It's strange how .. Now I'll find all the raspberry tea and taste it separately.

I also like raspberry tea very much. Thank you Lyudmila for this topic. And thanks to the whole friendly company. You are so interesting to read!
lappl1
fedorovna1, Tatyana, I am very glad to see you in the subject! It's good that you responded! Thanks for the feedback on raspberries. What other teas did you make?
And in general, do not disappear! Let's talk - about tea and just like that. For outside conversations, I created the theme "Tea Gazebo" yesterday. Welcome to visit us. We love to chat about everything and listen to different tips. I'm sure you have something to tell us. Now we are talking about seedlings, for example ...

Mary Poppins, we will wait for the result of the tasting.

I read it and went to brew the penultimate spoonful of raspberries. I'm not sour. Garden raspberry, remontant, harvested in August. And the forest was, too, not sour.
Ladies, do you fertilize raspberries? If so, how?
fedorovna1
Quote: lappl1
What other teas did you make?
I made cherries, pears, raspberries and of course Ivan tea. I liked all the teas. The pear only has a somewhat weak taste. And most importantly, I tasted them at the end of January. The taste has become brighter or something.

Tatyana, it seems to me that you make loose leaf tea. So? Because granular always tastes stronger. My pear tea is very strong in taste. And very dark.

That's right! The longer our tea stands, the tastier and more aromatic it becomes. This, the so-called dry fermentation, adds taste and aroma to it.

I am nothing. Because its own and so it grows. And for tea, I take wild.
Elena Kadiewa
In the raspberry bush (in the very heart) I always spank a shovel of fresh manure. This is feeding, and from all kinds of pests. I put not only in raspberries, but in all shrubs. Yes, even when I was just starting to deal with the dacha, one granny said that in the fall, when you dig potatoes, I throw all the little things under raspberries too.
Oh, I didn't write here again, Lyudochka, I'll clean it up later.
Galina Iv.
Today I will go with the purchased tea to figure out who is the manufacturer? I even doubt that this willow tea was sold to me. Brewed yesterday, so muddy !!
paramed1
Raspberries do not like acidic soils. Maybe that's why? Or the fermentation process is disrupted during harvesting.

Lena, don't take it away! very useful info! We try to do our best for ours!

Lena, and under your raspberries from all around the bear and Colorado beetles have not moved? Don't throw fresh manure into delicate plants! Fresh is bad at all. Throw last year. And put phosphorus with potassium.
Linadoc

And also dung beetles and May beetles, they also respect fresh manure (and at the same time gnaw young roots).
paramed1
Yeah, and the larvae lay there. And then questions - why is tea sour ...
Elena Kadiewa
So we sell manure in the spring, it turns out that it was last year, I put it in the fall-frosts with us, God forbid! The bears did not come, and we do not have the Colorado potato beetle. Here
paramed1
Flax, not bears, but bears! Don't you have it? It turns out not fresh anymore. Okay then. But the soil is acidic under the bushes ... In the new season, try to find forest raspberries. Tea is very different - more aromatic and much deeper taste.
Elena Kadiewa
Oh, Veronica, sleepily read about bears! And I add minerals, as without them. It will be necessary to collect the forest leaves and make tea from them. Stop, I hardly peeled my leaves, only in abandoned dachas, so the sourness is not because of this, most likely because of the swamps.
Galina Iv.
Ha! what kind of bears we have! we do not have them in the north.
And in raspberries I am just attracted by this sourness, light, fragrant, just fabulous!
Because of her, raspberries come first!

Hi girls! Do you accept boys into your group ??? I thought to write everything, not write. It just so happened that my desire to take part in tea affairs also happened at the end of autumn. And my experience is practically nonexistent. and as it turned out there was nothing to try. But I still used one option and want to write about it. I live in the south and there is certainly something to profit from in the season, but for now I will stop only at Cypress. I read a note here that someone did something, but that's all, I want to describe my experience. I cut it like this from a kilogram of leaves and a half, of course there is not a lot of juice in it, but it spins through a meat grinder and crumbles strongly. After scrolling, I left it for Fermentation for 6 hours, but in the end it stood all 16 hours, the smell from the coniferous tree generally turned into citrus and some other fruit. I tried to brew tea after drying, the color is yellow. Let's see what will happen in a month while the second week is resting. Of course, one thing, but the granules were crumbled, it became less than crumbs. Maybe, of course, something is not done that way, so I hope you tell me.

