Rem Bravo!!!! A very interesting experience! In only it is not clear why two positives?
One can only guess. Most likely to trigger a sticky dispenser if it happens.
Rem
Delonghi dispenser made of stainless steel, without teflon. Probably 2 positives for a reliable shaking out of the content, if not everything fell out during the first dash.

well, she is not so pale - this is overexposure from a flash, a white spot only in the foreground, but take a look "deeper" - there is a normal color at the roof

Good day! I have been reading the forum for a long time. I decided to be the first message to check in this temka. I myself am the owner of Panasonic 255, the choice of this model was made at the suggestion of friends who have been using this model for a long time, they are very satisfied and decided to treat us with bread and pasta, well, and the reliability attracted. Somehow they did not consider anything else, they picked up a deny and bought it. For half a year now we have been baking bread, kneading dough. However, when friends ask which is better Kenwood 450 or Panasonic 255, I say that they have to choose here on their own. For me personally (after buying Panas I began to look and read about other stoves) Kenwood's noise is not critical, we all sleep well enough, but his size would not suit me, I like Panas more in this regard, I have not enough space. Again, I don't need programming at all, I'm not particularly wise and I took the recipes from the site extremely simple so as not to waste a lot of time, so I bake bread at night. And in terms of ease of use, Panas clearly wins. My mom bakes bread sometimes, Kenwood would be difficult for her. Why is there a mother, a daughter of 8 years old can easily supply bread herself. And if, when I want something more complicated, I can cope without programming (oh, how rarely it happens, there is no time). But a friend who sits at home and loves to please her family with something unusual, probably would appreciate the possibility of programming, although, maybe not, because she likes to please her family with something new. In general, people are different, someone needs something simpler and more reliable, someone is interested in tinkering with the technique, coming up with and writing down their own recipe. Therefore, everyone should just think for himself, and what, in fact, he needs. That's all.
And homemade bread is MUCH better than the purchased one, after buying the stove we don't even look towards the store. So, even in Kenwood, even in Panas or some other stove, it will still be delicious.
Shl. Only now one trouble happened to us, my mother picked out a spatula for rye bread with a knife and scratched it badly. Fortunately, we have no problems in the service, they said that there are shovels, come and buy (I think 100 UAH).It remains to find time and get there.
Thanks for reading. Good luck!

The desire to gossip and share your vision in the first message about the stoves is a good thing, of course, only the estimate with the dimensions is false, as well as with a few exceptions and everything else.
Here are the dimensions of Panasonic 255 - Volume V = 34.2 liters Area S = 0.0924 m2
370*280*330
Here are the dimensions of Kenwood 450 - Volume V = 28.5 liters Area S = 0.0905 m2
315*385*235
sazalexter
Vanya28
Dimensions: (H x W x D) approx 37.0 x 28.0 x 33.0 cm Width and lip smaller than Kenwood
In general, in technical design there are ways to visually reduce the size, rounded edges, bevels, etc. So Panasonic is visually smaller than the Kenwood "brick"

You really remain accurate to the end or do not write what you write.
Panasonic-255 is 10 cm narrower, but also 10 cm thicker than Kenwood-450.
And the usable area on the Panasonic-255 table is 20 cm2 more (a little more than a matchbox) than Kenwood-450.
Accordingly, S = 0.0924 m2 for Panasonic-255, and for Kenwood-450 S = 0.0905 m2.
Kenwood is also lower than Panasonic.
Today, in this class, Kenwood-450 is one of the smallest stoves.
It is a pity that you are a sazalexter, not the first day on the forum, but all the same.
If we advocate objectivity, then write objectively.
This will only add to you respect and mine as well.
The forum is read by different people and many (especially new ones) want to see an honest and objective assessment here that can help with the choice.
And love or not love for certain models is a personal matter for everyone.
I always respect everyone who writes and reads here with great respect and there is no need to take what has been written as an insult.
Once again, every flower and smile.

