Dmitriy, Thank you. I just want to get acquainted with the Quenching mode, so I decided not to change the temperature yet. Time, yes, I twist it back and forth.

Added on Tuesday 21 Feb 2017 08:42 PM

Finished my Lummishka program Stewing. Yes, the time has changed, but the default temperature.
Yohu !!! Sooo good! The meat is soft, and the liquid has just evaporated a little.
Moreover, cyclically extinguishing with strong extinguishing fought.

Yesterday I made my first sample of sous vide in this slow cooker.
For the first pancake, lumpiness is minimal)))
Marinated a couple of pieces of turkey drumstick (fillet). Pieces are thin (up to 20mm) and small (50x80 mm approximately).
I kept it in the marinade for a couple of hours, then immersed it in a saucepan for 2 hours at 63 ° C. It turned out, as promised, juicy, tasty and not damp.

There is a separate song about the temperature regime - but the meaning is something like this: my multicooker keeps 63 ° C with 59 ° on the display. But you still have to get to these 63 ° C - and here everything is not so simple. Today (I put pork in a larger piece - 6 cm thick) I poured boiling water + hot water = 63 ° C exactly into a saucepan. Put meat, half a kilo from the refrigerator. The temperature quickly dropped to 50 ° С approximately - and, with 59 ° set on the scoreboard, it reached only 60 ° С in 40 minutes.
Then, for acceleration, I set 62 ° C on the scoreboard. The temperature began to rise rapidly, waited for 63 ° С and again set 59 ° С on the display. On this, in principle, we agreed with her (with the cartoon), for an hour and a half it has been holding 62.9 ... 63.3 ° С. I believe that we will reach the end of the process.

Glory to Chinese automation! Even if she does not know how to do it herself, she allows me)))

After that, about maintaining the temperature. Regularly, for 8 hours, I looked at the thermometer (like last time, I inserted it through the bottom of the lid valve). The temperature was kept, not exceeding 63.5 ° С and not dropping below 63 ° С.
For such a primitive design (when the temperature sensor is only at the bottom) - not bad.

HOWEVER! after the end of the program, the multicooker went into heating mode. And after 5 minutes the thermometer showed 64 ° C.
So, in order to avoid, it would be necessary to turn off this heating. And here I have not yet figured out how to do it.
On the "Heating" button, which is on the left, there is an indicator that the heating will be turned on. What state of the indicator indicates this? The instructions do not say ... and I have never used this feature yet.
Rituslya
I probably won't see you. Well, somehow it didn't work out for me with this cooking method, but, Dmitry, I am happy to read you. I don't know about disabling the Heating. It will be necessary to poke buttons in the process to figure it out.
I cooked buckwheat today on the Express. The proportions are 2 to 4. I added another piece of butter. Gorgeous buckwheat turned out. The scent for the whole apartment.
I abandoned all the cartoons. Lummishechka is the very best!
Now I'll change the cups and start cooking the soup. I haven't tried the soup yet.

Dmitriy, auto-heating is switched off with the start / auto-heating button ..., page 10 instructions ...

Please tell me (my first MV) - how to remove and clean the steam valve? The instruction is very ... laconic

Pull up the plate with the valve (it rocks), the whole structure will be in your hands.
Disassemble, rinse, wipe - and put in place.

Here, in the photo you can clearly see it, is

Alas, there is no recipe book included. I don't really like to run and look on the Internet, I prefer the old-fashioned paper collection.
Please tell me a good book with recipes for a multicooker that is suitable for our model.
Admin
The recipes are on the official website of MARCH - look there.
And if it works out, you can write to them and buy a recipe book, at least for March 1989, they are the same in terms of the set of functions.

And look at the topic for a start here What the multicooker Marta MT-1989 can do (my culinary experiments)
Skazi
Yuri, you can download / print the PDF version of the recipe book yourself.

Now I also have Lumishka.
Rituslya, congratulations on your new assistant! Let it serve for a long time and only please!

Is it really the end of Filka that I had to buy a new cartoon? never found a new cup?

Rituslya
sveta-Lana, Svetul, thank you!
Pleases. : yes: Pleases with its mobility in the settings. If I want to add frying, and if I want to decrease it, also over time. Lummishka and Polik are my workhorses, and Filka is on the shore.
In Filka I only cook milk porridge. Painfully they are in it.

Girls, boys, help me figure it out, please! We sell lummy lu 1446, the previous model, with a shape reminiscent of a Panasonic, with a Daikin polymer coating. Is it the same as in your model 1447, or is it different? The price is very attractive, 2690 rubles. At the same time, there is a model 1445, the price is almost twice as high. They write that it has a ceramic coating on the bowl. The difference is probably due to the coverage? Does it make sense to overpay twice?
And how do you cover now, the owners for over a year?
Evdok
Please tell me, how can I disable auto-heating with a delayed start? I want to cook rice porridge in the morning, the auto-heating option is on by default, how can I turn it off right away?
Found!

Can you please tell me who has been using a ceramic bowl for a long time, how does it behave, does it not stick? I want to buy, but I doubt how long it will last ...

Kind of normal, does not stick nearly... Not as perfect as a regular non-stick coating that only needs to be washed (until it gets scratched). There has never been such a thing that an ordinary sponge with an abrasive layer was not enough for washing (and not new, far from new, I don't want to rip it off!). It's just that sometimes you can't wash with a sponge.

here's what I found about the Lumme LU-1446 CHEF PRO Multicooker the link is not completely put (look at the "feedback" user pretty1509 , she wrote about the cup, and basically everyone writes "There is only one claim - the cup lasted only for a year."

The key word is almost. )))
How long has this bowl been in use? More than a year? And in what modes is it used? At all, or just where the temperature is low?

