Chicken "Provincial"

Ingredients

a hen 1 PC.
olive oil 4 tbsp. l.
salt
black pepper
sweet paprika
potatoes (preferably young) 400-500 g.
Bulgarian pepper 1 PC
bulb onions 2 pcs.
garlic 2 teeth
tomato 300 BC
chicken broth) 300 ml.

Cooking method

  • Quite a simple and common dish. But I found it on the Internet under the guise of a German dish. That's why I'm bringing it here.

  • Divide the chicken into 8 parts (I had drumsticks).
  • In 2 tbsp. l. add olive oil salt, pepper and paprika. Spread the chicken with this mixture. Fry in a preheated pan.

  • Fry onions in a pan where chicken was fried. Add garlic.

  • Add bell pepper.
  • Add potatoes.

  • Pour in the broth, salt, pepper and, if you like, add herbs.
  • Let it simmer for 5 minutes.

  • Pour the vegetables into a baking dish. On top, put the chicken and tomatoes, cut into slices (but better whole cherry tomatoes).
  • Place in the oven and bake for 45 minutes.
  • But we are not looking for easy ways and pour everything, in the same sequence, into the bowl of Shteba.
