Raspberries
innesss-ka, how was everything resolved with the multicooker?
innesss-ka
Raspberries, nothing has been resolved yet. The fact is that I live in Lugansk. I think you are aware of what is happening here. Now, in general, the tin began. And since last week, courier delivery to the city has not been working. We managed to knock them out with difficulty. information in the SC that they ordered a spare part, what - we said we did not report during the repair process, only after the fact. But now, accordingly, they cannot get it. I will ring. What we managed to understand: there should be no write-off, apparently - repair. Something like this.
Raspberries
innesss-ka, yes the situation you have there - you will not envy. Good luck and patience!
Feta
innesss-ka, I am tormented by the question about your multi - have you decided everything? I rush between M13 and 01 and I can't make up my mind.
innesss-ka
Feta, unfortunately the situation in the city is such that it is not up to now. Neither me nor the SC, if it still works at all (I doubt all organizations are temporarily not working now). But I had about the same choice as you. 01 live I never saw. But in absentia I identified for myself the following disadvantages: not convenient location of the display and buttons (on the lid), ceramic. a bowl (without the ability to buy a Teflon one), as well as the absence of a multi-cook. But as for me, maybe I'm not putting emphasis on that. What can I say in defense of M13. I didn't have time to cook much in it, but everything turned out well. The pier cooks very well. porridge. Groats, oddly enough, are more ponra not on the touch express but on the mode of the same name. Omelettes with fillings are delicious. Cottage cheese casserole. Horns on the pasta prog. I don't remember everything that I had time to try. But I took it for certain dishes. Suitable for my requests one hundred percent. And you decide. If it were not for this jamb, I would definitely recommend it to you. And so ...
Feta
innesss-kaThank you for your answer, I choose a second slow cooker with a small volume for children's dishes (cereals) mainly, but I would like to be able to use it and then at full capacity, so to speak.
Raspberries, Have you made your choice?
OkSUNa
Can you please tell me, is the shutdown button located on the multicooker itself, as in 23 models, convenient and really unique? Or can you just buy a cord with a switch for any model?
Manna
OkSUNa, if you need to disconnect the multicooker from the network without removing the plug from the outlet, you can buy a Redmond wire with a switch. It will go with any multicooker.
OkSUNa
Manna, thank you) I meant it) And, in general, in your opinion, the switch located right in the multicooker body is convenient in itself (after all, the body heats up during operation, if I understand correctly) How many revised the characteristics of the models, but this is I met a feature for the first time
Manna
There are other multicooker with a toggle switch. For me personally, this is not a selection criterion at all. I always unplug multicooker from the network - I don't have as many sockets as there are multicooker. As for the case heats up ... Heats up to a slightly warm state. But how does this relate to the presence of buttons on the case?
OkSUNa
And for me this is not the main criterion, but only an interesting characteristic). There is no connection with the presence of a switch on the case, I mean the opposite situation). Will the heating of the case damage the switch itself? Although, if to a slightly warm state, then, I think, is unlikely)

My husband gave me a Redmond RMC M23 multicooker for my birthday. : girl_dance: The day before yesterday I received it. Yesterday I cooked a delicious pumpkin porridge with oatmeal in milk !!!
I collected the recipe from different recipes, adjusted it to fit myself ... Well, I don't like cooking according to a template, I like experiments ...
So, boil 150 g of pumpkin for a couple of 20 minutes. Ceil.
Grease the bowl with vegetable (you can use butter) oil, add 1 multi-glass of Extra oatmeal, add a pinch of salt and 2 tbsp. l. Sahara. Then pumpkin puree, pour in 500 ml of milk and 200 ml of water (if for children, then 300 ml of water). Mix well.
Multi-cook mode, 100 degrees, 25 minutes ... And that's it! Mix. Very tasty and very tender ... If you wish, you can add more sugar or better honey ... Excellent breakfast.
Today I cooked a delicious soup with meat broth with potatoes, pumpkin and oatmeal ...
I'm planning to bake a vanilla biscuit in the evening.
I am 1000% satisfied with the gift !!! I don't want another. She chose this model herself in an internet store.
A good and very necessary thing !!!
Wildebeest
vorobyshek, please tell me how the biscuit turned out.
I’m ashamed to admit that I’ve had the cartoon for three months, and I’m still not going to bake a biscuit. It happens the same.

