After the ice cream maker, this ice cream has a very pleasant structure, but if it is frozen in the freezer, it turns into stone. Creamy ice cream (cream fat content of at least 33%) almost does not increase in volume, but it does not turn into stone either, and I prefer to additionally cool it in the freezer, or you can pre-hold the mixture in the freezer before placing it in the ice cream maker for 15-20 minutes. Try to take a cream that is less fat, for example, 20-25%, the volume should increase. I slightly thaw ice cream from the freezer in the microwave, 5-10 seconds is enough for 400-500 g of ice cream (power 900 W)

The cooking time also depends on the amount of ingredients, I usually take 800g of cream and 1 b. condensed milk.