Can I insert my own 5 kopecks? just don't throw your slippers on me, pliiiz
Kenwood has a larger useful area - it has a flat lid, you can store a lot of useful things on top of it (of course, not during baking), you can also hang a small half-penny on a metal handle - it's always convenient at hand, and even open during baking (well what if you want to look) is also safe
but I'm not campaigning for anyone for any stove! this is purely my practical observation, from my own experience

And what is the fuss to breed (reproach to the stronger sex)? As they say, each toad praises its swamp. Everyone will praise their HP, and rightly so.Everyone has their own very specific needs, their own individual situation. For me, for example, a stove is more convenient, which is square in projection (it will not be possible to comfortably position the Kenwood in this place). Someone has a better oven in the projection rectangular and lower. I agree with almost everything Ellys said. I won't judge the convenience of management - I'm already used to Panas.

Good day! Today I finally bought a bread maker. I chose two weeks, settled on two models - Kenwood BM450 and Panasonic 255. I stumbled upon your forum and saw this topic. After reading all 38 pages, my balance tipped towards Kenwood, but ... when I went to the store and carefully examined both stoves, I suddenly realized that I like Panasonic better. In general, now I am a happy owner of a Panasonic SD-255 bread machine. And this is for all of you, and thank you for helping me make such a difficult choice.

Quote: Vanya28

If you are not mistaken with the name of the Kenwood model, take the Kenwood BM450, although it is more expensive than the Panasonic SD-255
Benefits:
1. The shape of the blade is made so that the corners of the mold are better mixed (very much for rye dough).
2. 5 custom baking programs can be stored in memory, it is very convenient. There is no need to combine complex recipes with baking modes.
We set up a bake and forgot.
Come and enjoy the finished baked goods.
The rest is in the Panasonic SD-255.

In gratitude, we put a plus in reputation.

I went in to show off my first bread, which I screwed up, of course, but I think it's forgivable for the first time, the main thing was not reflected in the taste. Baked prescription Dairy from the instructions. I guessed that it would be delicious, but I didn’t expect it to be that much, but the crust and the crumb, there are simply no words. In general, I am very pleased with the stove, I will continue to master it.

Hello everyone ... well, and here you have a dispute with the size, I want to contribute my own 5 kopecks. Here I also recently suffered with the choice of a bread machine, choosing just between Panas and Kenwood (I also looked after Tefal and Moulinex), to be honest, it's true that they wrote above that everyone has their own opinion, for example, when Kenwood VM450 saw and felt, she told me immediately sunk into the soul ...and I was tormented with a choice for more than 2 weeks, either this or that .... in the end, which one I liked more initially, I bought that one. I'm madly glad, I came yesterday and immediately put on a quick baking program according to a recipe from a recipe book, which was given in the store for Kenwood's purchase. Made "White Country Bread", the bread turned out to be delicious .... today is the first day when we did not go to the store for bread)))) is now making pizza dough
9oksana9
Natasha-Serova, I also think that something has sunk into my soul and I must take it and not be tormented by a choice. Congratulations on your purchase!
Rina
I also always say "you can choose from 2-3-5-100 models as much as you like. But if the technique, upon close examination," sticks "to your hands, then you need to take it"
This will be the most correct choice.
Natasha-Serova
Thanks for the compliments! Glad insanely ... yesterday I loaded it, set it on the timer, and in the morning fresh bread !!! This is where technology has come

I just want to leave my negative feedback about Kenwood VM-450. The stove broke after 2 months. I spent a month in the service center, and it was never repaired ... I had to return it to the store and replace it with Panasonic-254. As soon as the new oven was brought home, I immediately decided to bake bread, try it, so to speak. And my surprise !!!!!!!!! Panasonic started kneading so quietly that I, being next to the stove, did not immediately realize that the process had started .... Kenwood, while kneading, rattled so that it could be heard throughout the house. And talking about putting Kenwood with a timer is out of the question - once I tried it and did not sleep all early in the morning, while the oven was stirring the dough, the roar did not let sleep. Immediately - silence and tranquility. The bread came out right away, no problem.
What else I liked about Panasonic is that the bread bucket is much more solid than in Kenwood. Here it is thicker, heavier, and in Kenwood, thin and light. Savings on everything.
I also want to say, for those who have not decided on the choice of the stove - in my experience, the dispenser in Kenwood was not used, therefore it would not be used in Panasonic - 255 either. And rye bread is not for everybody. Therefore, the difference between Panasonic 254 and 255 I see only in the price, which, in fact, does not justify itself ...