The Lumme and Marta multicooker is one owner and seller in Moscow and St. Petersburg. Therefore, you can always call the website and get advice from sellers and buy a new bowl or 2 at once when buying a multicooker.
In general, the Lumme Multicooker is an old model, so it is better to immediately make inquiries on the site about pots.

A month ago I bought Lumme LU-1445. the bowl there is ceramic - ANATO coating. A month, of course, is not a long period, but the quality of the bowl is still quite satisfactory, nothing sticks. I cooked in different temperature regimes, fried meat, vegetables, prepared side dishes - rice, buckwheat, pasta. Everything is fine. By weight, if anyone is interested, it is 606 g.
But I At once for this cartoon I bought a redmond RB-A503 bowl with a non-stick coating. In it I cook milk porridge for a child, pastries, compotes, jelly. I bought it not even because I’m afraid of sticking or sticking to my own bowl, but because I don’t like that ceramics retains the smell of the previous dish. Before that I had (and still have) a Brand-6051 multicooker pressure cooker, the bowl there is also ceramic. So, what really bothered me about her was that milk porridge in the morning always (if you just forget to put it in another container) with foreign odors. I didn't bake anything in it because of this. By the way, it was about 1.5-2 years to stick to it.
Therefore, one of the main criteria in choosing a new multicooker for me was that I could easily replace the bowl with bowls from different manufacturers, or buy a second one with a different coating.
Now I can say that this is the most correct option - to have not one bowl, but two at once. I don’t know how this will affect the increase in the service life of the ceramic coating (it will probably last longer, due to less exploitation), but I just relieved that now I have solved the problem of "multi-cooker odors". For girls who have a lot of multicooker, this may not be a problem, because if you cook in different cartoons, the bowls have time to wear out, but who has one - I advise you to immediately buy a second bowl.
I really like the cartoon itself, I even bought an extended warranty for it, now not half a year, but one and a half!

Well, thank you. Let's know that the non-stick Redmond RB-A503 bowl fits in a hatch. Maybe someone will need information.

Please help me figure it out - how is the silicone "fungus" to be installed correctly when assembling the valve on the Lumme-1447? Round up or down?

This should be the position of the valve

This is understandable) I mean, how a silicone piece in the form of a "mushroom" should be installed inside the valve itself - after flushing the valve, I don't remember how it was originally. Down with a hat or up?

girls, tell me, please, I'm trying to cook something in a slow cooker for the first time, I decided to start with a casserole:
Quote: Irman
I baked on the baking program at a temperature of 120 ° for 1 hour and did not open the multicooker for another 35 minutes.
if you choose the mode as in the quote, is it normal that the time immediately went to report? when I boiled water in steam mode, it was first heated up to the required temperature, and then the countdown went.
Admin

These are completely different programs and methods of cooking.
For comparison, take a regular stove:
- to boil water, a boil-boil program is required and it takes time to bring it to a boil.
- to bake a pie, you need to put the baking dish in a hot oven and baking will begin immediately.

So here - for baking, well, you need no additional manipulations, turn on the baking program and the process has begun.
arilla
Admin, Thank you! it was just embarrassing that here we put it as if not in a hot, but in a cold oven (there is no preliminary heating)
Admin

in a cold oven (there is no preliminary heating)

A multicooker heats up very quickly, unlike a large oven. And the structure of a multicooker and an oven cannot be compared.
arilla
it turned out beautifully and absolutely not edible =)
I think I misunderstood about "1.5 cups of sugar", I poured one full measuring cup, which was included with the multicooker. luscious to the point of disgrace. but beautiful ... I liked the process
Admin
Well, sugar and salt, it's very individual, for our personal taste
Knowing this, you need to regulate the amount of sugar.

According to this recipe from Irishka-vernisag I cook constantly, a very tasty curd souffle is obtained.
arilla
irman, I just don't know how to cook) I suspect that I beat it badly, well, I overdid it with sugar.

Tell me, if you bake something in foil without water in a ceramic bowl, will the bowl be bad? I want to try the meat, but I'm not sure, maybe I should take the Teflon bowl first?

These multicooker are twin brothers, so you can use my recipes for now. What the multicooker Marta MT-1989 can do (my culinary experiments)

In the process, your experience will appear, learn to experiment The main thing is that you do not need to be afraid of the device, you need to try to understand its actions, the principle of its operation. Watch the process more and remember
arilla
Admin, I mainly study your recipes) you write very cool. I'm not afraid of the device, but to break this very device) and therefore asked what would happen to the bowl
Admin
My slow cooker has a very well compiled Recipe Book. And since it was compiled and approved directly by the chefs of Mart's website, you can follow the advice that is given there on using the programs and directly the appliance and pots.

If there is such a Recipe Book and instructions for using the device, see what they advise
arilla
tell me, if you put a turkey with a frozen vegetable mixture into stewing or languishing mode, will it be edible? or is it better to have meat first, and then vegetables separately? or vegetables after a while?
Admin

Frozen vegetables cook very quickly. And turkey, especially frozen, takes a long time to cook.
Therefore, it is better to first cook the turkey in chunks until tender, then add vegetables and stew a little more.
arilla
Admin, Thank you! the turkey is raw, but then I'll add the vegetables towards the end anyway

You cannot change anything on the "pilaf" and "bread" program.
but it changed for me ... when I saw the timer 1.15, I got scared. Delivered 45 minutes. And it went to count. It was then that I dug up that first there was to fry the meat there, and then the rice. Well, nothing, ready, enough time. It is a pity that the manufacturer did not specify those in detail. specifications. There is no time or temperature in the modes. All by trial and error))
