KENWOOD is 2-2.5 months. The cost of a bucket is 1000 rubles. "
I hope our bucket will last!

If a bucket has flowed, then do not despair. In most cases, a worn oil seal is the cause. These native Kenwood oil seals are of very poor quality. Under the oil seal on the axle there is a retaining ring, which, if lost, can be found in household markets. Its diameter is 8 mm. But the oil seal ... It has interesting dimensions that are not defined by GOST (8X18X6). Nevertheless, I have an extra gland for the bucket of the Kenwood 450 bread machine. It is black, heat-resistant rubber, one-sided, spring-loaded. I can concede at a reasonable price 100 rubles, I am in the VDNKh area. In this case, the price of the issue decreases sharply from the purchase of a new bucket. (100 rubles for an oil seal + 10 rubles for 2 retaining rings + 10 rubles for a copper gasket, well, it is not difficult to press the oil seal into place. For example, I shoved it into place with a wooden crush).
You write that the Kenwood 450 has an oil seal (8x18x6), but I have a different value on the oil seal (8x19x8), the same model, the bucket is square. If it's not a secret where did you get it? From what? And then you are in Moscow, and I am in Penza. Thank you!

Hello everyone!
I am reporting on the receipt of the bucket ... the one I ordered in Ukraine was just brought (since January). It would seem "Hurray", but ... there was no "twisting dough mixer" !!! It's all crooked and made of an incomprehensible material. In the service center, they say that they only work with manufacturers, they ordered from a catalog ... It's good that the old thing remained intact (from the old bucket). From the first time the bucket began to creak ...
I made an order at the aforementioned store in Moscow. They somehow lost the order that they did in January ...
Angelinka
The bucket was ordered by friends in Ukraine in the most reliable service, which orders everything only from manufacturers according to the catalog. Friends received and sent. And in Moscow they probably forgot about the January order, so I made it there again, but there is nothing in stock ... We are waiting, sir ...

Greetings to all colleagues-bakers! I have a problem with a bucket from HP Kenwood 450 - the shaft on which the mixer is attached is loose. I understand, after reading the topic, that the problem with the oil seal The stove is still under warranty. Is there a chance in the SC to change the bucket to a new one ?? Somewhere on the site I read something like that, but I can't find it now.

How much is the shaft loose? Does it interfere with making bread?

No, it doesn't interfere with baking. But when my bucket is still HOT, this shaft, it seems to me, can be pulled out from below. In the cold, it seems to be holding on. I called the SC, they said to bring HP along with a bucket. When my husband heard that he would have to go to Moscow through traffic jams, he said - look for a new bucket, and then I will try to repair it. On this they decided, especially since a bucket for Kesha was found (1000r) at the Ekolux firm, you can pick it up at own expense.

Good afternoon everyone!
I want to share the good news with everyone !!! In the MediaMarkt store (at least in the one on Zhukov), round buckets for KENWOOD 450, worth 599 rubles, have appeared on sale. They are packed in beautiful boxes and stand right next to the bread makers, a stirrer is also included. When buying a new bread machine, a bucket can be purchased for 1 ruble, which I did. There is no limit to my joy !!!
vikaspb
sazalexter, thanks for the link, I have been on the site quite recently, I didn’t even know that there is such a temka.

vikaspb and there are no buckets for Panasonic and clathronics?
To be honest, I did not pay attention, if I get caught somewhere, I will immediately unsubscribe, and I have never met a clathronic bread machine in St. Petersburg at all.
sazalexter
*** yana *** Buckets on the open market are rather an exception to the rule, usually such things are ordered through service centers.

Service centers for the clathronic have never brought buckets to order, they say - no. and to Panasonic recently they began to refuse service, they say we no longer serve ...

I also bought in St. Petersburg at the service center, were available immediately, not under the order. The cost is 1200 rubles. Expensive, but what to do

And in St. Petersburg where you bought a bucket ??? Thanks in advance for your reply.

Kenwood BM450 - the shaft fell out almost immediately (1.5 years ago), this did not affect the quality of bakery. The oil seal fell off yesterday. I began to look for a solution to the problem - either order a new oil seal or change the bucket. And today I put everything in a bucket and baked excellent bread. Neither the shaft nor the gland affects the quality! Bake bread and don't worry about repairs

I may not understand why, but how does your mixer turn without a shaft and an oil seal? the dough mixer is put on the shaft, and the oil seal is a gasket in the bucket hole. she holds the shaft ... how is the dough kneaded?

How does water not flow out? You cannot put on a timer, the proportions will not be the same and a puddle under the bread maker. Unless, first pour the flour, and then the liquid. And the bread will turn out to be mixed with grease and metal. It may not be felt in bread, but the dough on dumplings is all in black stripes ...

Jefry everything is correct. swam, we know. so I don't understand

like this?
OJGG
The shaft is simply stuck into the hole of the bucket, the mixer itself is on it. Nothing pours out anywhere. When you wash the bucket, the shaft falls out, and when you put the bucket in place, everything is fine.I didn't bake with the timer, but just nothing flows in the main mode, everything is fine. I'm not going to change the bucket

oh, I remember myself .... I also fiddled with a false bucket ... I took cold oil and smeared my finger first around the mixer and the gland. cold oil clogged the gap and this was enough for the bun to knead ... only it ended anyway when the shaft began to walk ...
OJGGyou need to find a seal for your bucket (heat-resistant silicone gasket) and put it between the oil seal and the bucket ... then the shaft will not fall out ...

it is unprofitable for manufacturers when the equipment is repaired ... it is profitable for them that when something breaks down people throw out and buy a new one or the whole block ...
OJGG
This is not profitable for stove manufacturers, but there are also other manufacturers who make oil seals. This trick costs 100 rubles / piece at the cost of a penny. In the Urals I found an online store, they sell oil seals, but in Moscow I did not find it ...
OJGG
here they give 🔗
Jefry
OJGGmaybe you don't need a new oil seal? Once assembled, the bucket does not flow. The fact that it falls out may be the result of removing-inserting the shaft. Try to put it on the shaft first. If the oil seal collar has no visible damage and tightly wraps around the shaft, then everything is ok. Then it is enough to buy and put in place the retaining ring. And wrap the gland itself on the outside with a couple of turns of foil so that it fits tightly.
Our oil seal costs 10 UAH (1.2 ye), a locking ring - 50 kopecks.

The stuffing box has completely collapsed, the pin falls out and still the bread is excellent!

So my oil seal collapsed (model BM 450), although the furnace was not used very often. They wanted to repair it first, but while they were taking it apart, they scratched the cover, and in general, my husband did not want to take it on. Now I'm looking for a new bucket, of any shape. On the Ecolux website the price for a rectangular bucket for this model is 1700, and for a round one is 2300 !!!!! Can you please tell me if there is something cheaper?

I would not be so happy, the next symptom would be huge bearing wear and (or) complete jamming of the bucket and motor

What is it for? Everything is spinning, nothing interferes ... The scapula sat on the shaft and sits ... It seems that all these are fears of the bucket sellers (thank God, not blue)
sazalexter

What is it for?
Sadly, after the destruction of the stuffing box, liquid and flour will inevitably fall on the bearing, the grease will be washed out, the shaft will rotate dry and this will lead to wear
Sonka
We bought a bucket for VM 450 today, but it does not fit our HP (they said in the service that HP was bought in 2009, but we were told that there are only one type of bucket and this is the result) .... Now we are thinking where to attach it. .. Maybe someone will buy, we will give it back for the same price as we took 1600 rubles (the check is attached, the date of purchase on it is today). Sorry if I'm writing to the wrong section