vorobyshek, please tell me how the biscuit turned out.
I’m ashamed to admit that I’ve had the cartoon for three months, and I’m still not going to bake a biscuit. It happens the same.
The biscuit turned out gorgeous !!!! I haven’t baked biscuits for a long time, because they didn’t work for me ... Even with a baking powder only 1.5 cm in height and a bump in the middle ... It always fell off ... And here such beauty ... The biscuit was baked without soda and baking powder for 4 eggs and I got it smooth, perfect with a height of 5 cm !!!! The night survived and just cut it into three cakes ... I'm happy !!!
4 eggs, 1 tbsp. sugar, 0.5 bag of vanilla sugar, 1 tbsp. sifted flour, 10 g butter.
Separate the whites from the yolks.
Beat the cold whites into a strong foam, add sugar and vanilla sugar a little, without stopping to beat.
Add the yolks one at a time, whisking constantly.
Gently, little by little, introduce the sifted flour, slowly stirring with a spoon in one direction (jewelry work, so as not to lose airiness).
Grease a bowl of a multicooker with butter, sprinkle with semolina, put the dough in it, smooth it out.
Bake in Bake mode for 50 minutes. I left it on auto heating for 10 minutes.
Then we insert a container for a double boiler into the bowl and, holding it with our hand, turn over the bowl of the multicooker.
The sponge cake remains on the steamer container. If you eat like that, then you can eat right away.
If for a cake, then stand overnight, and then cut into three cakes.
Height 5 cm.
Now I will try to throw off a photo.
vorobyshek
Ahhh ... I get it !!!! Thank you very much!!!!

vorobyshek, I agree, the biscuit turned out to be gorgeous and special thanks for the recipe.
Only I have a question again: why stand a biscuit for a cake overnight? For me it's so cold and I'm cutting into cakes, etc.
vorobyshek
Everyone advises letting the biscuit stand overnight. I have friends who are excellent pastry chefs and bake gorgeous cakes to order. So they advised me to let the biscuit stand. If he goes to the cake. If you want, then I will clarify why this is needed ...
Manna
The maturation of the biscuit is necessary so that it does not "float" from the impregnation, and there is no smell of soda (if the biscuit is on soda):
Quote: Husky
Victoria, chocolate on boiled water always has a moist structure after baking. Since the structure is wet, the match, when removed from the biscuit, will be at least a little bit, but with wet grains. This biscuit MUST BE RIPE. Then when cutting the biscuit it turns out:
- moist, but not sticky structure
- biscuit without soda smell
- the sponge cake is prevented from falling apart when cutting
Maturation is necessary for all biscuits, but chocolate on boiling water needs it like no other biscuit.

Berry Raspberry, Have you made your choice?
while I use what is available, I will probably take RMC-M13 and RMC-M140
Raspberries
innesss-ka, if possible, could you weigh m13, choose a small multicooker, but at the same time looking for a light one, compare the weight of different models, often I drive
Manna

often I drive
Do you need it for 3L? It's just that there are very small ones, road ... like Redmond 01 (1) or Philips 3060. Both are 2 liters.
Raspberries
2 this is somehow very small, at least 2.5, I need 3 full servings to be able to make
Wildebeest
I did bake a biscuit. The biscuit turned out to be excellent, but I set the time for 40 minutes. But the biscuit did not ripen. As soon as it cooled down, I had to send it to the freezer, maybe. urgently had to leave for a few days.

In my other slow cookers, I cook chicken on the "pilaf" mode (Panasik or Lakuchina). At the end, I get a juicy chicken with a fry, and in the M23 it seems as if there is not enough time set by me for 1 hour and 30 minutes, there is unevaporated liquid, I have to set the "frying" mode for ten minutes, after which I get the desired result. This alignment is not critical for me.
innesss-ka
innesss-ka, if possible, could you weigh m13,
Raspberries, probably will not be (I suspect that I will not see her anymore). But I've been asked before, so there is an answer for you
"The weight of a multi with a bowl is 2200 g. + 66 g. a plastic steamer. By the way, the weight of the bowl is 296 g."
Raspberries
innesss-ka, Thank you! I asked this question on the website of. store, they told me - about 4 kg., I doubted, too much for the baby.
innesss-ka
No, 4 is rather gross. I really miss her now. Honestly, there is an idea to buy the same.

