Sorbet Mango-Basil

Ingredients

Basil green 40-50 gr.
Mango (pulp) 200-250 gr.
Lemon juice 1 tbsp. l.
Vodka 1 tbsp. l.
For syrup:
Water 40 gr.
Sugar 40 gr.
For decoration:
Basil leaves young

Cooking method

  • Finally I tasted real mango!
  • I bought them completely green, but already from the shape I realized that they were good. What we sold before and did not lie close. And the price was less than peaches. HURRAH!!! For almost 5 days it was matured in a dark place in a paper bag. And finally it became soft and insanely fragrant!

  • For a long time I saw in the net a recipe for mango and basil sherba. I really wanted to try. It was very beautiful! Now I have done it and am sharing the result with you. It does not take much time and food to prepare it. You just need a good mango and green basil.
  • First, you need to cook the basil syrup. ABOUT!! What a thing it is. Such a thing must live in my refrigerator. Therefore, for storage, I cooked double the rate.
  • Sort the basil and wash.
  • Sorbet Mango-Basil
  • All parts are used. Boil water with sugar and add basil to it, cook for 2-3 minutes. Cover and cool. Then, without straining, send to the refrigerator.
  • Mango disassemble Sorbet Mango-Basil
  • Chop into the bowl of a hand blender. Pour with lemon juice and vodka. Beat well. Top up with 70 grams of strained syrup. Beat well. Send to an ice cream maker and freeze according to instructions.
  • If there is none, then you have to work hard. The sherba should be mixed 5-6 times every hour (well, at least 4 times). DO NOT BEAT! And it will be granite! Namely, mix.
  • Ice cream turns out to be insanely aromatic, tasty, sweet and sour and beautiful. The consistency is soft, even rather viscous, without crystals. Very similar jelly sherbe... Only more natural and without starch! I recommend trying it! And syrup can now be added to all fruit salads!

Oh, delicious! Yesterday I was also looking for mangoes in our area, but in the pouring rain I didn't want to look for a long time. Somewhere they all disappeared.

They are not taking them, are they? So it's worse for them - we can easily find a replacement!

Here I sit and lick my lips!

Marinochka thanks for stopping by. I would never have looked at him if not for the price. Yes, and I bought on an Internet with delivery - was, was not. But it turned out to be so lovely! I wonder if I named the recipe correctly. Basically it's dairy-free ice cream

Irish, look what you found on the sherbet:

- SHERBET: confection - a thick mass of fruit or coffee, chocolate and sugar, usually with nuts
- this is Dahl.

And for Ozhegov - Sherbet -, sherbet, m. (Turkic serbet from Arabic). Eastern soft drink made from fruit juices with sugar; fruit syrup.

Probably, it is better to attribute the dessert to sorbet (you can write sorbet as well).
Exactly to the sorbet - look here:
Sorbe, also sorbet (fr. Sorbet) - a frozen dessert made from sugar syrup and fruit juice or puree. Instead of a fruit filling, it is also possible to use champagne or wine.

If necessary, I will delete the post when you read it!

Nikusya
what?
Tumanchik
Quote: Nikusya

what?
I was very sore throat as a child and they always melted ice cream for me. in a large enamel mug. green. sometimes the ice cream was in the cup. there were no microwaves. my mother drowned on the gas. and often forgot and the ice cream was hot. there they crumbled a loaf - I was always a dead thinness. this taste is still in the mouth. and then I did not love him.

And with us, in our heat, ice cream was always frozen in oak, it was cold to keep it! And we ate it !!

Galya is basil! I cooked it more and has been in the fridge for more than a week (I post the recipes later). This is a great way to keep the aroma in the syrup. Anything I've prepared for this before is bullshit. I used to insist and digest more. As a result, a huge amount of color and smell was lost. And he is also green! And this one perfectly preserved all the elements. There is already a mint and lemon balm. Late with jasmine - faded. Too late took up the recipe - mango is a difficult thing if you buy it cheap.

So it is understandable that it is basil, but it is also sweet, which is why I cannot imagine basil in syrup. Thanks for the photo
