Fat Free Whole Grain Biscotti

Ingredients

Egg 2 pcs.
Brown sugar 120 g
Wheat flour c / z 175 g
baking powder 3 gr.
Dried apricots 60 gr.
Peeled pistachios 60 gr.
Almond 60 gr.

Cooking method

  • Cut dried apricots into small pieces.
  • Beat eggs and sugar with a mixer until fluffy.
  • Add flour, baking powder, the rest of the ingredients, mix everything well.
  • With wet hands we form a "loaf", transfer it to a baking sheet covered with baking paper.
  • We bake in an oven preheated to 160 degrees for 40 minutes.
  • We take it out of the oven, cut it into slices, approximately 0.3 - 0.5 cm thick.
  • Return the slices to a baking sheet and bake for another 20 minutes to dry.
  • I didn't have pistachios at hand, I replaced them with cashew nuts and walnuts. I also added some prunes. In principle, fillers can be any that you like, not necessarily specified in the recipe. The recipe for the dough itself remains constant.
