Strawberry balsamic jam

Ingredients

Strawberry St. 1 kg
Cane brown sugar 700-800 gr
Balsamic vinegar 100 g
Lemon juice (optional) 1 PC

Cooking method

  • I really love the combination: strawberry with balsamic vinegar. So I made the same jam:
  • Wash the strawberries, peel, remove the half-leg.
  • Cut and fold into a saucepan. Cover the strawberries with sugar and leave for 5-6 hours (you can overnight). You can also add lemon juice if you wish. In the morning or after the lapse of time, pour balsamic vinegar into a saucepan of strawberries. Put a saucepan with strawberries on fire, bring the mixture to a boil and simmer for 5-10 minutes over low heat to evaporate the acetic acid. Remove the pan from heat and leave to cool at room temperature. We repeat the procedure one more time. Next, grind the strawberry mass in a saucepan with a blender until smooth (but I like not to beat very much, so that later small pieces of strawberries come across). Place the saucepan with the strawberry mixture on the fire and simmer for 30 minutes.
  • Pour the ready-made hot jam into sterile jars and tighten the lids.
  • Bon Appetit!
