The hot pepper had to be urgently attached, otherwise it turned red in the bushes in our summer heat and got stuck in places. I decided to take a chance and try this Jam!
And we liked it so much that now I will definitely cook more, and more than one portion.
Because from the double yesterday's portion, one jar has already been eaten with my husband. My husband with fried potatoes and lard in the Princesishna, and I also put a couple of teaspoons in cottage cheese with sour cream and with coffee for a sweet soul!
Cooked in a slow cooker, just a double portion. I chopped the pepper first in a meat grinder, after boiling it with a blender with my foot. The vinegar poured a little the rest of the wine vinegar and added apple cider to the norm. The jam turned out like marmalade, thick, non-spreading and transparent. I just want to crawl into the remains of a silver platter try it again and again. And although bitterness and pungency are still present in it, it quickly passes. And the taste of spicy-sweet turned out to be so interesting!
