Shortbread cupcakes with streusel

Ingredients

dough:
225 gr flour
1 tea flat spoon of baking powder
75 g sugar
1 bag of vanilla sugar
1 egg
125 gr soft butter or margarine
for strosel:
125 gr flour
1 table. flat spoon of cocoa
0.5 teaspoon cinnamon
75 g sugar
100 g soft butter or margarine
for lubrication:
4 table. tablespoons of liquid (drinking) cream
25 g butter

Cooking method

  • Mix flour with baking powder, add the rest of the ingredients and knead the dough. Wrap the finished dough in plastic wrap and put in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

  • For streusel, mix flour with cocoa, add sugar, flavorings, butter and mix into crumbs.

  • Divide the dough into two halves. Roll out each part into a rectangle measuring 20x30 cm. Sprinkle with half a strusel and roll into a roll along the long side.

  • Cut the roll into 6 pieces about 5 cm long.Place the pieces of the roll into prepared muffin tins, put in an oven preheated to 180 ° and bake until golden brown for about 25 minutes.

  • Grease the finished muffins with butter and cream.

  • Very crumbly and fragrant!
