Beetroot caviar (Panasonic SR-TMH 18)

Beetroot caviar (Panasonic SR-TMH 18)

Ingredients

Medium beet 4 things.
large carrots 2 pcs.
large onions 4 things.
Tom. paste 2 tbsp. l.
(or homemade thick volume juice 150 ml)
garlic 1-2 h.
salt, black pepper, a pinch of coriander, rast. oil.

Cooking method

  • Finely chop the onion, grate the carrots and beets, but in each vegetable in a separate bowl.
  • Turn on the BAKING program in a multicooker for 50 minutes, pour in oil so that the bottom is covered. I love "buttered" caviar, so everyone will determine the amount of oil himself. Put the onion and let it fry until transparent for about 20 minutes, then add the carrots and fry with the onion for another 20 minutes.
  • Then add the beets, add a little salt to it, so that it starts up the juice and let the vegetables roast for 10 minutes. When the BAKING program ends, switch the MV to STEW for 1 hour. Stir the vegetables several times in the process.
  • 15 minutes before the end of the program, add tomato, salt, pepper to taste, chopped garlic, a pinch of coriander if desired.
  • If you add tomato juice, you can turn on the BAKE for 20 minutes and let the excess moisture evaporate. Such caviar can be made without tomato, and acidifying it with vinegar a little is also very tasty.
  • I don't add greens to keep the "original" taste.
  • This "algorithm" can be used to cook caviar on the stove.

Note

I looked through the search, I found a couple of recipes, but they are not similar to mine, so I am writing a separate topic. I love beets, but I love them deliciously cooked.
This caviar is made from raw beets, it turns out, in my opinion, tastier and healthier. The taste of the dish depends on the taste and variety of beets. I take beetroot for caviar "checked", so that it is very sweet, which means tasty.

Gaby
Elenka, I also love beets, almost cooked like this - without carrots, I didn't think that they could be added. I'll try with carrots too, I don't think the difference will be fundamental. +1 for reminding me.
Elenka
Gaby, thanks for the plus sign! I'm glad the recipe came in handy.
In collaboration with carrots, it turns out unusually tasty! Try it! The recipe was torn out, literally, from the magazine "Krestyanka" my grandmother was in her youth. We have loved for many years.
lenok2_zp
but my grandmother did not have a multicooker, I also respect beetroot caviar, I cook it from time to time purely for myself, my household is shocked when I eat it, but you shouldn't pay attention to them, they are also shocked by harbuz porridge and fermented baked milk, some strange
Elenka
Lenok, I cook it for 20 years on the stove. And the grandmother did not even suspect about such a dish.
celfh
Lenchik! What a great beetroot caviar! Straight taste felt
Elenka
Tanechka, Thank you! Try to cook it sometime.
Celestine
This is one of the most delicious grandma's dishes
Only there everything is fried separately with the addition of tomato, and it is combined before stewing.
Thank you for reminding me, I will do it ... urgently, especially since now in the cartoon and the dishes are less dirty ... how delicious it is with bread
Twist
Lenochka, I am with a report and a tremendous thanks for the recipe! I just cooked in a skillet - everything worked out great. I cooked a little differently, but I liked your recipe much more. Henceforth, I will cook this way.

Helen, I came to say thank you for the caviar! Already cooked several times. Everyone liked it.
I do not expose a photo, it is no different from the previous two. I, however, added a little ice cream sweet pepper and eggplant, incredible!
Elenka
Tonya, thanks! Enjoy cooking and eating!
fronya40
I do it for two days. well, very tasty !!!!!!!!!!!!!! thank you
Elenka
Tanya, good luck! Apparently you got a delicious beet ...
I recently did, but the beets were not tasty ... I did not eat at all ... I threw them away.

Elenka
Thank you, Natusya!
I will cook one of these days - I already have some delicious beetroot.
Vitalinka
Elenka, thank you very much for such a simple and delicious caviar recipe!
Yesterday I cooked in CF, so quickly and most importantly, no headache with boiling or baking beets. We loved the caviar!

Lena, and on what grater do you rub beets and carrots? Small long or large long?
And I add a little more sugar, well, just a pinch, this has its own charm!
Elenka
Vitalinka, thank you! For health, you need to cook for yourself.
Natusya, rubbing on the usual large, beetroot.
Natusichka
Thank you, Lenochka, I understand
Grypana
Just this morning I was doing "red caviar" in the cartoon. Only now, instead of juice, I just cut and add tomatoes. Magical and helpful.
marushka_an
Helen, I have long dreamed of making caviar, finally got ready, I want to ask a technical question, is it better to add refined or aromatic oil?
Elenka
Marushka, I cooked both refined and aromatic. Delicious in both cases. Unrefined oil gives its own note, on the refined taste of vegetables is brighter.
marushka_an
Thank you for your feedback
Natusichka
Helen! I want to thank you again for the recipe. Yesterday I cooked this caviar, how delicious it is! I used to cook only with onions and beets (and then, with boiled). And I really liked this one, especially now it makes me happy, during the fast!
Elenka
Natusya, I, too, at one time, the recipe pleased and surprised. Previously, I also cooked from boiled beets, there was some kind of uninteresting taste, from raw it is tastier, of course.
Natusichka
For today I received an order for caviar again from mine! Let's cook!
fronya40
Helen, now winter has come and again it is drawn to your caviar! such a delicious option !!! Thanks again!

Well, I repeated .... and so every day (for 3 days already ...). I'm already doing it for 3 huge beets and 4 carrots ... it's not enough for them anyway ...
Helen! What a delicious recipe! Thank you HUGE again and again!

Elenka, I thank you. Your recipe has become an eternal duty in our kitchen. In the cartoon it is prepared without problems, and is eaten in a moment. A husband from ATB almost drags beets with nets, with the words: "There is never too much for caviar"
Elenka
Elena, good luck!
What a fine fellow you have!
Sandy
Thanks for the yummy

Anyuta, I believe! We have been preparing such caviar for more than 40 years.
For me it tastes better with sautéed onions and carrots, they give the caviar an extraordinary taste.
I don't like "boiled" caviar.
Everyone cooks their own way.
Natusichka
Lenochka, and what do you mean "boiled"? In the cartoon?
Elenka
Natusya, well, if you "cook" everything together, you can stew it.

A-a-a-a! I got it! I also don’t add carrots not pre-fried to dishes ...
