Ingredients

flour 450 g
warm milk 125 ml
eggs 2 pcs
butter 120 g
sugar 3 tbsp. l
salt 0.5 tsp
chocolate 50 g
almond 30 g
For dough:
flour 50 g
milk 125 ml
sugar 1 tbsp. l
yeast 15 g
For decoration:
powdered sugar 3 tsp

Cooking method

  • 1) In a bowl, dissolve yeast with warm milk, sugar and flour and leave for 30 minutes.
  • 2) Melt the butter (do not boil).
  • 3) Sift flour into a bowl, add sugar, salt, eggs and chocolate, broken into small pieces. While stirring, gradually add milk, butter and dough.
  • Knead the dough with a wooden spoon (not steep).
  • 4) Grease the cake pan with butter, sprinkle with breadcrumbs.
  • 5) Put almonds on the bottom of the mold.
  • 6) Gently place the dough into the mold.
  • 7) Let the dough rise (40 minutes).
  • Put a mold with dough in an oven preheated to 180-200 degrees.
  • 9) Remove the finished Gugelhupf, turn it over and sprinkle with powder.

Note

I used cashews in this recipe as there were no almonds. I liked it even better.

I think it should work. The dough is yeast. I did a similar (recipe not yeast) in both high and low. Both are good. It just looks prettier in high uniform.
