of all trades - I can ruin anything!
In general ... There the basis is shortbread cookies with plums. oil. Everything is ok here.
The main yummy is curd. Grind, add this and that. And I was lazy to rub and bought a mascarpone. And when I added this and that, everything turned out liquid. I ran to a neighbor, robbed her of another half kg of cottage cheese. I bake in a cartoon. It looks like the sides are browned, but the inside is wet! It's as if you press - and from there like a pimple !!! At the end of the baking time, I took the whole thing along with a saucepan to the balcony. Can it cool down - freeze a little? I would then try to turn it over, on the other hand I would brown it ...
Girls, how does this mascarpone behave? Can it freeze?

Easter cottage cheese pie in a slow cooker

This year I decided to try to bake a curd cake for Easter in a slow cooker.
For the base: 300g cookies, 130g plums. butter, 2 tbsp. l. sugar, a pinch of salt.
Curd mass: 1 kg of grated cottage cheese (I was too lazy and bought special for baking pies), 1 glass of sugar, vanilla sugar (I added about half a teaspoon), 5 eggs, 3 tbsp. l. flour, 100ml heavy cream, zest of one lemon and an orange.

The cookies were ground in a blender until fine flour. Added melted plum. butter + sugar + salt. We mix. We spread it on the bottom of the bowl (preliminarily greased the drain with oil). Slightly formed the sides.
Grated cottage cheese + sugar + vanilla sugar + cream + flour + eggs one at a time, in between, beat the whole thing + zest. Pour onto the base.
Bake for 30 minutes at 180g, later - 60 minutes at 150g.
The first time I made a mistake - in the heat of the heat I began to pull out the pie so that I could eat it without delay! And it fell apart, cracked. This time, after baking, I took out the bowl and left it in the morning. During this time, the cottage cheese "grabbed", though a little donkey.
But the taste of the pie is fantastic! Mom said that like in restaurants

Tatjana, a beautiful pie turned out. His shape is interesting

Is 180 and 150 degrees not much?
Nata1500
Girls, I'm asking about the bowls) The Philips has a ceramic coating, you kind of praise it. In other cartoons, they almost definitely do not like ceramic coating, they praise the non-stick daikin, but at the same time they are dissatisfied with the redmond non-stick bowl with daikin. I'm confused, which is better?
Laslovna
Philip has all the bowls good and non-stick and ceramic! Redmond non-stick is also like nothing.

I did not find non-stick ones on Phillips, they all say ProKeram.

alsou8987
Laslovna I wrote to you correctly, just to clarify that the Philips Daily Collection HD3737 / 03 bowl is 5 liters, and 3736 is 4 liters.
Nata1500
Laslovna, alsou8987, Thank you. And in your opinion, which is preferable, without touching the functions of the multicooker: phillips ceramics, phillips nonstick or redmond daikin?
alsou8987
I personally like Philips' non-stick better.

My wife and I cooked meatballs in a creamy sauce with mushrooms according to a special recipe from a cooking lady. I post 2 pictures, if anyone is interested, you can draw up a recipe. And so it is on their website. We just added rice to the minced meat for softness.

Girls, yesterday I was upset. It was necessary to cook rice porridge in a liter of milk. I was afraid to load such a volume into the Redmond baby. Cooked in Fillet on Porridge. As a result, the porridge ran away from me. I was nearby, I heard the characteristic sound of "surf", I managed to turn it off. But the lid was all soiled with milk and a little got into the valve. I cook porridge a second time (a large volume is rarely needed). For the first time I cooked porridge under supervision: when light steam came out of the valve, I opened the cartoon and mixed it, after that the porridge was cooked without incident. And this time she let everything float freely. Has anyone tried to cook milk porridge on a different mode - on stewing or on hand? What was the result in other modes?
kiara-25
Alsou, I cook any different porridge on a delayed start 100 ml of dry cereal in a multi-glass for half a liter of milk, the porridge rises a maximum of a couple of cm.Try on a multi-cooker for 100 or 90 to be sure
alsou8987
Ilona, thanks, I will try.

Today it was necessary to attach the remnants of mashed baked apples. I decided to make my favorite Tea Cupcake (recipe from a friendly forum, by neznaika 659).
Structure:

Strong tea 100 mg.
Sugar 100 g.
Jam 100 g (any)
Flour 200 g.
Soda 1 tsp (slaked)
Egg 1 pc.
Vegetable oil 1 tbsp. l.