Zachary
It grows but is rarely found on forest edges, clearings, clearings, among shrubs in the mountainous Crimea. It is quite rare, but always forms thickets. Of course, if you find it, be lucky
Galina Iv.
Zachary, hello to Crimea !!!! but we have for the happiness of getting a cherry, and she is in the lead in the voting!
What cool photos you have, everything is beautifully and neatly presented to us.

Thank you very much for describing your experience. It will be useful to us. For example, I do not ferment conifers, but only twist them in a meat grinder and immediately dry them in a dryer. But here is Linadoc - Lina ferments all the conifers that grow on her site. and she has a lot of things growing! Therefore, as soon as she appears in our "Tea Gazebo", she will immediately answer you.
By the way, we have some changes this week. now we're going to talk off the topic of tea in a new topic. Come to us and there, it's warm and cozy there. Here is a link to the "Tea Gazebo" https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=415592.0
Zakhari, thank you for looking into the topic. Stay with us.
Zachary
Thank you very much for the company, I hope that with your help I will also learn something. And of course the most important thing is Girls! I congratulate you on your holiday and wish you to keep your beauty and attractiveness for many years. May your kindness and love continue to warm your loved ones, who are most able to appreciate them. Let March 8 become a fabulous day for you, after which your whole life will become more interesting, colorful and enjoyable. Well, more good and tasty tea

Do you remember, girls and boy, I wrote that when something crumbles very strongly, then you need to drive this mass through a meat grinder a second time, and then you get excellent granules?

I fermented pine needles. I'll go and brew it, I haven't drank pine tea for a long time ...
Anyuta73
Zachary, Welcome, diluted our women's team, I hope you will be warm and comfortable with us.

I also do not ferment conifers, they contain substances that prevent the development of bacteria, so fermentation still does not occur. I just twist and dry in the oven. The smell is breathtaking. I add a teaspoon to tea when brewing, especially during epidemics of flu and colds.
Elena Kadiewa
Ltd! Lena kubanochka changed her image, it's not very usual! The first swallow flew to us, the male sex, it is very pleasant, and although he writes that he is a convert, it is immediately clear that there is experience. I made conifers (cedar), already in winter, but did not ferment, but I must try, especially since this raw material is full in winter. Zachariy, welcome!

Galina Iv.
Zachary, what a gentle and anxious congratulation! Thank you very much!

Zakhar, I made cypress, pine, juniper, larch, spruce. Cypress differs from them all for the better. I fermented for 3 hours, then 2 hours, then 1 hour, until I realized that phytoncides in the needles simply do not allow microorganisms to develop there, which causes this fermentation. Therefore, I think that fermentation of conifers is pointless. I ran it twice through a meat grinder to get normal granules, but they are still loose. I like cypress by its taste, aroma and action. I use it in mixes, for example "Autumn", because this mix has, in addition to its direct purpose - tea for pleasure - also preventive (for the prevention of ARVI).
Thanks for the compliments!

Zakhary, do not be alarmed, we are good, we just urgently need fishermen and installers. For consultation
Zachary
Girls, thanks for the answer on the needles. About the fisherman. Yes, a fisherman, but mostly for sea fish, although if possible, he does not mind and fish in fresh water. Not an installer

Linadoc What is your "Autumn" mix. Can you find out more ???

Zachary, Good day.
My granules crumbled from the fact that I did not dry tea (Ivan-tea) in the oven, but fried it in a cast-iron-ceramic mold. While stirring, the tea granules crumbled and therefore also a lot of tea dust.

How did you dry?

And according to the pictures on the Internet, cypress and thuja are very similar - are they not the same thing?
