Cooking method

  • This recipe was shared with me by my mother-in-law, a great needlewoman. Unfortunately, there is no photo, but on the eve of the New Year it will be relevant for those who are ready to bother to surprise guests. The husband is delighted with him, he always ate without understanding what was there, because it was tasty and satisfying, but when he found out its full composition, he was stunned by such a set of products and his name is always different for how to decorate it, but the husband called him a jerk or rubbish from - for a combination of seemingly incompatible products.
  • So, let's begin:
  • Cut the potatoes into thin strips and deep-fry until tender, put on a napkin to remove excess fat.
  • Do the same with carrots and fry until tender.
  • Cut the crab sticks into circles and also lightly fry so that they begin to unfold into ribbons.
  • Cut the onion into half rings and marinate in vinegar with sugar and salt.
  • Boil the eggs.
  • And now everything has cooled down, cheese is grated on a coarse grater, pineapples and eggs are cut into cubes. We begin to fold the salad with mashed saury, and then the rest of the ingredients in random order, alternating dry layers with wet ones. Moreover, we lubricate only dry layers with a mesh of mayonnaise. We get a huge bowl of very satisfying, delicious salad. Of course the preparation is tedious, but worth it. Today I decided to add a little explanation to my recipe. Since I did not indicate the size of potatoes, carrots, I want to add that all the ingredients should be approximately the same amount. Croutons can also be taken to your liking, who likes what. A mother-in-law, for example, fries small croutons herself in butter with the addition of her favorite seasoning. The main thing is to lay the salad in thin layers with the correct alternation of dry and wet product. The name of this salad is different for my mother-in-law every time. For her birthday she decorated it by drawing a birch from olives, egg whites and green onions, and naturally named it "Russian birch". On February 23rd - she built turrets of carrots and potatoes and called them "Lighthouse Lights". As I say, she is an inventor and a needlewoman. So create and name it after yourself!

I like to cook with crackers, I always do it myself. Even a simple Peking salad, when I add croutons, becomes very tasty.