Girls, I want to take 23 for the dacha, ram parents. Will the old man handle it? It's just that from 170 they refuse to work, but here the wheel and the button, it seems to me, should be easy

There is nothing complicated in it ... Everything is simple to the point of disgrace ... I think she can handle it.
Cirre
Well, then I'll go take
Wildebeest
Galya, maybe it's even easier for them to buy something? No multi-cook. They will not show off in the country, the main thing for them is to cook.
Cirre
Light, I have 4503 and 170, okay 170 they do not like, but 4503 buttons do not suit them. I was attracted to this circle, which to twist and press the button. I myself will use in the country
Wildebeest
Cirre, if you also expect to use it, tady oh.
By the way, I really liked the "rice / cereal" function in it. Great sushi rice, good function.
Wildebeest

Today I cooked three different cereals at the same time. The result is amazing.
I took three glass jars and put different cereals in each jar: semolina, corn and oatmeal. She poured milk and some water.
I put the cans in a bowl of water, previously lined with a silicone circle. First, I brought the water to a boil in the "steam" mode, prevented the porridge, then set the multi-cooker to 85C and set the time to 3 hours 30 minutes, turned off the automatic heating.
In the morning I received gorgeous stewed porridge with cream-colored milk. The semolina was without lumps.
Later I cooked barley porridge in water, but in a clay pot for less time, an hour and a half. The result was very pleasing.

Thus, I solved a lot of problems for myself in providing eaters with their favorite cereals.
Fleuron
My husband gave me my first cartoon for the new year. I, happy as an elephant, decided to please him and cook something like that for the festive table. There is boiled pork in the recipe book, but I didn’t like the need to wrap it in foil there. I tried this recipe in the oven, the meat gives juice and is simply stewed in it. And I wanted just juicy, stewed boiled pork. I bought a piece of pork neck for 1.5 kg, pickled it, tied it up, quickly fried it in a dry frying pan for a crust and at night at 30 put all this beauty on the "languishing" mode, went to bed with a smile. If I knew what would happen next, then there would be no smile. At first it smelled, oh, how it smelled, through my sleep I was enjoying the aromas from the kitchen. Then she began to podvanyat burned, unstuck her eyes, went to look. I open it, and there !!!! Well, it naturally stinks, I don’t know what the devil pulled it, or I was still asleep - but I decided that it wasn’t enough for the meat, and it’s raw inside, and put it on a multi-cooker at 80 grams for 2 hours, it’s clear that I didn’t do it out of great intelligence ... In the morning, the first thing I rushed to see what happened. Well, you have to try to spoil the meat SO.From below, it naturally cooked to charcoal. All the juice flowed out and also thickened to blackness, all the rest of the meat was saturated with the smell of burnt and dry like cotton wool. And then my husband looked into the kitchen, when he saw that with meat, in short I surprised him, the current is unpleasant. So I want to ask the knowledgeable, why then this mode of languor is needed and HOW DOES IT WORK? I read here, temperature regimes from official sources will not be achieved, so I appeal to the "happy" owners of this model. Help, but it’s somehow silly to achieve languor with a multi-cook when there is such an automatic mode
Cirre
I make jellied meat on the function. You needed some water, but everything just burned out, you had to wrap it tightly in foil and pour water over it, your meat would melt and it would be delicious. Do not neglect the advice in the book.

