You know, tofu tof (e) u - strife! I also do not like the one that we do. But real tofu -! With a nutty flavor.

About the taste of soy products from the "cow".
Everything is tasty enough.
1. Milk as such does not look like cow's milk, rather, a tonic drink. It is easy to drink, unlike the store. You need to drink quickly, on the second or third day it deteriorates.
2. Bean curd / tofu cheese. It is necessary to accumulate 4-5 liters of milk, ferment it with a special mixture of sea water or even lemon juice. Tasteless enough, picks up the flavors of a ready-made sauce dish. I liked the consistency the most.
3. Soybean cake (okara) after squeezing milk through a sieve. It looks like a sooooo homogeneous white puree, almost tasteless and odorless. I freeze this okaru in trays. I used it to make "cheesecakes" with vanilla and sugar during the post - my family did not understand anything, they ate it with pleasure. You can add to minced meat as an additive, if you don't mind the thought of soy in cutlets.

PS Okara once put it in bread in the HP, but for some reason the bun did not form, and the "roof" of the finished bread fell through. It didn't affect the taste in any way. On this I finished experiments with the utilization of okara into bread.

I will add that the summer version of "glass" store tomatoes does not roll.

In the summer I do it differently.

First, I twist the tomatoes on the button number 4 - without heating.
Then I put pepper, garlic, salt, spices, bell pepper and a couple of tablespoons of tomato paste in this liquid.
And at the end, as in the above recipe - button number 3 - with heating for 15 minutes.

This okara is essentially a byproduct of soy milk production.
And I Japanese even make baby food from it.
The consistency is like mashed cottage cheese, a lot of protein, fiber, you can give any taste - there are many advantages.

Once, after Lent, a lot of okara accumulated - I made vegetable caviar from it with onion-carrot "frying".

They will start growing in the summer of 2014.
This means that I will buy 10-15 kg in stock. Nothing can be done to her in a vacuum.
For one run of a cow, 1 measuring cup is needed, this is 50 grams of dry soy.

Similar to this one.
🔗
The characteristics are the same. And power, and capacity, and a two-blade knife.
Only the handle is square, which is only a plus.

No menu photo. Button or touch?

I searched by model numbers, but I couldn't find it. What do sellers write about the differences between them?

And the wire, as I understand it, is standard for China, a three-pronged plug? If so, you will have to change.

And I also like this one, in appearance and in characteristics (except for the handle).

And it is more powerful, 1000 W motor. The menu is simple (there is a photo). Three-bladed knife.

Selection criteria (mine).
1. Power not lower than 800W.
2. Steel flask.
3. Closed ten (otherwise some dishes cannot be prepared).
4. Absence of a filtering screen (the reason is the same).
5. Notches inside the housing (for mixing).
6. Button menu (not touch).
There is no service, there will be nowhere to fix the touch panel.
7. Capacity from 1 liter.
8. Square handle (put the head of the device upside down on the table).

I have a cow with a round handle, not very comfortable.
I also think, only a plus, if the knives with 3 or 4 blades. On the other hand, I have 2 blades and grinds very well. I can't compare.

PS The wire is usually removable, but I've seen models with non-removable ones.

Take with a removable wire, because: a) it is convenient to store and wash the flask; b) the default plug is Chinese three-pronged, we remove the "native" wire and buy a new wire for replacement in the service or electrical goods, or change the plug to a two-pronged one.

And my intermediary has already changed for me.)))

We had a problem with this in our city. It is from triple to double.

I wanted to add a note to the main post, but it is outdated, cannot be edited.

Lovehack from Elena. Part 1.
The cow's motor should rest after each work cycle until it cools down. The fuse interferes with re-engaging.
What if you need to use the cow again?
Rinse her head with running water and put it in the freezer for a while. I usually take 5 minutes.

It helps if you need to cook a lot of soy milk for tofu at once (usually 4-5 "cow" starts).
mur_myau
Live hack from Elena. Part 2.

It is difficult to wash the "cow" because there are sockets that should not get water.

You need: a medical rubber fingertip or an inflatable ball + a piece of construction tape (I always keep a skein in the kitchen for various needs).
We put the fingertip on the connectors on the "head" of the cow.
We glue the connectors on the flask from the bottom and top with adhesive tape.
All! You can wash and not be afraid that water gets inside.

I see one, but a significant plus: no need to top up water for the machine to grind. Consequently, the puree will turn out thick (I think so). Who used the device, ay! This is true?

Cons: it will take more time than with simultaneous grinding and heating. Fewer programs. Soy and coconut milk cannot be made in it.

And what is his capacity? These are usually made for baby food, what if it's small?

Why at the same time?

Then what you need at the same time - need a stirring effect during cooking
For example - when cooking sauces or semolina or other liquid dishes.
And this steamer with liquid dishes does not work in principle, it only makes mashed potatoes from steamed ones.

And what is his capacity? These are usually made for baby food, what if it's small?
This is for baby food - capacity 800 (bulk) / 450 (liquid) ml

1. Heating power 750 watts (considering our voltage 110 volts is enough).
2. Motor power 220 watts.
3.The rotation speed of the knife is 11000 rpm.
4. The knife is two-bladed, there is nothing to compare with ...
5. Flask made of stainless steel, capacity 1.3 liters, there is a stainless steel lid, the head is removed, covered with a lid and like a kettle.
6. Closed heating element.
7. The minimum number of buttons -3: Milk, Mill, On / Off.
8. Availability of a special plastic cup to set the head vertically.
9. 2 years warranty.

And what is the distance from the knives to the bottom of Mida's cow? Maybe it can't cope with thick, water is necessary?
I specially measured the head up to the knives, then the flask. It turned out about 5 cm to the bottom.

By default in the instructions - liquid, up to the min and max marks inside. Grain is thrown into it.

Once I tried to make thick vegetable caviar from fresh vegetables - the device slipped and warmed up, turned off automatically for a while, the program was reset.
If you add a little water or replace it (grind the tomatoes on button 4 instead of water), then everything grinds perfectly.

Grinds soft fruits and vegetables very well without water.
I did: mashed banana, from oranges (it is necessary to divide it into slices, and from one I still squeezed juice and threw the pulp inside). Grinding without heating.

Then either get it out and eat like that, or you can have a little sugar and cook jam on the button number 3.

Bananas are heated and everything very sweet is fried to the tena, then you need to wash it off with a brush. In this case, water is needed, well, at least a little.
If you cook fruit without sugar, it does not burn.

So I'm talking about Philips blender steamer. How do you think they cook with steam? Of course, with water topping up! Watch the video more closely.
My question was about something else.
Let's reformulate so that you understand.

In a conventional steamer with levels, condensation flows down through the vents back to the receiver. Part still comes out, and it is required to top up the water container (it separately).

The finished product is just cooked, but does not float in liquid.

Water is needed only for steaming, but in a flask does not remain... No water is needed for grinding, and the device copes without it, the puree will be thicker. This is what I originally meant when I wrote about the fact that no water needed.

But now, from your words, I realized that in this model of the steamer-blender, water remains inside the device along with the products and further participates in grinding. So?