Did a double portion. I replaced the jam with mashed potatoes. I put less flour, because the puree was thick. Oven mode, 120 g., 1 h. 40 min.

The result pleased us, our Filya bakes perfectly The condensate just dripped a little, did not have time to catch

Good day! Please tell me with a choice: tossing between Redmond M150 or Philips 4737. I need a multicooker for stewing, porridge and baking. In Philips I am afraid of overdried rice and buckwheat, judging by the reviews, and strong condensation behind the device, I also read complaints about this. But visually, Philips is much more like it, and the model is newer. Help me decide, please!
Sedne
NadezhdaS, I'm for Phillips, I don't like Redmond.
NadezhdaS
Why don't you? Phillips as a company is more credible, but the quality of Redmond as a multicooker seems to be at the same level. Maybe there are some specific flaws in these models?
Rituslya
I had a Redmond 150. Speaker. Normal multinational. Gave it, in my opinion. I do not remember. I'm tired of it.
Filek's latest models are more pleasant: the bowls are solid, the programs are fine-tuned, the milk porridge does not run.
kiara-25
NadezhdaSso that there is no dry rice and buckwheat just put on "cook" for 20 minutes and everything will be fine
NadezhdaS
Thanks for the answers, I bought Philips today. Now I will try ☺☺☺

good morning, to all lovers of cartoons ..Yesterday I just became the happy owner of a multi Phillips 4731 .., this is my third .. Before that, it was the simplest one with a minimum of programs - polaris, worked for a year, then a gift Panasonic, worked for three years .. now I decided to take more sophisticated programs. several questions immediately appeared, I think that you girls can help me .. There is no drip collector, I didn’t know about it, because I bought on an Internet store on credit, I boiled the water, opened the lid, and the water flows into the groove, and then where? Or should you just wipe it off with a cloth? Tell me, please .. Today I want to cook lamb with potatoes .. I can’t figure it out yet with the programs .. I must first put out the meat, which program should I put on? and then when I throw the potatoes, then on which one? I would be very grateful for your help .. while I have to adapt to it .. in Panas everything was simple, there I mainly used baked goods, and meat and potatoes, and muffins, baked goods, I basically cooked everything on it .. Well, in that and the power is much less than fillet .. thanks for the help ..
Samopal
natalia, I have a Philips HD4749 oven. Works great. About

There is no drip tray, the lid is opened, and the water flows into the groove,
then I wipe either with a cloth, but more often with a paper towel. Since the condensate is a distillate, a damp cloth then still has time to wipe the stove or table. It is difficult for me to give advice on cooking meat, because it already depends on the tastes of the family. You can first lightly fry the meat, then mix with vegetables and cook until tender.
Milagros
Samopal Oleg, thanks ... I'll go take a look ..
boiled a lemon, there is no smell at all, otherwise I read somewhere that some even have food that smells like plastic ..
made porridge oatmeal according to the recipe from the book, 2 m / stack of rolled oats, the most common, 5 m / stack of milk and 3 m / stack of water, salt, porridge mode, cooked for 40 minutes .. I liked it very much, I already added butter and sugar to the plates, had breakfast .. This function works for 5 +++++, unlike the former Panas, where my porridge ran through the valve, and then I put the steaming bowl on top so that the porridge would not run away ..
now the meat .. put on the cooking mode for 1 h20 min, then I'll see what to do, I need to cook it first, then fry it with onions, carrots, and then add the potatoes ..
I will adjust now to my new girlfriend ..
Milagros
My Phillips has been making me happy for two weeks already .. what surprised me was that there was no drip tray, I was thinking. what and how, suddenly water gets on the heating element. but it turned out that they had everything thought out .. water accumulates in the groove, then from there I collect it with a cloth, not a drop !!! does not fall on the table, which is very important, in the previous Panas there was a drip tray, but there was always a puddle on the table, and not a drop falls on the heating element, wonderful !!! I cooked potatoes with lamb, baked a whole chicken and added potatoes, manna, pilaf, I almost succeeded, I poured a lot of water, I usually make 1 to 1, and then I added a little more water and got overcooked rice, meat with barley like pilaf, even the children fell in love pearl barley now .. and the rice on the side dish turned out a little dry .. porridge oatmeal, the porridge did not even run away, and in Panas the very first time oatmeal was poured through the valve, then the next time I smeared the sides with oil or put a cup for steam on top so that the porridge did not run away, there is no such problem here .. in general, very happy with my new assistant ..
