Lentils in garlic oil with tomatoes

  • I did not have dry lentils, but found them in the bins in a 400 g canned can. What I did -
  • she poured some olive oil into a preheated frying pan and threw a large clove of crushed garlic into it. when the garlic was fried to a beige - light brown color and the aroma (spirit?) floated through the kitchen, I took out the garlic and threw it away. In "garlic oil" I put 5-6 canned tomatoes without skin (I had cream). And stewed for 8-15 minutes on low heat. then I added lentils and stewed for 8-10 minutes. Salted, pepper a little basil, a little oregano and kept it for 2-3 minutes on the fire, stirring. It turned out very tasty. I can imagine how delicious it will be with dry lentils!