Fleuron
Cirre, my grandmother made boiled pork in the oven, of course without water. If we take the classic languor, then it is kept at temperatures of 80-90 gr., I think that in such modes nothing should burn or am I wrong? And since it burned out, then there is clearly not 90. So I think, why should I cook on this mode ?? and how does it work ?? first brings to a boil then lowers the temperature, and how much does it reduce ??? By the way, recipe №61 Pork is made without water, in foil, yes, but there is no water. What are you cooking on this mode?
Cirre
Fleuron I wrote above that on this function I torment meat for jellied meat. And in the book they recommend "STEALING" - for the preparation of rich cereals, "stewed" soups, tender stews, mashed potatoes, stewed meat and aspic.
Cirre
But for the foil there is a function "BAKING" - for baking various dishes in foil.
Manna
Virgos, in this thread at the very beginning (there are not many pages at all, you can read the topic from the beginning) discussed this mode. This mode has nothing to do with languor at all - the liquid boils on it. Therefore, if languor is needed, then this is a multi-cook.
Wildebeest
So I didn't make friends with the languor regime. Violent boiling takes a long time.
lovely80
Girls, this is my first cartoon and, yes, she's weird. Almost all the automatic modes I've tried didn't work for me. On the stewing mode, I cooked stew according to the Admin recipe, after two hours the meat began to burn. I also stewed meat in banana sauce on it - it was burnt. The languor generally boils violently. Only milk porridge came out. In general, now only a multi-cook. When I bought, I thought that I would cook everything in it, but as a result, it is occasionally taken out of the cabinet. Or is it my habit of cooking on gas or cartoon is not successful until I understand
Cirre
lovely80 And I adore her, she’s the third in my company to 4503 and 170. Most of all I love 4503, but there are few programs, and I took this one for giving to my parents, but I’m having fun myself, it’s much better than the rare 170
vorobyshek
And I cook entirely in it ... Soups, borscht, porridge, meat, gravy, jellied meat, pastries and so on ... She works for me like a slave Izaura ...
Wildebeest
Fleuron, do not rush to despair. She has excellent automatic programs. Now I cook rice only in it. I tried to cook pasta, it turned out no worse than in Lakuchin.
I cook porridge in a multi-cooker, I like well-cooked porridge.
On the stew mode, I fry the chicken. I put it with a little water, the time is 1 hour 20 minutes. or 1 hour 30 minutes. (depends on the size of the poultry parts). By the end, the water often boils away and my parts are fried. It turns out almost like with the pilaf mode. If, after the specified time, the liquid has not boiled away, then I open the lid and set the frying mode.
She does a good job of cooking broths. The broths are transparent, like an angel's tear.

lovely80, you just have to get used to the cartoon. Cook in it more often and you will understand what and how to do.
Feta
I cook the child's porridge in the morning in half a measuring cup and have already resigned myself to the fact that the removable lid is always in porridge. Today I cooked porridge in a glass of 220 ml of rolled oats and 3.5 glasses of milk + water. The result - the porridge ran out of the multi onto the table, simultaneously filling all the notches at the top. What could be wrong - my crooked hands or something wrong with the lid or the temperature regime? (I cook porridge on the mode of the same name).
Cirre
Feta Sveta, you most likely have something with the temperature, I cook the porridge, it does not run away, and so that the lid does not get dirty, I close it with a steaming bowl. Bring it for repair, let it check
Wildebeest
Feta, try to grease the sides of the bowl with oil, this can save the porridge from escaping, and try to insert a double boiler to the heap.
PapAnin
I solved the issue of running away like this - now I cook porridge in water, and then add milk.
Initially, I take less water than is required for such an amount of cereal.
The porridge turns out to be thick, then I dilute it with milk to the desired consistency.
Any porridge turns out great.

Power 500 W / 860 W
Voltage 220-240 V, 50 Hz
Bowl volume 3 l / 5 l
Manna, and what does it mean - the volume of the bowl is 3 l / 5 l? This means that the volume of liquid under the rim of the bowl is 5 liters. - that is, the total volume? Is 3 liters a useful volume? I look in online stores different multi, they write a volume of 5 liters, and in the photo of the bowl there are risks of a useful (as I understand it) volume of up to 2.8. Is it a useful volume of 2.8 liters in them? or not? And also on the power of this multi question. Somewhere I saw that its power was only 500 watts. I think this is not enough. But in this thread I saw through a fraction and 860 watts. If I understood correctly, then its maximum power is 860 W. I don't have a multicooker and I'm just picking it up.
innesss-ka
Ludmila, model M13 - 3 liters, 500 W, and M23 - 5 liters, 860 W. Two different multicooker.
Forgive me for answering instead of Manna.