PySy. If you need an oven for baking bread without any special bells and whistles, then, in my opinion, Panasonic 254 is exactly what you need !!!!!
Swetab
And I have a Kenwood BM450, it works quietly, no one will be there at night. At night, bread is even better. Kneading dough, baking - everything is fine.

Natasha-Serova
Girls in vain are you on VM450, maybe I have a baby's dream too, I now use bread baking every evening, or rather set a timer for 7-8 am so that the bread is ready, we have it really not noisy, we don't hear it at all. I am also very pleased with the bread maker, it is not clear why such contradictory reviews, although I also understand, if I got a marriage, I would also not be happy, but so far I am lucky with the technology at least
Admin
Quote: Natasha-Serova

it is not clear why such conflicting reviews

Because everyone's reaction to the sound is different - one is very noisy, the other does not perceive exactly the same timbre of sound.

And it is right! To each his own!

And therefore, raising the question of "noisy" x \ n is not entirely correct, and there will always be a lot of disputes

I think that you initially had HP with a defect - that's why it made a lot of noise. people, according to the law on the protection of consumer rights, you have 2 weeks to check your equipment and if something does not suit you, you do not have to endure and suffer!)))
Natasha_U
By the way, yes. Maybe it was already defective. If I had looked at how it works in practice before Kenwood, then I could have said. And so .... What can I say. Pleases me Panasonic 254th

You are absolutely right, of course. But it's not that simple. It's good when there is an opportunity to touch, touch, smell. But this luxury is only available in the capital. And outside of it, especially in small towns, now in stores of household appliances - "roll a ball"! In addition, in Moscow there is an opportunity to buy in an online store for a SIGNIFICANTLY lower amount, picking up at own expense or paying a symbolic amount for delivery. Delivery to the regions is very expensive. And in the event of a marriage, you will go crazy to ferry, change, etc. I think everyone would happily come to the nearest store with a large assortment and competent sales assistants, slowly examined and chose the necessary stove (or something else) , quietly bought and brought home.
But in the conditions of empty shelves in stores, many are forced to go somewhere for the necessary goods, order from friends or still on the Internet at their own peril and risk. It is very difficult to make a choice without seeing the product "live"! Therefore, there are so many questions here.
It's just that I myself faced this now. I decided to buy a new HP. By the way, I am "tossing" between these two too! (Panasonic and Kenwood) Today I wandered into this thread and read "inside and out." I will decide - I will order. And "live" neither these, nor any others at the moment in our stores are not at all! I've been looking for it for several weeks - they just shrug their shoulders. In one store there is one kind of "none" at all, I wouldn't take it for free.
Thank you all for your advice and opinions about these models, the opinions of real users are much more important and valuable than advertising and any descriptions on the sites!
Girulka
I have been using Kenwood 450 for 7 months and a not pleasant thing came to light:

the scapula is in excellent condition (well, just perfect), but it was not for no reason to stick to it and very hard! well, just a good piece of crumb is pulled out with a spatula after baking! As usual, I take it out after baking (I let it stand for about five or ten minutes in a bucket pulled out - so that it softens), but now it always sticks!

Already for 3 or 4 years I used my panasonic - there the scapula is all scratched in a splash (I even wanted to order a new one in the service) and the crumb has never stuck to it, even a bit - everything goes away for once or twice, and with Kenwood it's such a nuisance !

Another disadvantage of Kenwood BM450 !!
